[Q] Root for Lenovo A5000

Hi,
Just wanted to check whether there's already a working root for Lenovo A5000 with android 4.4.2 (kitkat).
Framaroot and Kingroot doesn't seem to work.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, now i've root my device Lenovo A5000.
I've used this tool with my pc. Success 100%.

use the pc to root your device!
after root success, use CH Play to install SupperSU

What's a 'CH Play'? An app? Any link?

So far this phone has no OTG support

So there is no custom rom, i found one here http://www.lollipop-update.org/2015/04/lenovo-a5000-7167.html

Hi,
Its not working whenever attach my usb drive it detech the drive and shows blank & asking to format the drive. I'm on lastest firmware A5000_S030_150713 and phone is rooted.

Help my guys for rooting my Lenovo vibe P1a42 having following configurations-
android version - 5.1.1
baseband version-MPSS.DPM.2.0.2.c1-00086
build number - P1a42_S135_151013_ROW
I tried kingo root, but it not worked !!

Hello to everyone. I would just like to ask what will happen to my android when installation of twrp via mobile uncle will fail? Will it brick my phone? And is it good that i will download the twrp(a twrp from samsung note 4) available in that app?

There won't be any issue if the flashing fails.You cannot flash a different device's recovery on your phone.That'll probably brick it.

Download twrp 2.8.7.0 for p70 and mtk sp flashtool drivers ..
And flash twrp via flashtool.

Yes,as people have said,recovery updating failure don't make your device a brick,you just can't boot in recovery mode before another recovery is installed correctly.Use Mobile Uncle to install recovery is the most simple way.(ಡωಡ)

hi ive just updated my lenovo k3 note to android 6 , now i wanna root it , but i dont have the suitable recovery fo that ive tried installing old recovery that was for the previous android i think and i bricked my phone but i recovered my phone and now its having new update android 6 please help me about the custom recovery fo that so i can root my phone
