Hello , I want to introduce myself in the development of Android ROMs .
I work with Linux and want to edit my ROMs for HTC OneM8 .
Android Kitchen is it compatible with my phone?
if so, what are the dangerous things in during the development of the ROM?
if Android Kitchen is not compatible with my phone , what is the tutorial or tool can I use?
thank you all .
PS: I'm sorry, I do not know about board post this topic.

Hello. I have a Moto Q9h, and I have the 6.1 ROM that some chefs are using to port stuff over to HTC devices.
My question is, what kitchen can I use to BACKUP the current ROM I have on my Q9h ???? Does one exist, or do I have to modify an existing one ???? I read somewhere that I have to do it in Linux, is this true ????
Basically, me and someone else can figure out how to change the stuff around to make the 6.1 ROM work on our US Q9h's, we just need to know how to BACKUP our original ROM's, just in case. Please help, thank you.
how to change my os for htc incredble s
Have a look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1028 ,
specifically the posts about ROMs to choose what you want, and the Guide to learn how to do it.
Hey, Guys
im a total noob in programming and stuff :silly:
but im very much interested in mobiles and technology
I wanted to port Cyanogenmod to my htc desire 826(only china and india release, so i figured there will be no further updates from htc )
I saw many guides for noobs but they said base rom shouldnt be stock, and please correct me if i am wrong that port rom should be pure
So if base rom shouldnt be stock then i cant use the rom in htcdev
and it is written any other rom(cyanogen?) for same soc(snapdragon 615) and resolution(1920X1080)
there is no rom available like that the closest i found was yu yureka plus but the rom there itself is for both the 720p and 1080p resolution( project-tomato just made the account so outside links restricted )
also it is from a different manufacturer
Please guys help me it will be much appreciated
Also too I have been following xda for a long time
Also which method should i follow??
P.S.
Guys i really like all this stuff can you please tell me where should i start learning it and to understand android code
Also built universal apps that run across all three platforms
Thanks guys your help will be much appreciated :fingers-crossed: :fingers-crossed:

Greetings to all!
I would like to ask about this STB which uses Android 4.2.2 by default and it's already rooted.
Is there any possible way to load Custom Recovery and Custom Rom instead of using this simple and not effective one already installed by factory?
I could ask on Infomir's help support forum but here i believe i could find better support.
Incase you want to help i refer on this model.
Hi !
I couldn`t find anything related to your device here on xda and most probably there is no custom rom available . For this it needs kernel and device sources which I`m afraid that aren`t available , sorry
Cheers !
No worries thanks for your time and reply!
