Hi everyone, I'm quite new to here. I rooted my phone a while back & enabled knox security which ended up causing it to get stuck in a bootloop.
CWM is damaged, it says E: Unknown, or it says things are disabled like adb sideload etc. I'm really stumped!
I'm not sure where to begin, I've tried Samsung kies, odin, a few other programs, none of which have worked at all.. Is there no way I can flash TWRP to it somehow? I'd really LOVE some help, I can't afford a new phone.
Any help is really appreciated!! Thank you!

I ran into some problems with my LG G2 / D802 and attempted to fix them, but I have made the problem much, much worse. There is absolutely no chance of me fixing it.
I am going to send my device back under warranty, but I have TWRP installed on it. Is there any way I can get TWRP / get stock recovery back so it looks like nothing was ever there ONLY using adb. I cannot boot into the OS, and TWRP freezes and doesn't work. ADB seems to be my only option.
Although the following option really is not preferible, if that can't be done, is there anyway I can damage my phone to the point that the tech support won't be able to tell it had TWRP on it, and therefore just look like the software failed.
Thanks for you help....I really am lost as what to do.
Hi,
I suggest you ask for help in your device section,
LG G2 > G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
And I also suggest you not ask further questions about intentionally destroying your device and commit warranty fraud any more than you are already attempting to do. Most members here will not help you with that.... And it's a good way to get your posts deleted or worse. ?
Good luck!
Thank you. Thread closed.
Ok, so, I lost my previous phone and I really dont have the money to get a new one, so Im forced to use this thing.
I rooted my phone ages ago and it ran just fine. Now I tried to install busybox because some app requested it and I used this (play.google)/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox&hl=en app to do it. It failed to install it to the first directory but succeeded on the second, and then I rebooted my phone and its in bootloop. Tried to reset thru the stock recovery but it didnt work.
I can access download mode and (stock) recovery just fine, so i think i need to flash the stock rom with odin or something. I just dont know what exactly should i search for, this is pretty old phone and I cant find anything reliable from google. So i hope you guys can tell me what should i do. Thanks!
Phone model: Samsung GT-S5690 xcover
OS: Stock with no updates, rooted
bump
Hi there,
Sorry but on XDA I don't find any threads that share stock firmware for GT-S5690. Please ask here for more relevant answers:

So you might be familiar with LG's newest budget phone the LG Lancet but I bet a lot of you haven't even heard of the phone. I had attempted to root the phone with kingroot and it worked perfectly. I then wanted to get SuperSU instead of kingroot for obvious reasons so I had downloaded an apk known as Super-Sume and after I had restarted my phone it would not boot into android 5.1., instead it was stuck in a bootloop and I had to factory reset. Now when I start the phone, it boots into the startup but it just says "Please wait while we prepare your phone" forever. I don't really know what to do since this phone is so uncommon. I mean, you can't even find a damn unboxing video on youtube! Again, this is the android version of the phone and not the windows version (obviously). I have access to a computer and I have an sd card in the phone if needed. I just need instructions on how I can possibly fix this phone since it's so hard to find any sort of stock rom for it or any information on it in general. Thanks

Hello,
I'm trying to fix my sons tablet, it's a Vivitar XO tablet.
There are no roms/custom recoveries made for this tablet that I can find.
I'd be fine trying similar device roms until the device works/bricks but nothing I've tried works.
I've tried CWM and TWRP for several devices with no success.
I've tried ADB with no success (I can see device, but it always fails)
I've tried installing from external SD but that always fails.
I can get to the recovery but most, if not all, Android apps are non functional because of the stupid "XO locked software". I cannot get to device settings nor can I see the device as a USB device unless it's in ADB.
My goal is to have a custom ROM like CM, but even a ROM to just start the dang thing in Android would be better.
I've tried the cyanogenmod installer, but it is down and won't load. I've tried a program called SP Flash Tool but I can't find/make a scatter file.
If there's anything I can be doing different, please let me know.

Has anyone every tried installing on a tablet such as this?

Hi everyone, after a long couple of days tracking down everything I thought I needed to finally root my first attempt was utter failure. Lucky I still have a phone. Any pointers would be majorly apreciated. I gathered what I thought I needed for a clockwork mod recovery environment. Tracked down all the software and drivers from Motorola, carbon, etc.. Yet there was always something wrong. Corrupt file here. Missing driver there, not reading the tether with helium. Google and all his mothers throwing up roadblocks everywhere. By passing all that to finally pulling the reboot trigger around 3 am this morning and failure. I have no clue what I did wrong. Any takers on this? Thanks in advance……… .Moo
