As above I entered a service menu on my Samsung Galaxy S6 *#9090# it brings up DIAG menu I believe - I may have changed one thing I'm unsure?
Is the default for RAMDUMP Off? I have it as off atm but unsure if it was off or on when I first went in there.
I was trying to have my phone lock on LTE Band 28 700Mhz which is one of the spectrums Optus in Australia use and it gives me the best signal strength at home and at work

I have this problem since the first day of Samsung Galaxy Pocket purchasing. Not quite sure that it is a hardware, software or network problem. Please suggest if you have any idea.
(Sorry I just notice I put wrong model name in Title, the phone in question is Samsung Galaxy Pocket (S5300) not Galaxy Plus).
My SGP data (HSPA) will stop (no movement of data icon in status bar, no network connection response from all network relate application) after I enable packet data and set network mode to GSM/WCDMA (this will make SGP to clamp on 3G most of the time) and leave it for 8-10 hours. My mobile network operator operate both GSM and WCDMA/HSPA with same network code and frequency band.
I tried to upgrade firmware (Stock), claim a new phone, flash custom ROM (Hyperion 1x and 2x) but still got the same problem.
Anyone having same problem or have any suggestion?

Can anyone tell me the "secret" code for Network selection ( RF band selection ) for the GT-I9295
I´m have rooted the phone and now i need the code to enter the Network menu to activate the locked 4G band.
The *#2263# code does work for S4 ... but not for S4 Active !?!
I have tryed 4G toggle apps, but they only work for S4 ... but not S4 Active

Have had the phone for a week with no success even with rogers support
Gave me the LTE APN and my phone isn't connecting to LTE network, I added it manually still with no success
Sim card connects to LTE in my old xperia with no issues
Network keeps jumping from 3G and 4G
Don't have any clue on my next step and rogers blaming the hardware as they don't have any other resolution
is 4g the same as LTE and maybe I just don't know..is there anything I can do to test the lte antenna? I would like to rule out the hardware but I don't think its the hardware......
any help would be greatly appreciated

That will open a menu from which you can select Phone Information, once in the Phone Information screen, scroll down and you'll see a drop-down menu where you can select network types, try selecting "LTE only" to see if you can connect to an LTE network.
Also, what phone are we talking about here?

I have an AT&T Gear S2, along with a Note 4, on AT&T. On my Note 4, I can "dial" this string:
#*#*4636*#*#
and get to a "Testing" menu. From Testing > Device Information, there's a box that's actually a pick list of cellular radio settings. If you tap the box, it opens to show various settings. By selecting "GSM Only", I can force-limit the Note 4 to only using Edge or 3G.
I tried entering that string into the watch's dialpad, but it returned an error "Incorrect MMI" or something.
Is there a similar string anyone has found that works on the G2 to force the cellular radio to use the lower-draining Edge or 3G radio, instead of 4G?

Got a weird one.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus G955W, fully unlocked, stock ROM.
Device works perfectly in North America on all networks. But once in Hong Kong, it won't connect properly to data with LTE enabled. Whatsapp works, minor browsing, but anything google related is slow to the point it's not work. If I force the device on WCDMA / 3G, data is fine.
Same thing with a G930W8 I have. If rooted and running a custom ROM, the G930W8 works fine on LTE / 4G. But if on stock firmware it just won't connect properly. It may work after restart for 10mins but stop after.
Verified APN with the network and it's correct. Any clue as to what is causing this ?
I have the G955W version, I don't have any problems using LTE in HK.
Get in the dialer and input this code

This should get you in the LTE band preferences screen.
Turn on all the bands for all the formats
Go back to the main screen of that menu by selecting the 3 dot selection at the top right of the screen. Once there, select apply configuration.
Hit the home button and reboot phone.
Situation should slowly change.
Depending on network...
