[Completed] LG Magna without download mode - XDA Assist

I have LG Magna H502Y and i have REALLY BIG PROBLEM. My phone apparently has 8GB of internal storage, but it on has 2 of available,so i had no space for downloading. And i flashed custom rom for LG Magna(AOSP Rom,Exception rom) in search of those 8GB,and i did it. But now the whole software has problems, like no double tap for lock-unlock,camera is really bad,no QMemo, and alot of things that original LG Magna had. Now there comes tricky part,i wanted to flash it back to normal stock firmware via LG Flash Tool with KDZ file(i found KDZ file for LG Magna) aaaaaand as i wanted to start flashing to stock firmware,THE PHONE HAS NO DOWNLOAD MODE THAT IS NECESSARY FOR FLASHING.Can you guys please help me finding out how to flash it to stock rom? I tried via ADB,LG Flash tool... :crying:

This is the tutorial you musto follow:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1942836
When choosing KDZ file, use the latest for your country, from here:
http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=2
PS: Just noticed there is no Sweden ROM there, just use EUROPE OPEN.
Ok I have done this..but it installed CWM recovery and also in Android Gingerbread it gives me 0 mb internal storage, even after factory reset and storage format...
Whats the diffrence between a .kdz and a bin file? I downloaded a kdz file from ur second link but in the unbrick method in the first link its all about bin files..

A KDZ file includes a rom (BIN file) and a baseband (FLS file).
If you flash a rom (BIN file), you will need to also flash a compatible baseband (FLS file).
My phone is stuck in a bootloop with LG logo and LG animation...i try to enter the Recovery with 3D+Volume down and Power button until vibration....but nothing is happening....only LG logo appears then dissappears----
Now it entered. But there was no vibration and i needed to press volume up or down for the screen to appear....strange :S

To begin with, Welcome to XDA Developers
Please review the LG Optimus One FAQ for answers to commonly asked questions.
As for which ROM is better... That's really a matter of personal preference. I'd suggest reading the FAQ first before making a hurried decision.
Starting with CM7 ( Android 2.3 ) all ROMs are for new baseband. From what info you've supplied your device is old baseband. If you choose a P500 specific ROM CM7.2 or later you will also need the old baseband patch. There is a link in the FAQ I mentioned above for downloading it. Should you decide to use any of Rasheds ROMs, just use the P509 variant. It's hardware is identical to the P500 but the P509 will always be an old baseband device. Rashed include the old baseband patch in the P509 and P506 ROMs. Do NOT flash a P506 ROM on your device. The touchscreens are different so they have different drivers.
Best of luck and once again, Welcome to XDA-Developers

NEVER use ROM Manager with this device. Flash old baseband patch after flashing the ROM. Once rooted, you can use FlashImageGUI to flash a custom recovery. Then reboot device to recovery and following flashing steps posted in the FAQ. FlashImageGUI is an application ( apk ). You can download it from Play Store. ROM must be on SDCARD to flash it via recovery. You can also use Android Flash Recovery to flash a custom recovery if you prefer using Windows. Link is in my signature. The download contains the drivers needed for Windows to detect your device. You must install them before attempting to flash the recovery. Drivers are located in the usb folder in the archive.

Honestly I'm not sure. I've try not to use KDZ because of all the devices that have been bricked by it. I'm not saying that yours will get bricked, but I was never willing to try. I still have a P509 but I don't use it anymore except for testing apps that I write. KDZ has bricked 2 P506's for me. But, I think the issue was that I left the SIM card in the device. Not sure tho. Sorry I cannot give you a more direct answer.

It will update your recovery to the newest stock recovery is my guess but that won't work. Stock recovery doesn't allow for custom ROM installations. As I mentioned earlier, you will need to install a custom recovery and not thru LG Update. Along with Android Flash Recovery ( AFR ) there are many other tools here at XDA that are far safer to use than LG's software since most of LG's stuff is crap. Just do a little searching and you'll find what you're looking for. My job is not to give you all the answers you want, but to point you in the right direction. Here at XDA we stress using the Search feature.

LG Optimus SOL completely, and irreparably bricked...

Hi guys, badly need some help.
I was trying to upgrade my SOL (various different ROMs, currently using stock GB) was updated to the stock Italian ICS using the kdz updater.
SInce I had just used the kdz on the same setup a few days back to flash the stock GB, I suppose there are no issues with the USB drivers on the PC.
Now, after the kdz process using the ICS ROM, the utility said that the update was succesfull. BUT, the phone re-started, but doesnt go beyond the LG logo.
Now when I try to reflash using the kdz, it reports that there was no phone found.
So is the SOL completely, and irreparably bricked? I hope not, am hoping some of the magicians on this forum casn get me out of this!
Best Regards,

[Completed] [Q] LG Tribute Trouble

Hello, I'm new. i have no clue where the proper forums are. but here's my problem,
I ran twrp in rom manager and selected the wrong phone type on accident and my screen went black? never booted back up. cant hard reset/open recovery mode. I'm not sure what went wrong. I didn't flash a new rom or anything. just pressed to wrong phone model and poof no more phone. Any help will be much appreciated
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Flashing the wrong recovery for your device can brick it. Your best hope is to flash the stock firmware. Unfortunately I can't find specifically how to do that for your device. Here are some threads on using the LG flash tool. CAUTION, only flash files that are specific to your device.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2498102
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
If you have questions you could try asking in those threads.
This helps a bit, thank you. I'm a little closer to solving this thanks to you. still need to find the tributes stock firmware and whatnot. did i mention when i plug my phone up to the computer, i can't use download mode. AND it shows up as removable disk g.
I'm sorry but I can't find any more information about your device than I already gave you. I see you posted in one of the threads. You're going to have to hope someone with your devices sees it and knows where to get the files you need for the LG flash tool.

I can go to download mode and have a laptop next to me if i need to use any programs please help. I thing i only just soft bricked it
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. There is not a lot of information on XDA about your device. But it sounds like you need to flash the stock firmware to get your device working again. I did find this thread with others that have your device, http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general/lg-g-stylo-boost-mobile-t3113080. I would see if anyone there can help you.
