S7 (not Edge) Icon Packs / Theme Modifications - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Phone : Sprint Galaxy S7 SM-G930P
I downloaded the "Material Dark" theme but would like to keep the stock themes icons. How can this be done exactly? I've tinkered with it for a couple days and couldn't figure it out. Stock rom is running on it (no root) with the original Touchwiz
Thanks!

S7 EDGE Nougat - Icons dynamics

Hello, I am on Nougat since 2 weeks and I am looking for icons pack with Clock and Splanner dynamic icons. With the real time and the real day/date on icons like on the stock one but I didn't find any on the Samsung Themes store.
Thanks for your help !

Cant change icons.

Hey guys, I've recently slashed the Project Dream UX ROM. However I can't change my icons, I can change icons through the theme store but that's it. My device IS rooted. I've downloaded the Grace UX icon Pack and the Galaxy icon themer which I've used before, along with some other icon packs. It says they're applied however I still have the original icons. Also I'm using the S8 TouchWiz home but even without this it doesn't work. I could use an S8 theme however I'd rather use the icon themer and change them individually. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and how I can fix this? It worked fine when I used to use MM.
I'm on MM so I'm not sure if it will help, but try changing the display scaling from standard to condensed (assuming Android N still has this option). For some reason this forces icons to update for me, after going months with flashing icon zips not doing anything.

Just tried and it doesn't work. I think it's something to do with Nougat,

Samsung theme store icon hack - Use icon only from any theme

Samsung theme added a new option in nougat for note 5 and other devices to change only icons. The problem is that icon library is quite limited. Although some themes have great icons but do let you apply icons alone (not so thoughtful of Samsung).
This method here let you use any samsung theme icon without applying that theme, Follow the complete guide here on XDA

Is there an app or module to change the look of the quick settings toggles

Is there an app or closed module that can change the stock Touchwiz quick settings toggles to look like aosp ones?
Gravitybox doesn't work. Don't have TouchWiz launched theme selection also. Substratum theme engine doesn't work also. Wish we had AOSP on the sprint note edge.

Modify Statusbar icons with Root?

I remember back on Marshmallow I think with older phones, substratrum with root would automatically patch up the statusbar icons to match whatever theme you are installing. I've noticed now that on Pixel / Galaxy S8 / Pixel2 with root, we can't seem to modify the statusbar icons. There are some substratum add-ons on the store that claim to fix this but it seems they are Samsung - specific addons.
Is the only way to do this with a rooted Pixel 2 is through some Xposed module?

theme development isn't quite there yet on our phones. definitely give it more time until custom roms and stuff make there way out. also xposed just went live so give devs time to update things to 8.1. however @Tulsadiver has made some good mod progress with 8.1. he managed to get a working Aroma installer which can do things like mod status bar icon colors. try that out for now.

but if you want to go beyond that then yes xposed is going to be your best option. have fun.
