[App search] Shared calender for friends - Android Apps and Games

Hi there,
I hope this is the right forum
I'm searching for a app, where I can create a event and a group of people will get a notification.
Then these people can say they will participate on that event or not (like Facebook).
So like a shared calendar for friends with the possibility to select to join the event.
The event creator will get a notification about the decision of the group members.
Nevertheless how they decide the event will be displayed in the app internal calender.
Does anybody knows such a app?
I don't want to use the Google calender, because I can't create a group there.
Would be great!
Thank you

[Q] Disable conversation view gmail?

How do i disable conversation view in gmail on android ... it isn't that i don't like conversation view ... the issue that i have with it is when enabled you cannot assign different labels to different threads within one conversation
Thanks in advance
Kris
Wow no one interested in this? I have the same question for my galaxy s
Same question here... can't stand conversation view on anything. Maybe just not used to it... but anyways....
Is there a way to disable conversation view in the Gmail app?
Same with me.
Same here too. I know that you now have the ability to switch off conversation view in desktop gmail. Need the same for android gmail. Perhaps in a future update Google?
Perhaps some time in the very distant future, by the looks of it
Google developers seem to be focussed on teenagers (in an effort to compete with Apple, perhaps?), who invariably receive tiny e-mails and have no problem with dozens or even hundreds of messages being bundled together - but when you're actually trying to get anything of consequence accomplished via e-mail, you'll very quickly find yourself rushing to the nearest computer to open your Gmail, 'cause stumbling through dozens of hundred-line-long messages in threaded view on the 'phone is an utter nightmare.
For the time being, it looks like the only solution is to enable IMAP in your Gmail account, then use K-9 Mail to access it that way (and disable mail synchronisation in Android for your Gmail account so you don't get double the notifications).

[Q] A good Birthday app?

Hi, I'm looking for a good Birthday app that not only reminds me of upcoming birthdays, but also lets me send a message to the person.
I really like the clean look of the Birthdays app. A very simple but complete list, showing all the upcoming birthdays from all my contacts (local and Facebook). I also like that it includes the ages if known.
But I also like the messaging functionality of the Facebook Birthday Tile app. Tap a contact's name and you can post a message on their FB wall. It also includes preset messages so you can either pick one of those or write your own.
Is there an app that combines the features of these two apps. The clean but complete list view of Birthdays, with the messaging functionality of FB Birthday Tile (and maybe also incorporates the ability to send a text message in case the person hasn't got a Facebook profile).
Any suggestions?

[APP][4.0.3+] Quiet for Gmail - Block email notifications

Hi,
I was looking for an app to block notifications during weekends for some email accounts but I couldn't, so I've developed one.
It allows you to create a schedule so you can avoid work email notification in your free time.
In addition to that, it also allows you to override your schedule temporarily for special events like a day off.
I could have switched to another email client but I was happy with the official Gmail app.
How does it work?
Well, it just toggles the synchronization on/off based on the schedule you define within the app.
In order to discover the email accounts in your device I need to use the GET_ACCOUNTS permission. Sadly, it belongs to the CONTACTS group starting Android 6. Please, tell me if you find a way to work around this.
I'm sorry but I can't post the link yet, but you can find the app on Google Play, just search for "Quiet for Gmail"
I hope you find it useful and I'm looking forward to getting some feedback from you :fingers-crossed:

Themes / Apps / Mods Facebook Messenger Notification

I am annoyed with Facebook Messenger because I can't see the full conversation in my watch. So, I decided to create an application that retrieves notifications and displays them. However, I am a beginner and it's a bit overwhelming for me. I created the application, but I don't know why the notifications are not displaying. What do you think about this? Maybe someone can support me in this project. I think many users would benefit from this application.
