Just wanted to check whether there's already a working root for Lenovo A5000 with android 4.4.2 (kitkat).
Framaroot and Kingroot doesn't seem to work.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

after root success, use CH Play to install SupperSU

So far this phone has no OTG support

Hi,
Its not working whenever attach my usb drive it detech the drive and shows blank & asking to format the drive. I'm on lastest firmware A5000_S030_150713 and phone is rooted.

timmydean created a nice set of tools that help you root the device, and re-root it if you take an OTA.
Works perfectly, if you follow the directions.

Lenovo removed all the root links in their forum... Also, they made changes to the rom at version 11_11. It seems to wipe out root even with the backdoor method. Is there root available for 14_14...

It was announced that KingRoot supports rooting Gionee S7. I tried it on a X2 Soul Pro, and didn't work (different identification strings). The count for support for this model was at ~30.000. How could we get the message to KingRoot that the phones very likely have the same necessary software?

Currently KINGROOT is working. I have the latest firmware and KingRoot 4.3.9 (must be minimum this version) and root is done
Pls is there anyway to root this fone

I can hopefully help you guys on this if you install CPU-Z from playstore and send me screenshots of its first three tabs i.e. SOC, DEVICE and SYSTEM, as I am attaching for a different phone just as a sample to give you an idea about what I am demanding.....
There is no option to send picture .
What should I do now?
