Nobody themes the status bar or the battery icons. I guess I should just run jelly bean still. I miss 3minit battery. Still stock not rooted.

you can try Good Lock app in the samsung apps, it change the system ui and the status bar icons. The app is in apk mirror. It is an app for galaxy s6 and s7.

1st) Samsung Theme Engine does not allow MM status bar icons changes. They are not a bunch of PNGs anymore. Now they are drawn by XML code which is unreachable, ATM, to Theme Engine.
2sd) APKTOOL for Samsung Marshmallow APKs is performing well only since 2.1.1 that was released on May 7th. Still no SecSettings deals.
3rd) Stock non-rooted ... quite fewer options for you.
Hope to soon flood you all with new options.

The only edit I'm seeing is the battery in the status bar. I've tried wiping cache and dalvik cache and reflashed a couple of times, nothing works. I even downloaded again just in case. Any ideas?

Hey mate, I also experimented with my SystemUI.apk and managed to get this on my phone too.. but the only issue I'm having is getting a "whitish status bar" whenever I open any app that has a white background (like Google Play, Google Now, Whatsapp, Instagram, etc.)...

My mod has nothing to do with statusbar white color. I think you are using some other mods for transparency of statusbar.
Just disable that mod and it will be fine.

Crdroid is cm based. The lock screen zip is in nexus 5 themes and apps. Older post.. Just delete the keyguard.apk. and paste the new keyguard. and set the right permissions

Problem is our S8 isn't rooted. We have zero rom dev and a locked BootLoader.
