It is shown in the List of available devices, but no PIN Dialog shows up.
I have tried some Bluetooth Pairing apps, but they all wan't to enable Bluetooth first which does not respond.
Any Suggestions?

This has been documented, there is currently no fix.

I have just flashed the latest image from May 4 and it seems that the bluetooth enabling bug is solved!

Nice to hear. I'll have to give it a try on my head unit, as my bluetooth is very buggy as well.

Hmm, this is curious ... after flashing it worked. After rooting i got the same error

@doctorman - Can i use this "KD" firmware on my Joying 10.1" mtcd unit to see if it fixed the bluetooth bug for me?
Also, can you send me a link to the 1.49.2 mtcd update compatible with my unit? I can't seem to find either of these things on an official joying page so I'm hesitant.

technically any mtcD ROM should be interchangeable, I have not tried it.
here is the latest JY dMCU
dMCU https://mega.nz/#!R5QGFAgS!6SzIIdkxX...FRdnOTeu4q_y2k

Joying skipped the MAy update. I expect another update for mtcD from Joying soon.

Malaysk Got his mtcD unit and is working on it. I think he will use the latest KD ROM and add in JY goodies.
knowing Malaysk, I think we will have his ROM out in few days.

I see he posted the ROM today, I'm going to download and try it now. I get prompted for a decryption key on MEGA when I try to download that dmcu you linked.

not sure why but here is the dmcu.
dont have time to test Malaysk ROM today but I will try it this week.
update us in his thread how it goes.
I am playing around with mtcB ROM5

I did try latest rom from Malaysk, nothing changed in concern of this bug.
Still hoping for this to be fixed! (Can't use Dashcommander for now, unless i use the USB-OBD2-Chip).
Huge respect to Malaysk for the huge benefits, we already gained by his work!

I ordered this product:
http://xtrons.com/pf75m211a-7-androi...edes-benz.html
Came with this Firmware: MTCD_GS_V1.49_1 Apr 28th 2016
Torque\Dash Command fail miserably, both applications indicate that bluetooth is NOT ON. They attempt to turn it on only to freeze forever.
I updated the MCU to MTCD_GS_V1.61_1 May 31 2016
Also rooted and installed Malaysk V4 rom.
Still no luck.
I've sent a barrage of emails to the seller both on Ebay and through their official contact info on their site, still no luck.
What steps do we need to take to get this addressed?
To the DEVS, has the issue been identified in code? Is it a inherent problem in hardware or is it ROM related\MCU related?
I've been reading in various forums that it is bluetooth LIB files that need to be added in..?
Would love some answers, I know i'm not the only one experiencing this, plus it would help me determine if I should return this altogether if no FIX is possible...

Please can you confirm that Usb OBD2 works well on MCTD units?

Spoke with Xtrons again today.
They said to return the unit, but in the same breathe claimed it wasn't a hardware problem, which means it's software, they also said they'd ship out another one to me, which makes no sense if the software hasn't changed.
I asked them for a firmware update and they said that won't help.
Are they just bsing me at this point?

update:
I somehow got Torque to work, but torque sucks, it still says bt is off , but i used the bt mac address to connect.
Dash command has no option for this.
Essentially the core of the problem is the OS is telling 3rd party apps that bluetooth is off, and doesn't give an option to power on

^torque always worked, at least for me, since that particular app doesn't have a BT check for operation. Most 3rd party apps check if BT is enabled which is when the problem occurs. If you go in to the Torque app, you will see in adapter status, BT enabled fluctuating from on to off and back every few seconds. There is something weird going on in the background causing all this.

Yeah i concur, the bluetooth check is what's killing it. Torque sucks so bad though :|

I must have to change the name of my OBDII because have other than OBD.
Fortunately came with a HT-06 bluetooth and can acces and change name with AT commands with arduino, just have to connect the pins TX/RX and 3.3v and Ground from the HC-06 to arduino and with a simple code can change name on serial monitor. This is a great tutorial (not mine).

I have an Xtrons PF unit (GS). After updating to 1.61 as listed on the product page, I am now experiencing Bluetooth issues as well.
ODB Bluetooth adapter is shown in the pairing screen but repeated attempts to pair it fail without an error message.
Bluetooth pairs with my Nexus 6p but if calls are initiated from the handset, the Bluetooth phone dialer will crash.
Shame, as the rest of the OS seems snappy.

so wait, what was your MCU before where bt worked??

It was GS_1.29 I believe. Dated around the beginning of April but I didn't record the MCU version prior to the upgrade.
Is bluetooth handled by the MCU?

FH-P8000BT with integrated Bluetooth/external microphone. No Bluetooth adapters to buy. Mine was $230.00 delivered, prices have gone up slightly since I purchased.
Amazon Link
I am posting this because I know there are lots of people having big trouble with certain Bluetooth devices and the Nexus One. While this setup isn't perfect, it's seems to be working better for me than many people are experiencing with factory car Bluetooth installations, particularly in Nissans.
I installed a new head unit in my car today. I didn't have any way to play MP3's in the car, and I wanted to remedy that, and figured why not get something with an integrated bluetooth solution for phone and audio as well while I'm at it.
I picked a double-din Pioneer FH-P8000BT (with built in Bluetooth, but with an external microphone). It's no high end unit, but it has a decent amount of features for the price, and gets good reviews.
Amazon had it for $230ish, delivered.
Pros:
Pioneer syncs bluetooth for both music and phone with Nexus one.
Once paired initially, the Bluetooth connects automatically when the vehicle is started.
Bluetooth audio quality is much better than I expected for Bluetooth.
GPS NAV voice directions work well over car speakers with Bluetooth connection. This is welcome, as the Nexus One's built in speakerphone is not the greatest.
Phone has priority - incoming call switches to phone mode automatically, muting whatever else is playing.
Pioneer microphone for hands free works reasonably well. Typical muffling of outgoing phone audio.
The PAC adapter for steering wheel controls works reasonably well.
It's rated at 50W RMS, which I am sure is bull, but it's still punchier than the stock radio.
Being able to place the external microphone is a real plus compared to having a microphone built into the head unit. It allows for better placement, and since the mic uses a standard mono mini audio plug, it would be a cinch to replace with another to try to improve the sound. But it's unnecessary because the supplied mic works acceptably.
Cons:
Edit: I was able to finally sync the address book - with lots of persistance. Once synced, it retains the info and you don't normally need to resync each time you connect. Syncs fail most of the time.
No Radio preset buttons. You can scan between presets, but nothing resembling an old fasioned push me and go directly to this channel button.
The menus are less than intuitive - for example you have to read the manual to figure out how to set the clock unless you venture a very lucky guess.
There doesn't appear to be a way to shut the radio completely off. Edit: There is, by pressing and holding a multifunction button. There is no dedicated on/off button that is illuminated, which was the source of my initial confusion.
No bluetooth or radio voice dial capability.
Sometimes playback control through the head unit is lost, even if streaming is still working. If I reconnect, it comes back most of the time.
As I said, this is a lower end unit, so maqny of the cons are really a lack of features because I cheaped out. My biggest beef is the address book not syncing reliably - that really should just work. Most of my other complaints are about lack of controls, but what's there works pretty well. I've gained a lot of good functionality, it sounds good and overall, I am happy to have it. Hands free phone and music with plenty of volume and no cords is very nice. I have a car charger in the event I need the NAV. Now all I need is a good bracket to car mount the phone, and it will be a pretty complete solution for travel.
Note: I am using cyanogenmod 5.0.5.3, and have tested with stock ROM. You're BT experience may vary, especially if you're running something else.
attn1 said:
[*]So far, I haven't figured out how to get the address book to sync to make outgoing calls from the radio. This means that although it's a great hands free setup, you're still fiddling with the phone for outgoing calls.

Hi, on my car I have a pionner CD-BTB200 Bluetooth Adapter and I also had problems with the contacts. What I did was, create a vcard ( I think i did this vcard with microsoft outlook) with my top contacts, then I installed 2 programs in the nexus, the Astro file manager and the Bluetooth file manager.
Then with the astro I searched for my vcard and I send it to my car radio by bluetooth ( I had to put on the transfer mode on the radio first).
Now if someone calls me and if that person is on that list the name will apear on the radio, if not only the number.
Hope that can help you and sorry for my bad english.

Your english is fine for this purpose. Thanks for the tip. I'll give that a try.
Wel, I managed to sync my phonebook with it today, so now I can make calls without touching the phone. Sweet.
It's great to see that you got everything working properly. I have a Pionner headunit that's not too old, DEH-P710BT (last year's model) but I can't seem to get the a2dp audio working. It'll try to connect the audio and then fail. Phone works though. I figure it'd be pretty similar to your deck in terms of the bluetooth hardware and software that Pioneer uses. If you ever happen to go back to stock firmware on your N1, it'd be great if you could try again and let me know. I wonder if it's just a problem with my N1 using stock firmware. Just not sure if I want to root it yet and install cyanogenmod.

I am back to stock firmware at the moment. It works fine for the most part. Getting the address book to sync took several attempts and sometimes I can't control a2dp playback properly from the head unit. Most of the time it works fine. I haven't really noticed any difference between the stock firmware and Cyanogen 5.0.5.3 that I can put my finger on with regard to interoperability of Bluetooth and this head unit.
Maybe there is a firmware update from Pioneer for your unit?
Thanks for the awesome review and adding it to the Nexus One radio compatability list

Hi everyone. I'm new here. Great review attn1! I am very satisfied with it as well. I have this same exact head-unit and a2dp & phone calls worked perfectly. For example, I could be listening to a podcast on Google Listen, then a phone call would come in. I could then answer it, talk for a bit, hang up, then I Google Listen would resume.
Within the past few days however, I've been having some trouble. Not sure if you've experienced this or not. My BT connection would break. (It doesn't break with other phones) I can't determine what's causing the disconnect because I can't consistently get it to break. Sometimes it breaks in the middle of listening to some music. Sometimes it breaks just before I receive a call which bad because of the laws here in Cali.
The only thing that I did recently was install wifi fixer, but I later removed it. I felt like wifi fixer was messing with my bt... but I'm not completely sure.
On a side note, has anyone been able to get sound to stream over the BT connection? I'm not referring to having the head unit read and play music off the microsd, i can do that just fine. I'm interested if it can tap into the phone's main volume out so that I can hear everything (music, notifications, navigation directions). I could only get this to work a2dp but not through usb.
I'm running the stock 2.1 update 1 firmware.
No trouble with maintaining blue tooth connections on mine, and audio and NAV streaming works fine as well.

KIA MTCE px5 unit... bluetooth issues

Just bought a unit specifically for my Kia.
Its an OctaCor PX5 MTCE unit [based in what I've read MTCE and MTCD are the same, right?]
Everything works well with the unit except bluetooth. It won't discover or connect to any device. The device name and password fields in the BT menu are blank. When I change those fields and add something, it doesn't make a difference. Its just constantly "searching"
I've explored all of the differenr BT optiona in factory settings menu and ive tried installing BT managers from the play store and they don't work either.
I can't seem to find anyone else having this problem.
No matter what phone or tablet I use, it doesn't discover it.
What could the problem be?

The behaviour you describe is what I see if the wrong BT module is selected in the factory settings. If you have tried each BT module type, rebooted and then tried pairing via the BT app (not the BT settings) then its possible the BT module is faulty I guess?

How can I find out which adapter is in the unit?
Also, are the BT modules easy to replace... OR is there an option to add a new one via USB input?

I am not sure if its something that can be replaced as its either directly on the MCU board or a module soldered to it. I am sure if you post some pictures of the internals someone will be able to identify it for you.
I would try each one in the factory settings followed by a reboot and then test with the BT app.
I think several people have tried USB BT modules without success. BT is a bit of an odd one as Android isn't natively aware of the BT module in these units like a phone or tablet is. The BT utilities are propietary to the hardware and aren't the built-in Android ones.

This seems to be a Klyde (KLD) unit. I would put my bets on MD725 Bluetooth module type.
Do you remember what it was initially set to?
I guess you probably did the same mistake as most users do the first time. They try to pair Bluetooth devices using Android Bluetooth settings menu. This does NOT work with MTCD/MTCE units since Bluetooth is controlled by MCU. Neither do any of the Bluetooth management apps in Play store work.
You need to use the Bluetooth application which is installed on your head unit. It might be called "Bluetooth" or "Phone". On my KLD stock firmware it does have the green phone icon. Open the app and use it to pair your Bluetooth device (not only phones).
If it's not an MD725 my next bet would be SD968 Bluetooth module.
I've gone through every BT option in factory settings. The one thatbwas selected by default was the BC5 unless it was accidentally changed.
I'm using the stock bluetooth app to connect..
Still no luck..
Any other suggestions?

I confirm you're in the right app.
Did you try selecting MD725 module in factory settings and rebooting the unit? Then try again.
I had a problem with pairing the bluetooth module SD968. I bought on aliexpress the USB device. I installed factory settings in the BT section type-MD725. I have connected the device COMFAST Bluetooth4.0 + wifi 150 Mbps Wi-Fi Dongle RTL8723BU to the USB input DASAITA. The device overloaded, bluetooth and Wi-Fi started to work perfectly.

I shot the video in two parts: the first part, when Bluetooth is not included. This is the device status within 8 hours in sleep mode. The second part of the video as the bluetooth on the device after five hours, the device is in sleep mode.
This description of my problem, which I have given to the seller DASAITA : this is the first part of the video. Bluetooth is not working. The beginning of the video shooting is 7 hours and 8 minutes. After the last switch it took more than 5 hours. https://youtu.be/GOzM5bw9Z1E.
This is the second part of the video. Bluetooth working. Time is 19 hours and 46 minutes. After the last turn on the device, it took less than 5 hours. Turned on the device in 7 hours 04 minutes - Bluetooth not working. The device is switched on 11 hours 38 minutes-works bluetooth. The device is turned on 13 hours and 23 minutes-works bluetooth.
The device is switched on, in 16 hours 57 minutes-works bluetooth. The device is included in 19 hours 46 minutes-works bluetooth.

The bluetooth chip is right next to the point where the black cable (antenna) is soldered too. In fact there are two antenna soldering points there where your unit only has one antenna equipped. I can't read it on the chip but I think I can possibly spot the Realtek logo on it. Have a close look at the chip to the left of your PX5 SoM where the antenna is soldered to the board. I compared it to pictures I made from my one. The board layout of my KLD unit seems to be identical. However my Bluetooth chip is square, yours is rectangle shape. Take a close-up picture of the chip where the antenna is soldered to the board. It might be either Realtek RTL8723bu (which is MD725) or it's the SD-968 chip.
What I am not sure about is whether the module uses antenna diversity and/or which antenna is used for Bluetooth. My unit actually got antennas solered on both antenna connection points, yours only has one on the lower one. So perhaps it's an antenna issue which would explain why you don't get any connection.

Hi. I haven't tried other devices via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to connect to the multimedia device. The voice quality when talking on the phone via bluetooth better than the module SD968.

So I actually got it working. I noticed that the BT module appeard to be bent and loose. So i straightened it out and pushed the contact points bck in the board the best I could, and that did the trick.
Part of the board was chipped too in the same area.. i believe a screw or something may have hit it as it was right near a hole.
The only problem I have now is that sometime [every few days] the unit will appear to forget my steering wheel settings. When I open the key study, the selections are there but not working... so I have to set them again... why is that?

External volume knob button mapping

Hi all! Recently got an Android 8.0 based GS (XTRONS) unit, the TE706PL.
The main issue that I have with the unit is that it does not have a physical volume knob. I was OK with this when I purchased it as I planned on adding in my own. I have used an Arduino and a rotary encoder to 'replicate' a HID volume knob.
This is able to adjust the volume on my computer as well as on my Oneplus 3T with an OTG adaptor. However, when connected to the head unit, it does not work. I also tried connecting a standard USB keyboard to the headunit and found that all the keys work, including media play/pause keys, except volume up, down and mute do not function.
On the head unit, I used this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=innerlife.keyboard.multilanguagekeymapredefiner&hl=en to check, and found the inputs were correctly being read as 'MEDIA_VOLUME_UP' , etc.
I tried this on the stock GS Android 8.0 ROM as well as Malaysk's Android 8.0 PX5 ROM. Is there anything that can be done to allow this to control the volume?
Any help much appreciated!

Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately it's not quite what I'm looking for. His app allows you to control the built in microntek apps with a remote or media buttons. My media buttons are working fine, it's specifically Volume Up, Down and Mute which do not work (Android system seems to flat out ignore the input)
I was wondering if, as a potential workaround I could use an app to remap keyboard inputs to volume level inputs? I haven't been able to do this with Tasker so far.

Volume on our units is not controlled by normal media commands on android. Is controlled by the MCU and therefore by any microntek service.
Ask bose321 for support as he investigated this.

Try keycodes 273 (volumeUP) and 281 (volumeDOWN) from su.
If that works I can give you whole list

Thankyou!!! You saved me a lot of headscratching haha. My next step was trying to pull apart MTCManager to see what it could reveal....
Now... Tasker won't recognise my device is rooted, but that's a separate issue, may need to start a new thread at-least I know what I want to do is possible now.
Would it be possible to set this up using MTCD Tools? I'm very interested in figuring out how to configure this in mtcd tools.

I have a touch screen only (ISUDAR 7.1.2_GS PX3 2GB RAM) with no buttons at all and planned to do the same, so I'm interested in how this works out for you. My steering wheel does not have buttons, so I was going to replace it with one that does and see if it transmits on the CANbus because supposedly these ISUDAR units can adapt to it using the CANbus decoder box and app supplied with the head unit. If that didn't work on the vehicle harness my approach was to use Arduino to send CAN signals and read them with the CANbus decoder. I've not tried either yet, and am new to Arduino but seems possible. Do you have the CANbus decoder?
Also, does your unit have a SD card (or GPS) slot? Mine doesn't. If no, how/where did you place the flash files and start the system update to install the Malaysk ROM? I can't get much support from ISUDAR.

ISUDAR are a seller AFAIK, your MCU will tell you what unit you have.
ALL MTCD/E units can use CAN Bus even if they are universal units - the data for all supported MTCD/E vehicles is in all MTCD/E MCUs, so you do not need anything other than a CAN Bus decoder for your car and a loom from your headunit manufacturerrto attach it to (or you could make one). Once you have these 2 things you just set the CAN Bus type in factory settings and your SWC should work.

I don't have buttons on my steering wheel either. I also wanted to experiment with using CANBus signals to set the volume, but I was not able to find a reliable or well documented way to emulate canbus commands. In the end, I was able to get tasker to pick up the key inputs (Using AutoInput) and output the root command for changing the volume. I used an Arduino Pro Micro and the HID keyboard library to make an emulated keyboard input.
My device had a GPS slot only, but upon opening it I found that it had provision for an 'SD' slot. If you do not have a GPS slot there are other threads out there that might be able to help you, or if you are comfortable opening your device, see if it has the header to add one in yourself.

I'm still not sure which direction I will take but am interested in more details on this solution if you would share. I'm a noob at everything you mentioned above. It gives me another idea to create a multi function knob like a simplified version all the new cars have for infotainment control. Rotate for volume, push for mute/power, forward for Home, back for Back, etc.

ISUDAR got back to me and said to load it on an empty USB stick instead. The rear of the case does have an open area marked for mounting a SD slot just no hardware populating it. I just had the unit opened up last week and added a homemade button to allow hitting the power button inside without needing a paper clip. If I open it up again what am I looking for with respect to a header?
I'm pretty keen to hack and customize more but struggle finding all the knowledge bits to connect the dots spanning software and hardware.
Did you manage to resolve this issue?
I've got the same head unit and the same issue, did you find a solution to the problem?
Thanks

You need to be more specific, Xtrons are a seller not a manufacturer, there are no Xtrons units - units are identified by the MCU so you need to post that and the Andorid version youre running. There are also many guides to rooting.

Question Ekiy T900 (android 10, FYT, UIS7862) questions

Good morning! Newbie here with a new android head unit with some frustrating problems! I have a 2009 Lexus GX470 and I picked up an Ekiy T900 with climate controls from Aliexpress. GX470s with navigation have limited radio options unless you do a non navigation climate control swap because the nav models have climate controls partially integrated into the factory head unit. The radio has been pretty good and is definitely a nice upgrade from the factory head unit since it has carplay and bluetooth but it still has a few issues that I'm hoping someone here can help me solve.

First:
When first turned on, I had no audio. This seems to only be related to turning the car off and on as when the car stays on and I just reboot the unit, the audio functions properly. I can’t really remember how I figured this out but there was an app labeled “Car UI.” I clicked on it first and within the app is a radio, CD player, and something else, I forget. I clicked on the CD player and hit shuffle and then I all of a sudden started getting sound. It is not specifically the "shuffle" button, just hitting random buttons in "Car UI" gives you audio. I have no idea why this occurs but I have to do it every time I turn the car on. I can only assume that somehow this triggers the car amp? I have waited several minutes without pressing anything to see if it was just a time thing…but it wasn’t. I have also pressed lots of other buttons to see if that got me audio…but it didn’t. So for some reason you have to hit the Car UI button and go from there. This has been confirmed with another Reddit user who bought one at the same time I did. There is a factory setting for the amp which I turned on but it appears to have no play in this situation.
Video attached for reference:
Car UI/Audio
Second:
So I feel like this is pretty major considering this is an Android. I cant access anything Google related. Crazy right? I cannot log into ANYTHING google. Everything crashes at "checking info." Not just dedicated apps like Youtube, Play Store, etc but also if I try to log into Gmail when accessed through the browser. I also cant log in through the head unit settings. I have tried numerous fixes online such as deleting Chrome updates and updating Webview. I have also updated the head unit.
Video for reference:
Checking Info Crash Loop video
Apparently this is a super common issue with newer FYT units? I found some update files from other manufacturers that seem to be universal. I'll give that a whirl and report back.
Third/Final:
This is more of an annoyance rather than issue. the climate controls work great and have a clean UI. That being said, there is an issue with temperature adjustment. You have a full range of temperature selection but unfortunately it will only ever read “low” or “high.” Every time you press the button it most definitely changes the temperature a degree like it should, you just don’t get a specific degree reading. I don’t know why it does this or if it is 470/prado specific as I have seen similar radios with the same UI display degree changes (at least in Celsius).
Temp Control Video
And just in case this pops up when someone searches for GX470 radios, here is my review from ih8mud.
Review: Android H/U with Climate Control
Good morning everyone! Longtime reader, first time poster. I recently acquired a 2009 gx470 with navigation. I was super excited to get one of the “Tesla” screens…until I got one and realized how horrible they were. More on that later. Bear with me as I’m writing this on my phone while I have...

Also, can I update the mcu or change the firmware/UI/ROM? I’m using Agama which is fantastic but I’d like to change the factory UI to something better.
Has anyone else experienced this audio issue? I’m open to trying anything. This is really the only thing keeping this from being a fantastic unit.

Sorry to hear the unit has a number of bugs.
Curious, what did the reseller suggest, who is the reseller and what has your experience been with them from a support/afterwards perspective?
You might also find additional information in the other FYT threads, such as joyin FYT and that other oddball teyes badged units.

They sent an update that didn't work. So i tried the update posted in another thread, possibly in the Joying fYT thread. it worked to fix the google issue at least. There is still no update on sound but I now believe it to be a canbus issue. and theres no news on the climate control. I'd love to figure out the sound issue!
It is from Ekiy Autoradio Store. It is marketed as an Ekiy brand, not just the store. They are definitely trying to help but there is a language barrier that makes everything more difficult. But I'll give them credit for trying!
Does anyone know if I can use the canbus adapter box from a different radio or is that proprietary?

Hello friends, I got my EKIY T900 and i think that is fantastic, I take the voice and 360 panorama options
I have a question, maybe you can help me whi this
I haven't installed the 360 cameras yet, but I have one of these chinese caeras as backup cam for reverse
When i put my car in reverse, the T900 triggers the 360 panorama in reverse mode but as I didn't installed that cams yet, I don't see anything
The backup camera is connected to the yellow RCA behind the unit for this purpose.
I'd like to know "how to" deactivate the 360 view system to let the unit start the standard aux video application when in reverse
Can you help me with this ?, I mean deactivate the 360panorama software ?
Thanks in advance !

I have bought the same UIS786 unit for my Chevrolet Spark

Dual Cortex A75
Six Cortex A55
REAR CAMERA: BROWN wire called "Back" should be connected to PIN 6
STEERING WHEEL: PINK wire called KEY1 should be connected to PIN 16
STEERING WHEEL GND: Should be connected together with BLACK wire from PIN 14 to PIN 13
For the rear camera you have to take the +12v power directly from the rear light bulb.

And another problem: The USB device will be scheduled sporadically on / off, so that playing music or movies finds a ugly end. The USB device setting is 2.0 (there are only 1.0 and 2.0).

Question Problem with AA and Carlink fixed on my Navifly M700S

I write this post because i think it will help some users who will be in the same situation as me. However, i take this opportunity to thank @surfer63, @mariodantas, and others (who i do not mention) for the commitment they put into these units.
I have a NaviFly M700S 8-128GB 9", whose manufacturer id = 116 and the uiid = 4, with Simple Soft XP canbus mounted on a Peugeot 308 of 2012, purchased in August 2022 to which I provide internet through the hotspot of my Huawei P30. Since the first days of possession i can say that i am very satisfied with this unit, except for some functions of the canbus that does not allow me to see all the info/error on the screen and that I can not control the air conditioning from the screen of the unit. For the rest, everything satisfies me widely.
From the early days i had AA that worked with USB cable connection but not wireless. But I must say that I never used/tried it because at that time i was not interested in having it that much. I didn't mind that much because i use AA very rarely, i.e. when I do long distances by car. But i was a bit disappointed for the fact that i had a great unit and that i could not have all its potential available. However, seeing that my son with his iPhone 14 could connect wirelessly i tried to succeed too, also because reading in various posts/forums many people with Android smartphones succeed.
I then tried to install various versions of Carlink 2.0 to no avail. Thinking that the problem was due to my old firmware, i updated the unit with the latest Mekede firmware without getting the desired results. Finally, i also updated my Navifly with the latest Joying firmware without results; my P30 wouldn't connect wirelessly.
Thinking and thinking about this problem this morning i started watching various videos about Carlink and uis7268 and i had the enlightenment. I saw a video in which he showed how to get the "developer settings" in AA and from there i set the option "add wireless projection". After that the connection with my P30 worked wirelessly with AA.
So now, from home I can open Maps, enter a destination, activate Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on the phone and as soon as I get in the car AA activates on the M700S showing Maps and making me listen to the radio and / or mp3 music of the media player. That's great.
But now I have 2 problems:
1) with AA enabled, then with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled on the phone, the unit cannot have internet. If I turn on, the hotspot on your AA phone turns off.
2) in AA I can listen to the radio, mp3 from the media player but I can not listen to Spotify music, both because I do not have internet from the hotspot and because among the AA apps, Spotify is not there and I can not figure out how to put it.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Here are photos of the features of the unit.

Nothing to do, you're casting android auto wireless via wifi (some kind of wifi-direct) and you can't have both hotspot and wifi cast, annoying I know, but I don't see a solution for that, maybe someone here can help ?

Thanks for your post.
1) That is indeed exactly how Android Auto does that. It is your phone that is simply extending its simplified screen to the head unit. And in a car with real AA, you still can use the radio on the background (as I do use AA a lot in the rental cars I drive for my work)
2) Spotify should be there. I still don't like AA but in the past weeks I also experimented a little with it, and spotify on my phone, is immediately available on my head unit when I connect my phone. I did that via USB and not via wifi, but that should not make any difference I think. But anyaway: did you try that? Does Spotify show up if you use a USB connection?

I tried the USB connection and Spotify was absent. Except I did a test. I turned off both bluethoot and wi-fi on, restarted the unit, then on the phone I started Spotify. While Spotify was started, on the phone I activated both bluetooth and wi-fi, at that moment Carlink started on the unit and I had AA with spotyfy playing. Now it appears to me among the AA apps

I did that via USB and not via wifi, but that should not make any difference I think. But anyaway: did you try that? Does Spotify show up if you use a USB connection?

I can use the radio while carplay is connected in my headunit. Radio stops if I press play button to play music from Apple Music app.
In fact, I read somewhere (sorry don't remember) that this carlink 2.0 works much better with Apple CP than AA
For AA you have a paid solution in the Playstore, named: Headunit Reloaded

In fact Mario, my son with his iPhone had no problem and connected instantly.
As for me, I have no intention of spending money on AA, it is enough for me as it is if it works, for what little I will use it.
Small OT I have to see if I can get the unit to make calls, I haven't tried them yet. And I add that on my P30 I have never used "OK Google" and I even believe that it is disabled. Tomorrow I will try.
Spotify needs to be installed on your Huawei P30 to work with Android Auto.
Remember Android Auto is running the apps on your phone and not the Spotify app installed on the heat unit.
You may need to open Spotify before starting Android Auto.
I think the only way to have wireless android auto with internet access is to use a SIM in the head unit.
I don't think there's a way to have your head unit connected to your phones hotspot with Android Auto enabled.
Wired Android Auto works with hotspot enabled on your phone no problem.

Yes I have AA installed on my phone and I opened Spotify before setting the phone wi-fi and bluetooth. After that I finally have Spotify among AA apps..

Yes, you're right. But I don't want to spend money on another SIM. I will settle for using the internet when I don't use AA.
