(Request) S5 Marshmallow camera for S7 Ports - Galaxy Note 3 Themes and Apps

I was able to push the S5 Marshmallow camera to the Darkwolf's S7 port with everything working except slow motion. Can anyone of you fine gentlemen help me find out a way to get the slow motion feature working by directing me to libs or other apps that may need to be pushed to the system to get slow motion working on the S7 ports.

Hi !
I'm not able to help you I am not a dev but I 100% support you in your work because I use a lot lot !

Sorry I no longer have this device.

Is there anyone still waiting for the answer like me?
I need a full working camera for s7 port. It really smooth but lack of some feature in camera like stock one and slow motion.
I remember the stock one when u hit shot button it take so slow but the quality is very good (compare to all update later).
Can anyone fix this thread trouble or can anyone teach me how to install the original camera app in the 4.2.2 rom on the note 7/s7 port rom?
Thanks!!

S5 MM camera.
@mookiexl
Maybe, this help you.
On firmware, which I using, slowmotion working fine, but 60 FPS and selective focus not...
Also, animated photo, sound photo and virtual tour working fine.:highfive:

Motorla camera (manual mode working)

I found that motorola g5 camera takes great pictures and is fully compatible with our device and custom roms. I have used it and all it's modes.
There was no professional mode(manual mode) in it so i edited the apk and enabled it for our device. Download the attached apk and install it directly. You can move it to system if you want to enable save in sdcard. It will work without root too. I can add more phones if you ask me.
Devices added:
1.Redmi note 4(mido)
2.Redmi note 3
3.Redmi 3s
Ask for more.
Press thanks!
Took the apk from here and enabled manual mode for our device.

First this is not the section for the apk tread.
Second this camera is design to work whit laser auto focus. The picture are not so focused like stock camera.
And the last third the video autofocus is really bad.
For me i got omnivi vison sensor and all futures work.
But the focus is really bad.

It works perfectly for me. WITHOUT the laser autofocus too. Might be because i have the sony sensor. Also i posted this because the professional mode helps me take some great pictures. Try it on a device with the sony sensor. There isn't any camera that can match the quality of the stock miui camera obviously. But I'm on a custom rom so i cannot use miui camera. Others can try it and see if it works for them. Also sir i don't know where to post it so if you can help me and move it to an appropriate section, then I'll be grateful. Thanks
Camera is good
For me camera is working fine.If someone is adding value to the redmi note 4 group,we should support them. The way you are replying to him is like a school boy getting jealous of fellow classmates.

Great to see it worked for both of you. I personally feel it to be better than the snap camera pre loaded in custom roms i so i though i would share it. The manual controls work great. I have camera2 enabled. Just waiting for xiaomi A1 rom so we can try to get it's camera.
Ok in my redmi note 4 sd. install and run

Wow as a first quick test it's the best camera app I've used so far between LOS camera, Google Camera and OpenCamera.
If only storage wasn't greyed out and set to phone - aka supported the SD card, that would be awesome.
PS I'm trying this on an RN3 SD

What's wrong with the second photo?
EDIT: Never mind, the phone on the stand was hard to notice
Is everything else working including slow motion? And is there any lag compared to the unmodified systema's camera speed? Cause I've experienced those in 7.0, and a lot of crashes

I worry that the Pixel camera is not optimized for the Mi A1. Are there any comparison shots to see if there is a difference in picture quality?
PS: I know that I am suggesting that the current camera app is optimized, which is a little ludicrous if you consider the low light performance

The current stock (A1) camera is a king in daylight. Both rear and Portrait ... But in low light its not. Pixel camera won there. .. For example if u like to take a Portrait shot in extremely low light in A1 then Pixel Camera will help. With Flashlight also....
I don't have any comparison shots now. But i can tell u its worth. 200% worth

This is great news, thank you! It makes me hopeful that the low light performance in the vanilla version of the A1 will improve significantly with software updates... fingers crossed
This is Epic! It's wonderful how Google proves to be a portrait maestro without dual cameras!!
Same lights (none) and still portrait mode acheived with flash from front camera. I am so happy to have a phone running on Oreo and to have stumbled upon this post. Thanks.

Is this worth installing? Any improved features etc?
It starts and is able to capture pics on OOS OB2, more than GCAM so I'll give it a try.
Works flawlessly, except video recording in normal mode.

Thanks for this. I can say that, surprisingly, the photos look better than the ones taken with the OnePlus camera.
Just informing everyone I don't think this app works on non-OOS roms. Hopefully a port or magisk module will make it a reality.

Yaaay I think with this too https://www.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-releases-kernel-sources-for-the-xiaomi-mi-mix-2s/ we are ready to get perfectly stable ROMs
Will need a working Gcam Mod for this to be worth the switch. If you leave MIUI, you're going to lose all the dual lens stuff and camera software processing.

I imagine that would need some kind of hybrid ROM, as it's tied to MIUI resources.
Yeah, the camera part sucks so hard. I would love to ditch MIUI (although the gestures are fantastic). But one of the reasons I upgraded from a Mix 2 was to get the much improved camera. Hope they find some solution soon.
Mi6 still doesn't have a great solution. We're using the old ass port from mi a1. Maybe once the mi a2 comes out there's gonna be an improved ported version.

It's really a pain since huawei devices are getting damn near perfect ports, since I guess their camera apps aren't as closely bound to emui.

any news?
Good morning, very very long time xda luker here, years in fact, so thought I would jump in and join this topic.
Obviously like most of us I've loved using the gcam port on my SM-A530F and now after the 9.0 update I had to go back to the stock samsung camera. So did a bit a of looking around and found this.
MGC_6.1.021_BSG_Arnova_TlnNeun_1.2_test_fix_Exynos.apk
It works. Well I say works, it's extremely buggy, so maybe someone here with a little more knowledge than me can have a play around with it and hopefully (fingers crossed) get it usable.
I'm getting hard restarts when you take a second photo while hdr is processing and in low light conditions it will sometimes crash.
From what I've seen, though I could be wrong and my settings need a tweak but you can't use flash, you can't use front facing camera, and you can't enable motion photo.
Also sometimes when processing hdr it will freeze and you will have to force close and start again.
I'm only after a decent hdr+ back camera, I don't realy care that the front isn't working as to be honest the stock a8 camera is fine for a selfie etc.
Thanks guys, I hope this has helped a little or it might not help at all, but I thought I would share this as it's a version of gcam that doesn't crash on startup and does take photo's we'll sometimes it takes photos. ??

The version I mentioned above does the same, you have to go to settings then back to photo before you can take another shot and also wait for hdr processing to finish.
