here is list of things can made porting hard
1.Screen resolution: our devices is mpdi and xperia z is 1080 x 1920(full hd)
2.Processor: our pico is armv7(600mhz) and xperia z is Quad-core 1.5 GHz Krait
3.our pico is bt3 and xperia z is bt4
4.stock rom size of xperia z will be around 1gb i dont think it will fit in our little pico even after removing some apps and bloats
5.Brand: our device is HTC and xperia is SONY so it is hard (or impossible to port from different brand

1) Turn off Caps Lock.
2) You forgot to write a number but Its not about years, look at sakindia123, ~17 yo and RD.
3) You don't need a programmer, you need a themer. Good luck!

Its very Difficult to Port Xperia Z rom Lots of work needed So just use Mod But if your working Thats good....!!

is it advisable to use the smartwatch 1? even my xperia z will be upgraded to 4.4 soon would it be that good for smart watch 1?
smartwatch2 is too expensive till now so im going to smartwatch 1.... is that good model.? it saw smartwatach and its beautiful and cheap but i dont know or tried it yet.... any advice guys??? tnx...

I have experience with both SW1 and SW2. Compared to SW2, SW1 is really bad.
SW2 is way better in terms of looks as well as functionality. SW2 has always on display, ability to add widgets on the watchface, custom watchfaces etc. I strongly recommend getting sw2.
I have no idea about compatibility of SW1 with new versions of android. I used it with gingerbread [emoji1]
im having issues with the price... i just saw this smart watch 1 cute... easy to attached and much big cheaper than the smart watch 2....
so id like to know its usage... features and if its advisable and worth to buy and use for my xperia Z....
I have both and agree with the other guys, the SW1 is no comparison to the 2. Besides the screen quality and the fact that you have to switch it on all the time I guess you'll be soon frustrated when you see all the apps and watch faces you cannot use because development is on the 2 now.
If money is tight save a little more and buy a SW2, the 1 is not worth it unless someone offers it to you.

I own an Xperia E dual phone. I realize after I bought that the camera quality is not really good and viewing videos like youtube makes my head giddy. Are they ways to "tweak" or "optimize" the pics and video quality anymore than what it already is "capable" of?

Sony announced that the Non Z Mid range phones T2 Ultra and C3 will be getting the lollipop update officially soon... Though they said earlier that the update will be only available to the Z series... Sony is unpredictable, And as we all know that Our beloved Xperia E3 was released after both the devices... And has good configuration as both the devices... So chances are that maybe Sony will release Lollipop sooner or later for the owners of M2, E3 and other mid-range devices running Kitkat...

after those devices i am sure T3 ultra,m2 and E3 all will recive lollyopop cuz they are simlar devices.

if official lollyopop came then freexperia AOSP will soon become stable cuz they can use official lollyopop to learn.
and porting it to non LTE devices will become super easier.
I like UI of xperia lollypop.
It look,s really cool and also it gives good battery/performance improvement.

Ya Same here... If official comes out then I'm not gonna use AOSP or CM coz it looks so familiar to other devices... xperia has it's own unique UI... I'm looking forward to better battery performance...

Hey have you used screen mirroring in your phone to LCD TV?? Like DLNA device such as Miracast or Chromecast? Does E3 support DLNA screen mirroring??? I have used it for playing audio and video on LCD TV but I was hoping that I could get the phone's screen on TV wireless... And also which type of TV out does it support?? MHL?

I agree here for not using aosp 5.x.x and cm12. biggest reason for not using aosp 5.x.x and cm12 should be it removes sony,s tweek,s which will cause loosing camera quality (mostly at dark places) loosing audio quality (mostly at outdoor) loosing battery life (mostly at a place with too much light or gaming)
So better use official lollypop. i love xperia UI it,s 10x better than kitkat UI.

i used to play games/movies on my sony bravia LED tv using mirroring on my xperia E3 dual.
and that feature is hidden someware in setting,s NEVER FOUND WERE.
I used an app from playstore which directly open mirroring setting. i forgot name of app but if you only want to play videos then use [imediashare] app if you want to mirror screen then search for app. hope you find it. i don,t use mirroring often so i removed app long time ago. app was so small maby 10 to 100 kb(it uses miracast and dlna i think so).

yes.i use this app with my e3 flamigo,very easy to used.i'm just only used this app with my smart tv sony bravia.You connect your phone and tv with the same wi-fi.go to section ''mirror phone'' on bravia,and then use the app mirracast and find your tv name tag,when you find it,press ''connect'' and wait :good:.very easy,if you cant connect,try turn off then on your tv or phone again.

do not flash any roms not designed for the z3v specifically. I guarantee you will regret it as your phone will no longer work and you more than likely will not be able to fix this even with flashtool and remember Sony pc companion doesn't work either-thanks Verizon. You can port the z5 apps if you want-I've done some not really worth it-you could delete over 150 apps and still retain 99% functionality on this firmware.most the themes and sound mods for the z series work on the z3v (use extreme caution). Don't mess with the camera...ps for the sound mods search heavly pick once as they don't like to be flashed over each other.
