G900p Bootloop Blisspop and Ressurection Remix - Sprint Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm on 6.0.1. Successfully rooted. Twrp 3.0.2-0. I tried using Philz touch as well. Same result. With both ROMs it doesn't get past the ROMs boot screen. It just keeps restarting. What should I do? I restored my backup so I'm fine but I want a custom ROM. How can I fix this? I don't understand the problem. I've done advanced wipe. I've tried everything I can think of. Any help appreciated.

what baseband are you on?
from the blisspop OP located in the thread below
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/unified-development/rom-wip-27-9-14-t2889474
ROM OS Version: 6.0.x Marshmallow
ROM Kernel: Linux 3.4.x
ROM Firmware Required: Lollipop 5.01
Based On: CyanogenMod
if you took the OTA like you mentioned in your other post, then youre likely on the MM 6.0.1 bootloader, which isnt compatible. Flash a LP tar,md5 in odin and try again

Thanks worked perfectly. On stock 6.0 I got anutu benchmark of 5000 and on Ressurection remix I got 4300. How can this be when the custom ROM is overclocked?

is overclocking enabled as stock or does it need to be enabled? I cant imagine that its stock enabled as it has inherent possibilities of overheating/excessive battery drain/general oddities happening during overclock. Id look to see if theres a resurrection settings in the app drawer and enable it if you want it enabled

[FLO] [UNOFFICIAL] [DEV] Android 5.1 AOSP for Nexus 7 (2013)

I tried to download Android 5.1 factory image from Google and found out there was none.
So I built one, for testing.
This is a user build of Android 5.1 AOSP with 5.0.1 blobs, so do not expect this to be rock stable.
Gapps for Android 5.1 also missing, you may have trouble getting Play Store to work.
Flash at your own RISK!
1. Download the ROM (XDA DevDB) and extract.
2. Reboot to bootloader
2.1. Unlock bootloader
3. 'fastboot -w'
[THIS WILL WIPE ALL DATA ON THE DEVICE]
4. 'fastboot flash boot boot.img'
5. 'fastboot flash system system.img'
6. Reboot

first impressions from setting up and installing all the apps i had on before hand i can really tell its smother, this is what android 5.0 should have been...
thank you arter for building this, it means i dont have to
The 5.1 binaries for this device arn't out yet are they?
Does anyone have an idea if the 5.0.2 Nexus 7 (flo) binaries will compile and work with the Android AOSP 5.1 source ?
Thanks!

They work just fine. I've been running 5.1 on my flo for a couple days.
I'm surprising there's a lack of posts on this since everyone seems to want 5.1. I guess people are either waiting for the stock OTA or CM. I'm fine with keeping my tablet stock and this will do nicely.

Some users after clean ROM being dead are reverted to the first near stock choice they saw that was the grogg's ROM.
Since the post is pure stock I don't know shy
I have both Roms running both running great!
I am not comparing any Roms here or trying to discourage anybody, just saying...
Sorry if I did posted anything wrong!

Returning to Kitkat (Need Help)

I have been using various 5.1 roms for the past 3 weeks... Lollipop roms are constantly giving me problems. So i want to try a 4.4 ROM...
Which is the most stable 4.4 ROM the OPO has ever got..??
It needs to have the best battery life and lot of customisations...
And should I flash a stock 4.4 ROM before trying any custom kitkat rom..?

See my post below, running CM11s with Boeffla's kernel (with touch fixes). You could set it up as a secondary on multirom. You just need to flash the cm11s modem. See the other link below for running lollipop and CM11s alongside each other.

CM11S (44S or 05Q) is actually the most stable kitkat rom
You can find AOSP kitkat rom(Stock Android) on oneplus forums build by oneplus team
If you want any add-ons, you can install xposed with the above ROMs

Stable LG G3 android 6.0 Rom?

What is a good stable android 6.0 rom based. I tried RR but there is often freezes and crashes thats pretty annoying. x.x. Plus I like exploring.
Help. ;~:
Fulmics ROM stock based.
For stock based I would say BlackSoulxx stockmod and Fulmics. For aosp I have no idea.
You can try Fulmics 4.2
OctOS is by far the best AOSP ROM for our device.
Yes Fulmics is the best ROM for G 3 but don't try flashing a custom kernel at the moment they are crape and don't let you boot the device.

I did a search for OctOS, and all I could find was a 5.1.1 AOSP based ROM. Is there an Android 6.0 OctOS ROM available? Since that was the query of the thread. I have tried Resurrection Remix, OrionOS, and TurboROM. I am currently running TurboROM. Each of these have had their issues.
Could you provide a link to OctOS 6.0? I would love to give it a try.

Thanks for the heads up, I will definitely take a look.
'Preciate ya!
UPDATE:
I have been running OCT-M-R1 for a day now. None of the other custom AOSP ROM issues. Right now I am inclined to agree with you. Best AOSP 6.0.1 I have tried yet.

Rooting MM 6.0.1 m4b30z

Just recently bought an old N5. Just wanna know if the latest twrp and Supersu okay to flash on the stock marshmallow? Already unlocked my bootloader. Is the next step be flashing TWRP(31.0.-0) through fastboot then reboot to recovery and flash the latest SuperSu(v2.79). I'm afraid if this will cause a bootloop. Thank you.
Yes. No issues at all.
I've installed purenexus 6.0.1 last week, from stock 6.0.1 m4b30z build. Used twrp 3.1.0 and su 2.79. Had no problems what so ever.
Thanks for the reply. Stock rom is battery hog even on standby mode. What MM or nougat rom do you recommend? As there are plenty to choose from!

Nougat: EuclideanOS
Well, it depends what you're looking for.
For me, who wants stock experience with marginal customizations. I prefer PureNexus (6.0.1) or Euclidean rom (7.1.1).
Both of them are really good, but i'm currently running Purenexus 6.0.1 as it's more stable than Euclidean AT PRESENT.

Resurrection Remix 5.5.9 PORT for Bluboo Xfire

Disclaimer: I am not responsable of problems derivate of using the rom, I use myself, it worked great, and I shared it.
This is Resurrection Remix 5.5.9 (Android 5.1.1) for our Bluboo XFire, ported from http://www.pharaohs-team.com/2016/10/resurrection-remix-559-51mt6735.html, and using help of mtkroms and Google, lot of thanks to all
The rom works properly, Video playback and recorder, GPS (Not ever, but works), WiFi, Bluetooth, Games, Audio…
Its stable for daily use, and for me is better than stock, without losing nothing (It has Enginner mode and FmRadio inclusive)
It can have some minor bugs (Only I found is after installing gapps first reboot to desktop not works until opening settings, but then all right).
It comes in a zip file that can be flashed using "Recovery Carliv" from here too, or CWM/TWRP if you find one.
EDIT: If link for Recovery Carliv doesn't work, here are a copy.
Gapps are not preinstalled, you can download zip in opengapps.org and flash it after my zip
Enjoy!

Note: If you want to interchange internal and external SD for saving all by default in external, you can use Xposed Framework with XInternalSD

Hi, I'm glad you ported it great
Normally I use the posts of mtkroms, but for this chipset I recommend some guide like this http://www.pharaohs-team.com/2016/10/resurrection-remix-559-51mt6735.html
With this mtk6735 I searched for a rom for this chipset there and modify using there guide and adding some other things
