Torch brightness in CM roms - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone !
I don't know if you remember how we did use the torch in kitkat versions of CM, there was an app called torch, and we were able to enable or not the full brighness of the flashlight.
Since lollipop, the torch function is implemented in AOSP, so the torch app was removed.
In todays versions of cyanogenmod, the torch brightness is limited, and I never found a way to get full brightness again.
The only way was to switch to sultanxda's rom, but I would like to go back to official CM nightlies.
Do you know if there is a way to "fix" this problem ?
Thanks in advance !

Torch

So i flashed a rom a couple days ago that had the torch app. I deleted all the zip files and have since flashed a new rom. Does anybody have this apk or could you point me to it?
Its the torch app with the 3 different light settings and the strobe effect.
Thanks

you mean, Flashlight.apk ?
here you go, but the only flash mode is S.O.S. and Auto Flash (constant blink)
If he's looking for "Torch" specifically, then that's from Cyanogen.
I have the apk in my Dropbox, it's been there for a few months, so I don't remember where I originally got it. It's the same one from CyanogenMod. It works on AOSP and Sense based roms, however the high brightness/Death Ray mode only works on AOSP roms. Like MIUI, and others. The rest works in sense, but only goes to the same brightness as the HTC flashlight. Anyone know why this is?
Just remember -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=878260

My guess would be you can burn out the LED, so it would make sense that HTC would put a cap on it.

Auto-Rotation delay in AOKP Roms

Do any of the current ROM's for i9003 have the Rotation Delay feature? I remember earlier AOKP ROM's for our i9003 had the Rotation Delay feature which would let you set the delay as low as 10ms. I'd really like to have that feature back. I recently tried one of the ROM's that has AOKP features but it was missing the Rotation Delay feature.

[Q] [ROM][S4][AOSPA3+][10jun] UNOFFICIAL PARANOIDANDROID 3.60 Thanks

Hi to rmbq developer of [ROM][S4][AOSPA3+][10jun] UNOFFICIAL PARANOIDANDROID 3.60 | HALO 10
Thank you for this ROM. I cannot post in the One S development forum as I am a newbie.
My phone has a problem where the hardware buttons (back/home/recent apps) stop working after the phone goes to sleep. The buttons are fine when the phone is first turned on but after the phone has gone to sleep the buttons don't work.
I have tried many ROMS ParanoidAndroid 2.54, stock rooted, viperS... but this one is the only one that keeps the buttons working.I know the buttons don't light up in your ROM whereas they do in the other ROMs.
Yours is the only ROM I have found where the buttons work all the time even after sleep. Would you know why this would be the case?
Another thing. I know you are working to fix a lot of bugs and to add a lot of features and a new kernel. What I'm worried about is that this would break this button working for me in a later version. The only thing that I really need fixed on this ROM is the auto rotate.

[Q] Double-tap wake functionality on non-sense ROM

I'm currently running CM11 nighties on my M8.
I know that other phones have had tap/swipe to wake enabled through kernel modifications. I've searched through the forums but haven't found anyone discussing ways to restore this feature that's pretty useful because of the awkward placement of the power button and the size of the phone.
Is there a kernel/xposed module/something that would restore this feature? Something like Bulletproof (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2233665) for the m7?

[Android 12] - App or Magisk module to let me use any gesture to toggle flashlight on/off?

Hello all,
On rooted Android 11, I was using this magisk module which let me squeeze to toggle on/off the torchlight.
Unfortunately, it hasn't been updated yet and probably won't be for Android 12, so I'm asking you if you have any alternative?
I'm not restricted to any kind of gesture, can be anything like squeeze, short/long/multiple power button press(es) or volume up/down, etc...
Thank you in advance
im also looking for it, did u find it? ive noticed some custom roms have this feature inbuilt, but not the one im on (Descendant OS) this feature is sooo usefull and easy and just nice i dont understand why its not a default feature yet
