Most of the apps do not work. So, asked here to know if somebody has gotten around some working app.

One thread says CM13 ROMs have native call recorder built in. You tried that?

Hello all,
Wondering if anyone can recommend a good call recording app for the Skyrocket? One that actually does work? lol
I've tried a number of them and none work at all. Those that do work only on speakerphone. One that I managed to get working was not stable and extremely poor sound quality.
I find it hard to believe there isn't an app that does provide this functionality for this particular phone. I've always found a good one with all other Android phones I have owned.
Hoping somebody out there found one or tweaked one to get it working properly?
Thanks,
--mike
Hi, I've call recorder from skvalex. It works great.
Do a search on skvalex on the market.

are you referring to this one?
http://www.appbrain.com/app/callrecorder/com.skvalex.callrecorder
If so, I tried it and still did not work. Have tried all of them.
Are you running stock ROM and stock Kernel?
Thanks,

I'm using that one too. Works fine for me. Stock rom rooted.
Ahh, nice. That one attached did work. Not sure why the other one would not.
Thanks! Works great.

The app records great. Is there a way to toggle it off and on? I had to freeze it.

Thats an old version, download the new free or paid and it has a toggle while incall. Works great.

That's the prob. I tried the latest ones on the market but they just don't work. Unless you have a different build?

I really dont understand how google has yet to fix this problem. There are fixes for dev editions but has anyone gotten it to work on 4.4.2 using ART? This is the only thing preventing me from switch to ART full time :<

+1 me too! WhatsApp works under 4.4.2
here is the full clone of Whatsap, called Telegram: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.telegram.messenger working fine with my 4.4.2

Yes that's his point. He wants to run ART which is still experimental and not supported by Google yet, but still wants to complain that apps don't work using it. Pretty absurd if you ask me.

Check out WhatsApp+! It's a modded WhatsApp supporting ART, plus you can completely theme it the way you want. It's really awesome, just Google for it.

Sensitive much?
I'm on my high horse as you call it because It works fine for me so your ART is most likely the issue. Did you uninstall it after you switched to Dalvik then reinstall? Clear the app data and cache?
My point is the whining about something being Google's fault when the app works just fine if you don't switch to an unsupported engine. The OS nor the app are the issue. I use it daily.

Therefore it's pointless. The appeal of WhatsApp lies in the fact that most everyone is using it.

You're funny Since the beginning WA was like that... Very hard to write a message: WA is not working right now, you can get in touch with me on T
1 first of all... Isnt googles fault cause whatsapp since 4.4 was released whatsapp told they don't gonna have support for art in that version untill 4.4.1 .... Why??? Don't know, complain with whatsapp. But maybe cause 4.4 gonna be a "trandition version" like HC 3.0 was a couple of years ago. How do i know that??? Cause im work with the moto team.
2 dude.... What Is the point to have a developer edition if youre still on 4.4 when outside are plenty of 4.4.2 Roms??? Boy, just update!

What's app was never installed so I can't reset the app. Also the reason why I'm blaming Google is because from what everyone is saying this issue can only be fixed by an update from Google since it has to do with the lib.

If you attempted to re-install WhatsApp in ART, your /data/data/ directory may have a latent com.whatsapp folder left behind from the failed install that will prevent you from installing WhatsApp again. Android does not have any UI exposed to resolve this issue. Currently the only known way to remove this file is to either delete the file (only possible if your phone is rooted), or to reset your device to factory defaults.

Not here. I get hiss, the mic does not pickup the other side of the conversation.
It used to work on some previous ROM I was using.
So annoying. I only want to use this when I get the calls from India claiming to be "Microsoft" letting me know my computers are all jacked up. What's the point of trolling those retards if I can't record it and post the results?

Thanks. The better option to use rom with built in call recording. I know it is in the India and Thailand roms. In the past, Thai sim trick was used to change CSC to THL. I read in the Note 20 ultra forums that this is not working anymore.
Can someone confirm if it is the case with z fold 2? Or it is working with z fold 2?
Anyway to change CSC to THL for Z FOLD 2?
Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
The first thing I do when I got my fold 2 is insert a Thai sim and try to change the CSC but failed.
So I can confirm that this method does not work with fold 2.

I bought it too long long ago, but was not working for some recent phone, then I bought Oneplus and Xiaomi phones and I was able to use their inline call recording, with a hack.
Will try a hack for the Fold 2 if not, will install this app again, thanks
