Is there really a need for a working camera on this device?

Yes.

Yess we need it for selfie or documentation, lesley. I just have this device

yes , there are people like my mother who just dont know when to quit on a phone and buy a new one. s6310 has sentimental value hahaha, so does its useless camera hahaha

It would be nice to have it working...
A fact that this phone has a bad camera, and useless most of the time... It would be better to focus on RIL for the duos variant and CM12 than focusing on fixing the camera as it's bad anyways...
We need RIL for dous, it's the core of the phone as it won't be called a phone if it can't call...try to fix atleast one SIM for the S6312

Yes
camera is main feature, and most app need camera to work well

I voted for 1st because my sister need this but for me, Camera app doesn't exist =))

Of cource we need camera (Pokémon GO etc.). I hope you can make it

it's very very needed

Dual Video Recording - Sony Xperia Z3?

Hi guys,
As stated above question, does Sony Xperia Z3 / Sony's flagship phones has dual video recording or dual video call feature?
LG & Samsung flagships have this feature, does Sony has this?
Please don't hate my question, I've already searched for threads or posts but no results found.
Thanks & best regards.

Wow, that's a relief!
I really want that feature, able to capture yourself and others at the same time.
Dual video call means when using skype, your contact may able to see your face and rear camera at the same time.
Thanks for clarifying! Thanks +1 given :good:

I thought it had that feature.
Do you have any game crashing issues with Sony Xperia Z3?
I'm planning to buy Z3, and Sony Smartphones tended to crash more often on games even in online gaming, is that true?
Will you recommend Z3 for gaming?

As i am always honest.
I dont know, because i am casual gamer (temple run, duet, or some sort of puzzle gamer) i dont have time nor will to play massive 3D games on phone, especially online.
But i can assure you i never had problems playing games on my older Xperias which include (Xperia Z1, Xperia S, Xperia Arc/s, Xperia Neo)
So my honest opininion this word "tends" to crash more is not suintable on whole Xperia Lines, its suintable to individuals who mods their phone a lot.
On stock Sony Rom, i forgot how "force close" popup looks like, i never had it on Z3 nor Z1.

Sounds good, coz I'm a heavy gamer.
On my previous Samsung Galaxy Phones, I always root my phone to be able to use apps like Lucky Patcher, Gameguardian, modded Apk's with OBB,
Freedom, in short, I install these apps for hacking games & to install apps that requires root like greenify, seeder, etc etc.
I rooted my phone but still using my stock rom, I never installed a custom rom.
My question, is it ok to root Xperia Z series? You said problems arise for those people who mod their phone, but all I want is just to root the phone. :fingers-crossed:

It is ok to root it, but for example greenify is useless because you have stamina and ultra stamina, if you combine them, they could make problems. So there is no point of this app, for seeder i dont know what is it.
Its simply like this, take every phone on this world, if it is stock it will work as company intended, take it and modify it, there is a chance to make it unstable.
I were like you before in days of (Xperia Neo, Arc, S) then when i bought Z1 i modified and then went back to Stock. And i found out stock works the best.

Greenify it' s not useless, it is not the same thing with Stamina.

Cyanogenmod for the gear 2 neo

Hi is there any way to port cyanogenmod to the gear 2 neo? since it was possible to do so with the gear 1: http://sourceforge.net/projects/countdev/files/Galaxy Gear/CM10.1_GalaxyGear_Count.zip/download
and the gear S: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-s/development/dev-gear-s-android-port-t3177740
than it should be possible with the 2 and 2neo I don't know about you but im sick of Tizen and android wear is missing a lot of features. So could someone please help me get cyanogenmod for the gear 2? That would be amazing and I bet a lot of people would benefit
Thanks in advance,
Probably this is possible, but your watch won't receive any notification from your phone.

Thats totally fine I am just someone who likes to experiment with ROMS and things like that I cant answer calls from my phone anyway cause it has CM so notifications arent a big issue. Do you know any way to do this? Thanks for answering
I'm not sure, but probably you can try to do it with Android wear and cm, and combine it with porting tutorial.

No Raw DNG capture on OxygenOS 2.1.4 for OPO!

This makes no sense to me to take one of the best features of this phone and dump it. Is there a way to get this back with a custom kernel or a mod of some kind.
That would make this ROM perfect (at least for me )
I don't know how complicated this is but it's working on cm so why not on OxygenOS?
Camera libraries were already different on OxygenOS 1.0 and already didn't support RAW. It's a pity though it wasn't included in 2.1.4...
Camera blobs... Cm uses better blobs, same thing to shutter speed I use often 64 seconds and on oxygen just eww 1/100 they doing steps behind, my first and last phone from them

Please let me know when there is a gcam mod available for galaxy a51. The stock camera is the worst camera app. This is the first time I'm trying out a samsung phone and the camera performance is worst.
Please help me with this! Can't afford a new phone:crying:.

So is there a solution? Without rooting the device for Camera2 API-installation? So utterly disappointed in Samsung's Pro Mode for the camera. They used to have THE most versatile options, dumbed down to such basics. How do we get Gcam going?

Open Camera
Hi guys, not sure if this would be a decent alternative for you or not but I've been using a camera app for a long time called Open Camera and it seems quite good compared to most stock camera apps I've tried. It has the Api2 you mentioned, and usually has a lot more options than most stock apps. Try it out maybe you'll like it, I always recommend it to my friends.
*sigh* Turns out I can't simply post a link, but if you search the Playstore for Open Camera it's the first one, from Mark Harmon.
Someone tried Zoran Gcam for Motorola one vision. They share the same processor
