hi friends i have s6 g920v which is converted on g920f from china i dont know, today i was trying to put g920v marshmallow but its not accepting that firmware always giving error on system.img
File analysis... OK
Total file size: 0x0817E6A0 (129 Mb)
Searching USB Flash Interface... detected COM142
Setup connection... OK
Set PIT file... OK
Reading PIT from phone... OK
Sending sboot.bin... OK
Sending cm.bin... OK
Sending boot.img... OK
Sending recovery.img... OK
Sending system.img... error timeout
Done with Samsung Tool PRO v.25.3
one thing is that when system.img is flashing always shows 70 mb partition size than error

Try another cable. Also, if that doesn't help try another PC. It should re partition using the pit file. If all else fails try the 920f odin file but not sure if it will boot. Should not change odinmode though so you can always come back to the update you are on if it fails to go.

SM-P905 32GB Pit File
I accidentally check re-format in Odin when updating my Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 LTE to Lollipop, so I really need a pit file. I cannot boot into recovery mode to try the fix suggested here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2767414. Kies fails when trying Firmware Upgrade and Initialization and the Recovery Code box is empty so I can't try Firmware Emergency Recovery. I have searched the internet for a pit file and I can't find one anywhere, anything that looked promising had dead links. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am going to try this one now. Have the same problem. Will update
http://free-downloads.z3x-team.com/2. Samsung files/Firmware/SM-P905/
Seemed to have fixed it. Used the HIDDEN .pit file in the above link
P905 Pit File
I used the method here: http://www.droidviews.com/how-to-extract-pit-file-from-samsung-galaxy-devices to extract the pit file from a SM-P905 32GB running this stock 5.0.2 rom from Sammobile: PDA P905XXUABOD7, CSC P905AUTABOD7. Hope it helps! File link: https://app.box.com/s/or5cpasqg2ijwgywfm7fqdh07ml4ub8y
The PIT is not found. Please can you share PIT file for P905? I am needing it..

[Q] P3100 8GB flashed with PIT for 16GB

Hi Guys,
i get myself to serious trouble. I am looking for help.
description:
I had some problems with flashing new rom to my GT-P3100 8GB.
I was looking for solution and ended up with corrupted filesystem.
I discovered that only solution is to re-partition my device.
Sadly i used wrong PIT file. I flashed accedentaly PIT file for 16 GB version.
Problem:
Tablet is communicating. I can connect with ODIN, wtih Heimdall, i can get into download mode, i cant connect with Android Studio.
I am no able to succesfully flash no ROM (incl. stock rom from Samsung). Flash of rom is partial, can boot into "encryption unsuccessful" screen
Cant flash again with PIT file for P3110 8 GB version (ODIN says fail). P3110 is WIFI version.
Is solution to this situation delete everything from internal SD card and the re-partition?
Do you have any ideas, please?
I believe that this is not hard brick, because i can communicate with device.
I trying to solve it for three days already without luck.
Problem solved!
I managed to find proper PIT file for GT-3100 8GB version.
After re-partition with help of ODIN all flash went well..
Both PIT files in attachments

Nand Write Start Fail.

Can i use the option nand erase all in odin? If not someone please provide me with a pit file for my S6 SM-G920W8. I cannot flash boot loaders and anything else besides twrp.
You need to have same or newer bootloader version for your phone. Thats all.

Galaxy S6 Flat SM-G920W8 Flashing Error. Nand Write Start, FAIL! I dont know what top do,
My question is if i can flash G920F's Modem and Bootloader on my G920W8?
And why does it not say nand write start fail when i am flashing twrp?
why are you trying to flash a g920f to g920w8???
You should use the same firmware for your phone to prevent issues.
Rrgarding with your last 2 posts, it is contradicting, you mentioned you cannot flash anything besides twrp, but you followed it that you failed in flashing twrp.
If you encountered with flashing firmware, I suggest to use a G920W8 firmware that is latest. I assume you are using an old firmware. Tell us your current and your firmware you are flashing.
Where did you get the twrp version? Are you sure it is not corrupt? A valid ODIN file? .md5 or .tar?
You need to give us more details in your issues.
Nand write start fail
I have solved using Odin3 v3.10.7 with firmware VZW-G920VVRU4BOK7-20151211140939 and Windows 7 for Galaxy S6 SM-G920V

SM-G920F firmware flash fail in odin - ANY SUCCESSFUL FLASHES?

Ok guys, Could be a simple answer. I currently have an S6 and it is unlocked and currently on German Vodafone. I have attempted to revert it to BTU firmware as I'm in the UK. I followed all the available guides to achieve this via odin but it failed almost immediately. It failed at Hidden.img I think? Anyway the phone then failed to start up and took me straight to an error screen telling me to connect it to smart switch. I then found out how to fix it and managed it so phone up and running again. Is it possible to flash the BTU firmware in the first place?
Thanks
Come on guys, surely there must have been someone out there with the same problem as me and has managed to overcome it?
The answer is:
extract the Firmware with winrar and extract the hidden.img separat to your Desktop. rename it to hidden.img.tar and Flash that again (AP), after that your phone should reboot. if not, go into recovery make a reset. Here is a link in german:
https://www.androidpit.de/forum/670145/samsung-galaxy-s6-s6-update-problem-hidden-img-fail
That's how I solved the problem with the phone going into error. I need to know if it is possible to flash the firmware BTU to my phone?

It's 100% possible but check first if the rar file is not corrupted.
I had problem with corrupted files failed in odin.
Ok, I completed yet another download of the firmware for BTU but once again the flash failed. I had to carry out flash with hidden.img.tar in order to restore phone. I don't understand why this is happening? Any ideas?

Can't flash custom pit files

I can't flash any fit file except official one for my device.
Any other pit file(my custom pit file or one of other device) will cause a "Secure Check Failed (PIT)" error.
Is that mean my device can only use official pit file? I can't change it?
For example, my phone is G9200 in China.
I can only flash ZEROFLTE_CHN_OPEN (G9200).pit which is for China.
I want to flash ZEROFLTE_CHN_HK.pit which is for HongKong, and is also for G9200, but I failed.
Anybody can help? Thanks very much!
Anyone can help?
Anyone can help?
The PIT file need to be signed, and it needs matches the version number of bootloader.
So, you can't flash it.
