R,G,B combination to reach the perfect white balance. - Xperia Z5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone,
My screen tends to be quite bluish and its bothering me. Has anyone tried any combination with reference to a white paper and not an eyesore?? I tried red 21, green 0 and blue 0 and its better but is it really the best combination out there?
Thanks

is there any other way to calibrate the white balance than to do manually. i sometimes edit with both phone and laptop. So getting the color balanced between the two will be really useful.

Mine is:
Red: 0
Green: 62
Blue: 28

[Request] Inverted TW Theme

So I know we have a lot of great themers for this phone and I was wondering if anyone would like to tackle a Inverted theme, basically something all white. Im thinking of something similar to this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgas.jamtwg.donate&hl=en
I thought it would be sick if we could get something like this. A white theme to match the white GS3's!
no one really? lol
White status bar = froyo = ugly as f%$#. Make the theme yourself. No one will use it.

Keep the status bar black but settings white. Thinking of doing a sense theme like this.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Just FYI displaying white on an amoled screen consumes FAR more battery than displaying black... They didn't make all their menus and settings black just because they thought it looked cool.
Black pixels = no energy consumption.
White pixels = full energy consumption.
If you ever saw a series of WP7 phones you may have noticed that some of their homescreens were white and some were black. MS actually had this as an option for device manufacturers to optimize battery life depending on whether they had an AMOLED or LCD screen. LCD screens are actually the opposite of AMOLED when it comes to consumption; displaying white consumes little energy while displaying black consumes the most.

[Request] Whitened theme for stock ROM

Hi,
Some roms are using that (white for everything, bye to holo blue) and I think it looks nice.
Is there a way to make stock look like that?
Best regards.

I don't think op is clear what is requested. He talks of replacing holo with white so it sounds like he wants white backgrounds and black text. Think OP should elaborate.

He isn't clear I agree that's why I said I think. But as you said he talks of replacing holo blue with white....there are no holo blue backgrounds in stock...just holo blue text...which is why I assumed he wanted white text on black background....white themed cataclysm is not that
I'm pretty sure he's talking about what Slim has done with their ROM's. Just about all the left over holo blue(switches, loading bars, volume sliders, etc.) have been themed to a holo white. Makes for a much more uniform ui than the half and half scheme Google chose for stock.

As far as i know that difference is maybe due to the difference in the displays of both devices. S5 uses a better display color reproduction, maybe thats why the colour is a bit different than ours.
Anyways, i don't think that it is noticeable, and who would waste their time to just make the color a bit dark to match s4's one exactly.
I personally feel its not that important to waste their time on this, sorry.

The support of the i9500 from the developers is very weak ! i don't know what is the reason

I only meant the statusbar color not the whole display. In my opinion it looks more modern on the S5
Ops I see you say using tinted. For sms app just open that screenshot from first post and with color picker take color code from them. Then set that color in tinted statusbar and all will fine. Sorry for bad eng.
I test now and with collor ff014753 work fine and collor is that from shot in your post

If you are already using Tinted Status Bar you can already give the status bar the look you want.
Just change the stock colors in tinted status bar settings to what you want. There's a slider in the app. You can just darken it a little bit for that particular app.

Thnx but I noticed excessive battery drains after using tinted status bar so I will wait until someone porting original galaxy s5 status bar.

Is it possible to remove the lockscreen?

Title... See, my problem is that I cannot find a good Android O theme. So I am now using [MINU] White Edition which isn't perfect but better than most others. What really bothers me (and there is no ****ing way to edit themes apparently) is that it turns the lockscreen clock and writing from white into grey, which looks awful.
So I cannot change that. But I do not really need the lockscreen on the other hand... so is there any way to disable it?

yes under settings lockscreen
Yes just have screen unlock method turned to none. But when you do this the AOD will not show you any notifications as they are pushed to the lock screen

Thank you. Very useful thread! I tried it and it works on my S8+.
You probably can edit the theme, just not with built in settings. I've seen plenty of threads in the past about editing themes, or creating your own. Most likely involves a PC and time. Just search for it.

Did not know that. Haven't done it myself, but that's just sounds crappy. The nav bar is almost always white on my black theme so I know where ur coming from. Just sucks they limit that.

[Request] [Theme] Stock everything but dark backgrounds (not black)

I have been looking for a nearly exact stock theme but with dark backgrounds. Not pitch black, but dark gray-ish, like the material background.
Does anyone know of such a theme or can someone whip one up?

Last time I used Theme Galaxy, it did not offer a way to only change one aspect and leave all others stock. Is it different now? I will try again.
There is themed called Bodhisattva on S9/S9+ thread which has dark theme. About the icon, after themed has been applied you can apply default icon to change the icon back to stock but with dark background or if ya can wait im glad to make one for ya.
