Flashing a recovery to z3 d6633 - Xperia Z3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Few days ago'i rooted my Z3 d6633 android marshmallow, but when i did the recovery is gone.
My bootloader is locked
I am wondering if I can install the recovery TWRP using flashify from the play store without losing the root

If you still have root, you can use Recrootv4, it has Windows installer, and it reinstalls recovery. Just search for it.

[Completed] [Q] Z Ultra 6833 CWM Help

So I was trying to install cyanogenmod on my phone as I was tired of waiting for Sony to update it to lollipop. I've done this on all of my older Samsung phones. So this is what I did:
1: Tried to install CWM using XZU recovery. It restarted my phone but would not boot into recovery mode.
2: Realized I need to root my phone so I rooted it. I have root access in apps except I can't install the binarys in supersu because the stock recovery option does not work and CWM doesn't either.
3. I then thought maybe I need to unlock the bootloader so I unlocked it and tried step 1 again but with the same outcome.
So essentially I am at a point where I can't install the binary in SuperSU due to the recovery being corrupt. I also can't install CWM due to not having the binarys for root installed. Is there away for me to get out of this mess?
Yes I realize I shouldn't have did it in the order that I did but I did it based on a few documentations that I saw that did not state I needed any of that and on past experience on different phones I was able to go straight to CWM.

Flashtool doesn't see my phone. I know that I have my phone in the right mode because it has the blue LED and I know I have the correct drivers because it shows them in Device Manager as well as I had to put it in this mode to unlock the boot loader in the first place.
Nevermind flashtool randomly saw my phone. Going to try and install the new kernal. Will update
So here is what I finally did to get CM12.
1 I used Sony's flashtool to install the stock image and start over.
2 I then used the SP flashtool to install CWM kernel
3 I then installed CM12 in CWM and all is good

Unable to boot into Custom Recovery (TWRP 2.8.5.9) on Xperia Z3 (D6603 )

Background, I downgraded my firmware to 23.0.a.2.93, rooted with locked bootloader using giefroot v3, then installed NUT's Z3-lockeddualrecovery2.8.3-RELEASE.installer, after which I flashed 5.0.2 to preserve root.
Now my phone refuses to boot into TWRP (skips it altogether, I've tried booting into recovery from app like Flashify, TWRP manager and also using adb command). Phone restarts, but never boots into recovery, and goes straight to the android system. I know I have it installed because TWRP manager shows that it is installed, but when I try to flash a .zip file phone just restarts and nothing happens. I wanted to flash xposed's .zip file, otherwise it won't work.
So my question is, what could be the problem? I reinstalled NUT's dualrecovery several times, still no results.
Seriously, have you been on another planet lately? Sorry for sounding a bit harsh.
It's a known issue that Dual recovery isn't still available for Lollipop.

Problem with recovery

Hi, now i know, that rooted devices (like mine) can't be updated via OTA, so i downloaded custom recovery. I flashed the .zip with update and my M2 just rebooted. It happens with TWRP, Rashr and Flashify. Is there any other ways to flash .zip's?

Can't able to remove the and install stock recovery.img

I am a beginner to this Android platform and it's been more than a year since the purchase of moto xt1602. I have tried rooting the phone and was successfull in the first attempt itself by flashing stock recovery over two and installing superuser. But I have downloaded the ota for nougat and tried to install so I unrooted the superuser and tried but was getting errors so tried to replace twrp over stock recovery but I can't able to remove the twrp I even tried with the flashify apk but it displayed no memory partition found and I can't able to flash the twrp and I'm stuck in half way. I would be glad to receive help from experienced personnel and add the link to stock recovery for moto g4 play xt1602

TWRP - flash not working but no error.

I recently unlocked bootloader, installed twrp, and rooted my Sony Xperia Xa2 ultra. When I boot into twrp and flash a zip (I tried fonts and pix3lify) it says it was successful but when I reboot nothing has changed (same font and in the play store it says my device isn't compatible with pixel apps). I don't get any errors. I am rooted with magisk and everything looks fine with it. Running Android 9.0.
