This is my first rom for galaxy core GT-I8262.
And.......
This is the first ever
MARSHMALLOW rom for our core with SAMSUNG'S Touchwiz UI.
This rom works flawlessly and i am testing my for about 3 months and i am happy to say that i didn't noticed even a single bug (because it is a stock rom modded to get marshmallow theme).

NOTE: I am not responsible for bricking your device. First Do a nandroid backup before flashing so that incase if anything goes wrong, then you can revert it back.
HOW TO INSTALL THIS ROM:
1.) Download the zip file and paste it in root of the sd card.
2.) Boot to Custom Recovery.
3.) Wipe
4.) Wipe cache Partition.
5.) Wipe Dalvik cache.
6.) Go to install zip > from sd card > choose my zip file > flash.
7.) Reboot the phone. As it will reboot with this rom for the first time, it will take usually 5 to 10 minutes to boot for the first time.
8.) Most important part, ENJOY THE ROM !
NOTE: Accuweather widget has a white background. To make it transparent, just search your location by GPS or manually select your city by searching. Once the Weather Info gets loaded for the first time, the background gets changed to transparent permanently.

Helo sir, i think their is something error in this rom. The "boot.img" in this rom file may be not supported.
i download twice but in both files have same problem with that file .
so plz check it out sir.

Make sure that you download keyboard for Exactly android 4.1.2 (it will not work even with other JB variants such as 4.3.x or 4.2.x
so, make sure that it is compatible with Jellybean) and also the rom is deodexed. So, download the keyboard for deodexed rom which is compatible with 4.1.2 version.

Sir its the stock rom. I just turned it into deodexed format (themeable format) and custom themed it to great extent for marshmallow. Therefore, its the stock boot.img. Even i am using it for 3 months and i didn't faced any issues. Can you please tell me about what exactly issues you are experiencing? I will try to resolve it within two days.

I installed it via twrp recovery. For link, search on google = twrp recovery install tutorial for galaxy core.
Changing font color for some menu items and notifications
Thank you for the awesome ROM. I think it is working fine. I am just interested whether there is a way to
1. remove S Finder and Quick Connect buttons and
2. change font color for notifications and some settings menu items ( Home screen mode... ) as current font is too light grey on white background.

Sorry for inconvenience. It looks like you have not cleared cache partition well as well as the dalvik cache.
Try installing with philz touch recovery. Before installing, go to mounts and storage, format cache, format data and format cache partition.
Then go to wipe cache partition and repeatedly wipe it until it stops showing errors and shows "cache wipe complete."
After that, go to wipe data/factory reset, click on "select to install a new rom". After it completes, Go to advanced> wipe dalvik cache. Then go to install zip, make sure that the "verify zip MD5 SUM" and "signature verification" checkboxes are not checked, then go to choose zip from sd card, choose my rom and flash it and then restart your phone. It will restart without any bootloop or problems.

If you can get it downloaded without Ilivid wanting to infest your system....
Gave up after 10 minutes and having popups for various dating sites, these file hosting services are getting unusable.
maybe the internet just hates me this morning.

try the bayfiles option, eventually after fending off ilivid, 2 more popups for poker888 and someone alive called jasmine the download appeared, it sad an estimated time of 3 hours but chrome says 6..... as i type it now says 10....
if it gets here i'll skydrive it
looking forward to trying it as i like stock roms and a stripped one has got to be better with unused bloat removed.

now have turbo bit version going, a respectable 2hrs on that one.....
None of my moans are at the rom, just the sorry damn state of file-sharing these days

It's reccomanded but not needed u can only format cache e dalvik, if u don't want a full wipe!!! Backup first as always. :good:

Wiped cache dalvik and system and flashed. Everything is working fine and feeling greater battery life! Awesome work man!

How did u flashed it?? Odin or CWM. When i extracted the zip folder three sub folders can be seen. Plz guide on this.

Via cwm. Leave it as .zip and go to cwm and choose flash zio from sd card and select it. At the end i wiped data to change csc but i feel is really not necesary.
1-wipe data/factory reset from cwm
2-wipe cache
3-wipe dalvik
4- go to mounts and storage
5- select wipe system
6- flash zip reboot and enjoy.
This is a really wonderfull rom to be honest! Donation as soon as i can
Nice to have it a clean rom. Im pretty tired to delete everything manually all the time.
Any way please don't forget to add back apk witch is responding for Quick Glance (in motion selection)

Tested. Battery life is better. Flashed rom at 2am, left it just like that with wifi on and it is 8am now. 10% drain. Better than official firmware.

No offence and no disrespect towards your efforts but the first thing anyone would be interested in knowing is what all has been done to the stock ROM. I definitely want to try this out but without proper information (and enough feedback), I won't try.
And I believe there are people like me who are just waiting to get more details before jumping the gun.
Can i use this on the AAJL3 ? and is this 4.1.1 or 4.1.2(Latest) I hope i can flash this i miss stock..a bit.

INSTALLATION PROCESS--
FOLLOW EACH & EVERY STEP CAREFULLY
Download "Y_DROID_ROM.rar"

[*]Remove Any SD Card from your Y2

Never delete the 2 files (1)Y-DROID_v1.0_Riju95.zip & (2)uImage_recovery [ from SDcard. Those are needed to solve this.
If the your Y2 is freezed at bootscreen, It will take ONLY 4 minutes to get rid of it.
Any of you data (Apps, Songs, Videos, Settings of app, Wallpaper, Photos, Folders, Contact,... etc.) will NOT be deleted, Your Y2 will be restored as it was just before the boot freeze.
Follow these steps--
This method works for every Y-DROID Rom user. The rom must be installed in the device. Do NOT clear cache or data in this process.
1)Insert the SDcard with those 2 files
2)Press POWER BUTTON + VOLUME DOWN KEY
3)You will be booted in CWM recovery
4)Choose update from SDcard

Download "Y_DROID_ROM.rar"
[*]Extract "Y_DROID_ROM.rar" by WinRar or 7zip
[*]After Extracting you will get two files.. (1)Y-DROID_v1.0_Riju95.zip & (2)uImage_recovery [DO NOT Rename/Extract THESE FILES]
[*]Copy them both to a SD Card [Do not insert it in Y2 now, wait..]
[*]Remove Any SD Card from your Y2
[*]Now boot in Stock Recovery by Pressing POWER BUTTON + VOLUME DOWN KEY
[*]Wipe data / factory reset
[*]Now hold the POWER BUTTON for a few seconds untill it shut down
[*]Now insert the SD Card and press POWER BUTTON + VOLUME DOWN KEY
[*]This time you will be booted into CWM Recovery [DO NOT USE THE Wipe Data/ Factory Reset OPTION IN CWM, IT WILL DELETE THE 2 FILES FROM SD Card & DO NOT MOUNT DATA or SYSTEM.]
[*]Go to Advanced, and Wipe Dalvik Cache
[*]Go back
[*]Choose zip from sdcard
[*]Select Y-DROID_v1.0_Riju95.zip
[*]Install....
[*]Go back
[*]Reboot

can try to make the rom lighter?!! remove maybe some of the launchers... also add google play services apk its available online....also the root sometimes fails you might wanna look into that!!!!!!

Thanks a lot for your response. I will add Play services, and remove MiHome, iPad, and apex. The next version will have more features & tweaks, And it will be lighter.
You said earlier that the rom was freezed while booting. So please let me know how the problem were solved???? As I've mentioned that Y-DROID rom installed smoothly on my Y2. So, i really need to know what was the problem and how did you solve this??
And please explain the root failure problem, I didn't notice that problem with my rom. So please tell me about it...

the root just stopped working!!!! Anyway!! Boot freeze has no solution!!!! reflash the rom thats it!!!!! I feel there is a problem on that internal memory chip!!!! if the boot can be routed through sd card maybe it will work!!!!!

Turn the tab off by keep pressing the power button!!!! Then as you have said...go into cwm install the ROM!!!

i mean received time playing sound massage not in display is

now 2nd problem battery charging is very slow long time up to battery percenteg

Select Install and then search and select The Astra_Dream_S8_UX_ROM_v3eX_G901f.zip wich you downloaded
Follow The Aroma Procedure
Choose your Wipes during Aroma installer [I suggest always a clean flash!]
When Aroma Installation have ended, reboot your phone
When the Setup Wizard Appears, complete it with your personal setup
When the TW home boots after ending Setup Wizard, reboot to the Recovery Mode
Download and flash the Nougat_Style_Addon_3.0 Fix COLOR Clock.zip
Reboot And Let The Phone Start, it will take a few minutes[Be PATIENT]

The first you have to install CPI1 or CPI4 Bootloader
Later Modem
Using the latest odin version
Download the ROM and put it in your External Storage
Boot your phone in recovery mode and Wipe: Dalvik/Art Cache, System, Internal,Data, Cache, Preload
Select Install, Select The .zip
Follow the Aroma Procedure
At Aroma end untick the reboot option
Reboot and let the phone start, it will two times in splash screen, don't interrumpt the procedure!
Follow the instruction illustrated on welcome screen
All the neccesary things are in MEGA! Go below!
To avoid problems, we recommend:
- Clean installation (previous ROM stock)
-TWRP 3.0.2 or 3.1.1-2, TWRP 3.2.1.0 No work fine.
-Wipes: Cache Dalvik Cache, System, Data (I recommend from TWRP to manually delete the "Android" folder in SDCARD)
-Reboot into recovery again
-Install ROM, save LOG even though there is no error (Check later if everything was correct)

The rom has build with ronflex kernel yet or we can installation it after flashing rom on twrp?
The rom is auto root or we have the choice on aroma installer.
I'm on norma note 7 v16 rom, I must do a full wipe?

Supersu no, Magisksu [emoji5]
You can uninstall magisk and install supersu if you prefer, but we don't recommend.

Installation1. First download all the files below
2. Now backup your data and SD card (Because after partitioning SD card your SD card's data will be wiped)
3. Reboot in recovery
4. Flash cwm.zip
5. Now go to advanced> Partition SD card
6. Choose option, recommened options below-
.If your SD card is 2gb then choose 256mb or less
.If your SD card is 4gb then choose 512mb or 1024mb or less
.If your SD card is 8gb then choose 2048mb or less

7. Now let it complete
8.Now flash Twrp 3.0.2-1.zip
9.Now reboot recovery!

13.Now install all the boosters (Remember to mount system and data before installing them)
14. Reboot system!
15. Now it will take 2-10 boots
16. Now go to Nova settings>Backup and restore> Restore> choose Nova
17. Go to Material status bar > enable Notification> Switch on> choose panal theme (Do not choose "O" if you have Nav bars enabled) now it will force close. Now open it again and switch it on by pressing on the big circle and close it.
18. Enjoy

1. Download vidcam and applock.zip and extract it. Now install the apk files in it!
2. If vidcam shows black screen then again install the vidcam apk inside the vidcam and applock.zip
3. To make vidcam work open it go to settings>Audio Quality>Choose 11Hrz

Download the ROM again and flash it. By mistake I gave the not working one . But now I have fixed the link now download it
again and flash!
After these flash all the boosters!:highfive:x

I ment installation field. The new upload you put it seem to be better. No error and the installation completed. but after I restart the device , the boot screan completed . the screen become black and no system come and it slept with the black screen.
I thnk this is my issue in installing the rom and I need your gouid.
I ahve 1 G card and I did the following.
1- flashed the orginal rom by Odin
2. Reboot in recovery
3. Flash cwm bla bla.zip
4. go to advanced> Partition SD card
5. Choose option -
choose 128 for the ext and 0 for the swap
6. I removed the card from the phone and connect it to the PC and copied the files again
7.I flash Twrp 3.0.2-1.zip
8. reboot recovery!
9. go to wipe>advanced wipe and select /data and /system
10 - installed the rom and it completed withou error
11- I dont have booster files as the download link above not working ( assuming that the system can start without it)

Did you wipe data and system? If No then wipe it and re flash the rom! If yes then download the boosters (I have fixed the links) and flash them with data and system mounted
Still the black screen after the boot ( oreo ) screen. As I told you it maybe that I miss somthing?
Once I flashed the orginal rom everything fine and smooth ( Odin), but once I flash custom rom ( your rom) I have this issue. I didnt flash any custom rom before for this device so maybe I miss anything. do you have video for the installation process?

Hi i've tried this beta on my sgy, followed the instrctions and it was a success. First it wont boot even after so many times but when i remove my sim card it boot normally, insert my sim card and then it was stuck on logo so i need to remove my sim to make it work. Anyway goodwork on this one, its good i cant wait for the stable build to finish. Thumbs up guys! :good: :fingers-crossed:

Hey buddy this is not my rom's problem it's cm11 problem. To fix it do this:-
.Flash the rom (as you already did)
.let it boot (remove Sim card)
. After it boots then go to download mode
.Now flash the CSC and PHONE/MODEM file of your region and let it complete!!!
.Your sgy will run the rom with no SIM errors!!!

Did you insert a Sim card? If yes then remove it and switch it on!!!
If it switched on then there is a problem. To fix this problem
.Flash the rom
.go to download mode
.flash CSC and MODEM/PHONE file
.Now it should work with SIM also

Buddy it might not depends on the performance of our device because this being a low end device it has like 80% chances of running WhatsApp it should run it though but because of the heavy update it might not the splash screen they added decreases the chance of running i will see if it works.
