i bought a j7 phone which has 1.5 gb ram android 5.1.1 ,model sm-j00f but i cannot pair it with my gear 2 .The phone met the specs that samsung wwrote in their web page but gear manager says its not suppotred. İs there any way tom pair them ??

You need to change The phone name in build.prop to one of the supported devices

it does. only thing is that you have to have one of newest Samsung devices (Note 4, Note 5, S6, etc) that support Samsung Pay. Keep in mind, Samsung Pay does NOT works on rooted device...

yes I have the s6 so how does it work with the gear s2
I have a Nexus 6p any hope getting it set up?
It's only supported in certain markets right now. I don't believe it's working in the US yet

Can't speak for the 3g variant, but the secret to getting it to work on the Bluetooth version is to wait for Samsung to enable it in a future update.
Hi, i've a problem.
I bought a samsung galaxy a3 2016 and a samsung gear s2, they sold as compatible. Instead , in the italian samsung's site aren't compatible, in .com are compatible.
Is there a way to make it compatible?
What can I install ?

To see it like this i was very disappointed in samsung because if you look to Apple Iphone 5 its running IOS10 and for example the galaxy s5 has only got lollipop and marsmallow with the old interface with no features and only security patches nothing more and we are paying that much money and get nothing its happening every single time again.

Yes it will work. Gear S3 Spay has nothing to do with Your Phone. Your phone should not be rooted thats all
