[Completed] Trying to unlock Sony Xperia Z5C bootloader, but device not listed on Sony website? - XDA Assist

So I just bought myself a shiny new Xperia Z5 compact.
I went to the Sony Developer website but my device isn't listed (screenshot attached). No phones are listed in fact, just tablets. Can anyone else check to confirm this? Or might it be a location thing?
If it is a location thing, I'd really appreciate anyone who can help me get the key. I know how to do everything else, and I can just send my IMEI.
I checked the service menu in the phone and bootloader unlock is allowed.
Thank you in advance,
Cheers.

Solution
Just skipped on over to this page: http://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/email-verification/
May a mod kindly close or delete this thread?
Thanks

[Q] Sony Xperia Z3v Root

Hello, I am a recently new Android owner switching over from the iPhone. So rooting is a new thing to me. I have been looking for a way to root the Xperia Z3 (D6708) and I haven't really found a thread that tells me what exactly I am supposed to do or if it is possible. I was hoping that someone could tell me if it is possible to root the Z3 and maybe point me in the right direction. Thanks!
Edit: Is the Z3 the same thing as the Z3v? So if I find a thread about rooting the Z3 will it work for the Z3v?
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers.

[Completed] [Q] Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (SM-T237p)

So I've rooted this device several times and only once.... have I gotten the wifi to stay on.
But I decided to turn off the device and after that next reboot, the wifi was no longer allowing me to connect.
Attempting to turn on the wifi will freeze the device. I have no idea why it's doing this nor how I got the wifi to stay on previously.
Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
I have successfully rooted many devices and this is the only device that has given me this much stress.
I do not want to go back to stock again, KNOX over heats the tablet and Samsung devices are known to have
heavy bloatware. I just want this device running on wifi and block the mobile data option but that requires root.

that has not given a specific answer to this problem nor close this discussion, This issue needs a solution. I can not stress the importance on this request. Any time I ask a question generally I get re-directed to another post with in the vicinity of nowhere near the request and only to go back to square one. I just really need this issue resolved as soon as possible.
I have already search on this form

as well as this one.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/development/rom-sm-t237p-rooted-odexed-2015-04-11-t3079083
and still no solution was found.
Again please DO NOT re-direct me nor close this post.

Hi there,
First of all I think you need to read our sticky threads about the purpose of this XDA Assist Forum. Take a look bellow with highlighted words:
The mission of XDA Assist is to provide basic help to those who have tried searching but can't find what they are looking for and need assistance. This is not a "helpdesk" providing technical assistance but more to point you in the correct direction with your problem. Perhaps you can't find posts on how to root your phone, install custom recovery or maybe you have questions about how to navigate and use features on the site.
Our XDA Assist team will give you links to threads/forums that are relevant to your problem. You may be pointed towards guides and instructions that can be quite complex, so you will still need to read carefully and be cautious before attempting to make software changes to your device. It is essential you are in the correct forum for your device model; what works for one can ruin another.

Xperia Z5 E6653 "Bootloader Unlock: NO". Possible Workaround?

Hello Forum members,
___
So this is my first ever thread, forgive me if I make any mistakes.
About last month or so, I purchased a Sony Xperia Z5, E6653 Android 7.1 device, mainly with the intent to root it for the sake of some app development, and also for the fact I wanted to experiment a little before I concluded as to whether It was worth rooting my Pixel 2XL.
Whilst I may not be new to Android, I am relatively new to rooting an android device, having only just got my laptop working again.
___
So I went through the TWRP recovery files, flashed the system image and whatnot, and then I got to the stage that requires you to unlock the bootloader. To my dismay, nothing I did would make it unlock.
This is mainly down to my own stupidity, assuming that unlocking in developer options would make it accessible, as it has done on various other devices.
I later went through the system information (dialling the number in telephone) and found that my Bootloader is locked.
Obviously, the bootloader is there, and surely there is a way to access it.
I haven't personally contacted Sony yet, I had planned to come here first.
As this particular device was bought primeraly to root, wiping save data etc is not a massive issue for me, plus I am willing to try literally everything.
___
I don't know if anyone here would have an answer, and I highly doubt Sony will be of assistance either.
My thanks for reading this far through the thread, and any help is appreciated
Cheers!
