Hi, i've a problem.
I bought a samsung galaxy a3 2016 and a samsung gear s2, they sold as compatible. Instead , in the italian samsung's site aren't compatible, in .com are compatible.
Is there a way to make it compatible?
What can I install ?

Same problem here. Samsung Gear App says the phone is not compatible. Is there any way to work this around?
I'm using A3 2016 and bought the Gear S2 Classic yesterday. There is no issue in pairing and setting up my Gear with my Phone.

I recently just purchased a Samsung Tab S2 SM-T715Y(which I had sold off my Samsung TAB S 8.4 LTE SMT-705).
Now I can't Connect or pair my samsung Gear 2 (with camera) with my Samsung Tab S2. I did tried few versions of samsung gear apk, but however they all doesnt work.
The error message just keep popping up " Check if your phone is compatible and if the Samsung Gear app needs to be updated. Then try again."
Please Help!! I sign up this forum and I would hope anyone who knows what to do.. Please please let me know!

Same deal here with a Galaxy Tab S 8.4 (TM705). Tried the newest Samsung Gear Manager from the Galaxy Apps. The Samsung Gear installs fine but when I want to pair with the newly factory reset Gear S2 it says after a while that the device would be incompatible. The Gear S2 says "Setting up... " after accepting the bluetooth passkey. It works fine with a Samsung S5 Mini though. Both devices are on Android 5.0.4. I also tried changing the build.prop as described in different forums to get different phones to connect to former Gears but it did not help. Is there a trick to solve this?

hello new here I just bought the Samsung gear s2 and it says that I can get the Samsung pay app for it but when I try to type it I the gear store it doesn't show any where can some one please help?

Does my 1st-generation Galaxy J7 (6.0.1, 1.5GB Ram) works with Gear S2? I saw the Gear app in Galaxy Apps, but my device doesn't appear in the compatible list on Samsung website.

Anyone managed to use Samsung pay on gear s2 in Singapore? Or does anyone know what app can be used for the "tap and pay" function of the gear s2 in Singapore?
