I've got a Moto G XT1032 16Gb.
I recently started experiencing random reboots, and often the phone gets in bootloop.
So if I long press power button, sometimes the phone restarts and does apps optimization again and then it boots normally.
I tried changing rom, from Cyanogenmod 13 nightly to [ROM][6.0.1][FALCON] AOSP-CAF [STABLE][9/3/16], but the problem is still there.
I need your help to check for sure if it's a software problem and not hardware.
I followed instructions here [GUIDE] Moto G - Restore stock firmware and flashed XT1032_FALCON_RETGB_5.1_LPBS23.13-56-2_cid7_CFC.xml.zip
All mfastboot commands went fine, the phone rebooted, I was setting it and it started to reboot again and again...
Is this the end of my Moto g? Or there's still something I can try?

Ok, so I recently got a Moto G (falcon) my carrier is Boost Mobile, I install Cyanogen Mod 11 and that caused it to go into an infinite boot loop. So using this tutorial and or scripts, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.phtp?t=2646415 , I was able to re-lock the device as well as restore the stock everything, boot, recovery, etc. I cleared the cache and rebooted but now it is showing the "motorola a Google company" screen and it vibrates and transitions like it has loaded but than it just repeats the same process over and over and over again. Sense it's a Moto G I can't remove the battery and when ever I try to turn it off, it just turns right back on and does the same thing I explained. I really don't know what to do now, I've searched everywhere for tutorials, they're all great but none of them are helping me.
Some Other Things:
Android Verizon: 4.2.2
Carrier: Boost Mobile
Device: Locked Status Code: 2
Length of BootLoop: 24hours so far
Recovery Methods Used: About 10
Retail: falcon_boost_user_4.4.2_KXB20.9-1.10-1.18_18_release-keys-cid9
Please, please I need help with this!

Did you try restoring your phone? Using this firmware.
The scrip mentioned in the thread you mentioned is not for US Boost, It is for US retail, You need to restore Your original firmware!
Good Afternoon all at XDA,
Hoping that somebody here will be able to help me. In december I unlocked my bootloader using some instructions found on your website.
This allowed me to install some apps that weren't available via google play and this worked great.
However, I finally got tired of not being able to use Online Banking apps with my unlocked bootloader, so decided to revert to the factory moto g image which I backed up before unlocking.
This left me stuck in a reboot loop. between the unlocked bootloader warning and an android with spinning metal cogs in its chest.
I tried some other images, found on this site, but was left either in a reboot loop, or with the Moto logo, and the phone occasionally emitting a vibrate every couple of seconds.
I have tried loading the images using the built in Motorola recovery and/or clockworkmod recovery.
The outcome has been the same or similar either a reboot loop or stuck on moto logo occasionally chirping the vibrate.
I feel like XT1039 is not the full model number of my phone, or that I'm missing something else.
Please could someone shed some light on which Rom I should be using, and a step by step of how to get my phone back to life.
Many Thanks
Vinny
I think you are in the wrong sub-forum. This is for the second gen moto g (xt1063-xt1069). Yours is the first gen moto g
Hi Guys,
Prelude : 2 months back, my pure stock Moto G experienced i guess a battery drain and refused to start the next time onwards. When it was powered on, it just got stuck on the M Logo of the bootup. After the help from @lost101 & others, i was able to flash the custom recovery & rom and got the phone to bootup atleast although faced the same issue which i'll be writing below now.
Since that event has happened, everytime I flash a custom rom, the installation happens without any glitch which includes the rom.zip & gapps_pico.zip. Now when the ROM bootups, the startup screen shows up after which it starts optimizing apps. That's where is the issue starts.
For eg. optimizing app x (single digit) of 101, it doesn't goes beyond that point even after waiting for 15-20 mins or so, and i've to manually reboot using the power button after which again the optimizing apps screen comes up and this time the figure is optimizing app xx of 16/17, and in this turn the phone successfully boots up to the setup screen and works as normal. But after a few moments when i'm done setting up all my apps and everything, random issues turn up for eg. the notification quick tiles won't drop down. And when i restart the handset, again it shows the optimizing apps screen, the phones boots up to home screen but random issues pertain.
I've tried ROM's like Stock Debloated (5.1.1) , CrDroid, CyanPOP, RessurectionRemix all based on 6.0.1.
Before installing any ROM, i do an advanced wipe and all format the data. Right now the handset is running CyanPOP but the main issue is i'm unable to access the notification dropdown. It doesn't goes beyond the header.
One more thing, I installed RR (xt1022 specfic) with same pico_gapps on my Moto E & the rom booted up in no time and working as smooth as butter till date with no issues whatsoever.
I'll be helpful if some one can diagnose the issue. Thanks
BBThumbHealer.
Did you try flash stock firmware and then flash a costum ROM ?
@Eurofighter_ty : when the issue first happened, what I remember is that I tried installing the debloated stock ROM of 5.1.1 and not the pure stock having all the unnecessary gapps. And similar issue was encountered. Same thing happened with other custom ROMs.
Today I've now reverted to a previous version of CrDroid 6.0.1 released in April and it at least runs fine when in use although a reboot causes the same issue. However, CrDroid June update and CyanPOP had the issue in which the quick tiles didn't drop down along with refusal of bootup.
Try to flash the stock ROM via fastboot with all files
Hi people, I have ran into a bit of an issue here that I have not found anywhere.
I wanted to try out CM12.1 + CAF Kernel for my Moto G XT1032, which was running Android 5.0.2. However, after install, I'm not able to boot into the OS or even recovery anymore. I get to fastboot, select either "Normal Powerup" or "Recovery", the phone gets to the "Bootloader Unlocked" warning, then shuts off without showing an animation or anything.
What can I do with this? I've been modding Android for some years now, but I have never ran into an issue like this. Thanks!
Ok, quick update. I got it to boot up on CM12.1, however, the recovery menu erased by itself. Reflashed it in order to get Gapps, rebooted, and now I'm back into the same issue.
What could it be?
As we all know that LG G Pro 2 had an issue on wifi, bluetooth and overheating,So i brought it to china to fix it and they replaced the motherboard(idk i just tell my friend to help me to fix) .And everything works at the beginning. However when i open up the wifi, the system lags up,and reboot. At that moment i am using cm 13,then i thought it was a software problem,so i installed rr 5.8 and the first boot just lag on the boot animation, and then reboot. And the second time the system boots up,and wifi works like a charm.
So my phone is now depends on luck to boot up.Sometimes it just lags on boot animation, then reboot. And sometimes just directly startup normal,(excpt the crashes forces the system to reboot after usong for serval hours.)
So is there any ways to fix it?
