Hi! So I was watching some YouTube yesterday and I noticed that the giroscope didn't work though it was activated. I disabled it and re-enable it and it worked fine. After a couple of minutes it stopped working again. I'm sure it's just a software issue but I don't know what exactly. I'm running the stock rom with faux mainline kernel 09 and his recommended settings from G+. Thanks for your time

Thanks!
i successfully ported the camera app for oneplus 2 and now i start this project for oneplus 3. work is in progress, so expect bugs. tell me about and best is to attach log.
bugs:
- manual focus fc
edits:
added v1.1 zips, fixed gallery edit
added v1.2 zips, ported from new OOS 3.2.0 update
- flash in recovery and enjoy. stock or other camera apps will NOT be replaced!
- previous users of old h2o cam or my old zips should uninstall old version/both "oneplus" folders in system/app first. they will now be placed in system/priv-app
don't copy nor upload it somewhere else!
Thnx
Nice! Gonna test it out on CM.
The quality of the pictures is not as good as it is on stock. Especially the dark or black areas are way more noisy.
Edit:
Anyway thanks for the port
Thank you so much for the port. Can you also please make the photo quality same as in oxygen os?

I assume it is because the image processing only works with the stock app. Stuff like dynamic denoise etc.
Read the bugs
Bug when switching camera green bars flash
One more thing to report: manual ISO selection doesn't work. Screen goes black.
Thanks for the great work!

Hi!
Can anyone please try if https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=troop.com.freedcam&hl=en works on the XZ for dng raw support? (this is using a Qualcomm api, not camera api2.0)
Nope, with 3 choice for camera API, only "camera1" can choosed and working, no DNG, no much function...

on Z3 Compact I'm getting:
picture-format-values=jpeg
picture-format=jpeg.
So I'm guessing it doesn't matter that it's using Qualcomm api instead of camera 2.0..
edit: I'm on 4.4.4 but I don't think that matters either (since we're not talking about the Qualcomm api

If anyone has the above setup and is willing to do a simple test, I would do anything to get RAW on the Z3c. I'm leaving SONY with great sadness on January, only for the lack of RAW support on photos.

Of course there is parsing error.
I am looking into the codes after decomoiling it . so far no new useful piece of codes whatsoever .
maybe all the change has been made to the HAL or something , maybe they just changed the build SDK to 24 and released the old APK as it was
Funny that I don't get likes for actually extracting the file...
And of course it has errors..it is made for Android 7.
Some of you guys... Jesus.

Camera2API support is(some of it) coded in the kernel and you need kernel mods to implement this function

not quite ,
cant shoot 23 mp pics with manual shutter speed with any camera app. (probably HAL related issue)
default camera app still doesnt have manual shutter speed :/
these are quite reasons enough for me :/

And the manual shutter speed does not work...it is crap.
It just adjusts the iso..and you can't use both at the same time.
Quality of pictures are not better.

Hello guys,
I've just searched into the conf files of the camera of our beautiful device, and I found the option about the video stabilization.
What do you think guys? Maybe our next update?
See the attachement for more infos.
Have you tried changing any values?

Wow. Fantastic! I'm looking forward to test it when it arrives to Europe.
Update for European version is named B162 and is already present in Firmware Finder, it should start rolling out soon. It should bring EIS for 1080p30 video recording. Also beta ROM with GPU Turbo is already in the works.
