If my battery is not seated perfect I can't boot my phone, anyone knows what could cause this,i am using an anker battery but it even happens with the stock battery
I think some suggested to put some aluminium to fill the gap or thin foil not sure which one was it.. its because you have a small gap between the contacts ..

If you want to order it right away (but from China): http://www.ebay.com/itm/15143601070...49&var=450625889118&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
Otherwise, it's not yet available to order (neither through Samsung directly nor a 3rd party retailer).

Does anyone know (or can find out) if the official K1 shield cover will fit the original generation Shield? My original cover has just broke on me and the K1 is a lot cheaper (and widely available!)
Thanks
Do you have a link?

Never mind, I found it. Hard to tell if it is the same.
Hi,
http://shield.nvidia.co.uk/store/tablet-cover
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/nvid...ATV-CAMPAIGN-Q3-Google-co-uk-search-ad-2-Text
The original cover doesn't appear anywhere. Might be this one on the amazon web site http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nvidia-SHIE...450084305&sr=8-2&keywords=shield+tablet+cover
Thanks!
Jez
Yes, it fits
In case anyone is wondering I bit the bullet and just bought the K1 Shield Cover, it is exactly the same as the Tablet cover but half the price. It fits perfectly, all three viewing angles work, the auto screen on / off works perfectly.
I cracked my rear camera glass cover. Is it sold separately or do i need to replace the entire camera unit? Any recommendations for moto g3 or generic phone repair kit?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-MOTOROLA-MOTO-G-2015-3RD-GEN-XT1548-MID-FRAME-CAMERA-LENS-HOUSING-/131687092483 Use some heat to remove the new one from the frame and heat up yours while not getting glass on the sensor on yours. Or just use the whole new subframe.
does it affect the picture? if not, leave it alone.

crazy motorola. i have to buy the entire housing. there's a cheaper silver one. retarded design. Can i use a heat gun without taking the phone apart? I don't see how it's possible. I can't even pry the stupid accent off.

no doesn't. but glass may break completely. the crack is worse than it looks.

if glass breaks then replace it - don't touch it until it does. But buy the phone suggested above for the spare part.
Looking closely at it I would guess you would have to take everything apart to get at it. You can experiment with the replacement phone.

i don't feel like experimenting. don't want to make things worse. thought i could just replace the glass like in all normal phones.
my bet is that the glass is a mm or 2 larger than the opening

doesn't look like it
Look at this
https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Motorola+Moto+G3+Teardown/56195
part way down they remove the camera. It looks like the glass is part of the camera - ie sealed when camera is made.

I did remove the metal cover on mine - it is very hard - strong double-stick tape - do it slowly and gradually.

there's a few of these on fleabay. You'll probably need a cheap heat gun to get the screen off.http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-Motorol...443701?hash=item3f772e02b5:g:fKAAAOSwsW9YwHT3

looking at the pics seems like after step 2 i would try to pry the old glass cover and install the new, if i can pry it from the new housing in one piece without cracking.

yes it's definitely part of the housing. it's not part of the "accent" and not part of the camera.

yeah probably plastic. I was very careful when I removed it so just pressed it back on. My case would keep it from falling off if loose. Do not impart any bend to it or it won't lie flat.

curious. help you out.
Ok let's start out by saying I work as a mechanic so my phone get put through hell from being dropped regularly to bring splashed with oil and greese and some brake cleaner from time to time... So far this case has held up to all of it...
Pros:
*Case is light weight for the most part
*Wireless charging works flawlessly unlike other cases I've used
*The sound port to make speakers front firing is amazing great sound
*Great protection for the phone
*Magnetic phone mounts work great as well (if you position the plate correctly you can keep wireless charging as well)
Cons:
*Can be difficult to install the first time but after that no issues at all
The cases feels great in the hands and fits the pixel 4 xl perfectly... The lip to protect the screen isnt to bad I personally thought it would bug me
but its not to noticable.... I would recommend this case to anyone looking to get a case for there pixel...
Too bulky for my taste, makes the phone look like you're carrying a brick. Much better cases out there for example the below.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XLNB6RN/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_98P2Db0MFFX98
I think this will offer equal protection in a thiner profile.
I went with a trusted brand that I always use and have never had damage from a drop with any phone I have put into their case : https://www.tech21.com/en_us/protection/google/pixel-4-xl
