I know the regular S5 can be used on Boost.....anyone running the Sport on Boost?
Look on the supported sprint phones for boost and see if it's on the list. I'm driving or I'd look for you. ☺
Did that already, and it's not on there. I called boost, and they can't say it can or can't. I've seen them for sale on CL and eBay, and the ads say boost compatible. I have someone else looking into this as well for a definite answer.

Anybody have any luck porting a Infuse over to Cincinnati Bell?
I seem to only get the Edge network and can't receive MMS (even after trying 247,987 different settings....)
What a fantastic device and I sure would hate to lose it.....

What bands does Cincinatti Bell use for 3G? If they use the same bands as T-Mobile, this would explain the Infuse being stuck at EDGE. There is no way around this.
They use the same as T-Mobile so it will be edge only.
Yeah it is the same as tmobile. 1700/aws is the typical band for their 3g I'm pretty sure.

Gentlemen, thanks for the info.
I was fairly certain that was going to be a hard limitation. I just wanted to run it by my XDA friends before I had a visit to eBay.
I was given this by AT&T as a “gift” if I would stay with them and admittedly it was enticing since I actually found the Infuse as close to perfect for my needs.
Oh well “eBay meet my Infuse…..”
Ps – anyone want to make a recommendation on a close replacement out of these choices (or what to avoid);

Tmobile actually has a goods selection of nice android phones like the gtx2 galaxy s 4 and some others which should work nicley on cincy bell. But if tmobile merges with att idk if they will tell bell to find a new frequency or if since they are local att won't care thinking it won't clog up the data bandwidth too much. Then you'd do all this for nothing you know what I mean lol

If you liked the infuse, the vibrant is going to be very similar, possibly the nexus s as well. Personally, I would grab a tmobile HTC sensation from the marketplace on here or eBay for 350-400 or so and use that.

I would avoid Huawei at all costs. Their policy on updates is, "Want an update? Buy this slightly modified variant of the same device you already own." and "Accessories? What accessories? That dock connector is just there to look pretty and sell tablets to idiots like you that don't know us yet."

Hey guys... So I thought I might cover this new wireless carrier since I have some of the newer AT&T devices laying around. What's great about it is that you don't have to unlock an AT&T device... One thing to note though is that you're not going to get AT&Ts network @ full speed even when you're not throttled. This is despite the fact that you can connect to LTE towers.
So far I've tested the:
AT&T Galaxy S4
Verizon Note 2 (HSPA+)
Next on the block is the:
HTC One
LG Optimus G Pro
Please like and subscribe IF you're interested in this carrier. New channel always needs all the help it can get.

Since it is owned by AT&T, they can tweak it or pour as much money into it as they want so we'll see.
If they want to unthrottle it, I'm sure they can in less than a day.
Current speeds of them on par with Cricket and MetroPCS.
My 16 meg download on HSPA+ and the Verizon Note 2 completed in what most would consider an acceptable time.

I just did a test with the HTC One and it was coming in at 3000kbps less.
I'll find a better area of Houston to do a test where the device can achieve full speed.
I've had speeds of 69000kbps+ with AT&T.

My galaxy nexus radio problems and sprints terrible service in my area have made me decide that I need a change. I am looking to move to an AT&T prepaid service. My price limit is $200. I would like to have a phone that has removable batteries which the cloned s4 has. I like the size and design of the s4 better than the 4.5" moto g. The factors that are holding me back from the s4 is the lack of reviews on it. If its reliable stock or rooted, I would probably go with that. The reason the Moto G is in the running is that it will be at my door in 2 days and I know if I have any issues, I can call motorola as opposed to trying to deal with some chinese seller. The lack of reviews for the cloned s4 have me up in the air. There are threads here for the S4 but no real reviews. Can any owners comment on how they like using/owning the device?

I don't own it yet but i don't think you will be able to use 3g on att because of the frequency bands. You should check yourself but I think t mobile 3g will work.

Ex Samsung Note buyer here.
It was a toss up between the Moto X Pure Style and the Sony Xperia Z5 premium and went for the Moto on price.
I'm assuming it's not region locked like Samsung phones as I'm in the UK and need it to work out of the box. Network bands seem to be OK.
I've ordered from the states and I like that the US version has CDMA also if I need that on my travels.
So bye bye Samsung and HELLO MOTO!
I agree with you. I got a note 5 about 2 weeks ago and after experiencing touchwiz lag I just can't take it. It has the best hardware but touchwiz just ruins it. So I ended up preordering the the moto x pure for a more vanilla android experience.
I also like the subtle moto features like moto voice. I used google voice and siri often, so having an always listening feature is killer.

I always go completely unlocked.
Currently have 3 different PAYG sims from 3 networks plus some American sims though they differ from UK ones which never run out until you spend all the credit.
Maybe T-Mobile will finally break open the American market and go with the unspent credit model? LOL
Was asking just so you double checked the bands to the UK networks. I know the US version wont work with Three.

I don't have Three but can't see why it wouldn't work the bands listed are identical aren't they?

You cannot use it on Verizon. Verizon is a CDMA carrier. The only way it will work on Verizon would be data / LTE only. No calls/sms. In the USA that phone will only work on AT&T/T-Mobile or any other GSM carrier.

WOW! Now this really effed up my day My galaxy s6 edge plus through Verizon just ended up getting it's screen eat by my car door and I figured I would at least be able to unlock my old G3 and go on abiut my day but now itlooklike my problem just gotten Even worst.
On another note..of you guys Had to choose between a G4 or v10 which one would you go for? What would be another phone you guys recommend. Thanks.

That sucks :/. If your willing to sign a 2 year contract BestBuy has most of the new samsungs for $1 Also if your willing to add a line and keep it for at least 3 months you get $300 off if you trade in a phone. I recently got two G4s by adding lines ending up making $100 lol.
I love the G4. I cannot say about the V10. I don't like the upper screen personally I don't think it's useful. But the v10 is a great phone though.
