So I decided to root my moto g 2014 with "kingroot". It rooted successfully. I happened to switch it off and reboot it but it doesn't boot up at all. I got it into recovery mode, wiped the cache and also factory reset it but it does not boot. The normal boot up shows an error, the factory boot up shows an error and the recovery reboot just has a dead android and says "no command". The motorola site says that my device isn't eligible to have its bootloader unlocked. I really have no idea what to do. Some help would be wonderful :/
Thanks

Okay so i was trying to install CM12 alpha on my moto g 1st gen. It worked then i accidentally tried to turn on wifi so then it went into a boot loop i went into TWRP and went to wipe advanced(stupidly) and ticked off data and system so everything was wiped including the os so usb debugging wasnt enabled so there for i cannot execute commands into ADB to reflash stock kitkat I know there MUST be a way to fix this but I cant figure it out can anyone help me please!!
edit: now twrp seems to be going into some kind of a boot loop where it shows teamwin logo then flashes black then back to teamwin i think i have royally ****ed up my phone/ *face palm*
Every restore process I can find seems to require debugging enabled and moto g doesn't have external memory options so loading from sd card wouldn't work. You might have turned your phone into a brick D:

Click to collapse
Then ... a normal restoration you can do it this way (I state that I do not know how a Moto G because I've never had one but it should work)
Download drivers adb your Moto G,
download the factory image,
sends the smartphones in the bootloader,
connect your smartphone to the PC (linux) and a terminal by these codes
Code:
fastboot -w erase data
fastboot -w format system
fastboot flash image (paste the image here)
Hit enter and you will start code-screen, and it will show you the progress of the operation as a normal recovery, pray much and hopefully be successful.
Hi guys, that's my first theard.
I installed CM13 a few days ago, the 20160102 nightly, but its didn't like me so much, my past ROM Slimsaber 5.1 had more features so I preferred it, and today restored my backup from that ROM.
It boots well but when finished to configure all apps it reboot into bootloop, i tried to wipe cache/data but nothing happened.
Then I tried to flash the firmware that I was using (BRAZIL 5.1 retail) and it flashed ok, with no problems. But when I reboot it stays in "bootloader unlocked" image. I tried to flash it again and didn't stay at the "bootloader unlocked" image, but its shows me a screen with a broken Android with the phrase "No command" and immediately disappeared, and then again, like an infinite loop. I don't know if this is useful but, when I turned off the phone to restore the backup I did it with the advanced Reboot menu into Recovery, is it related?
I know that it said, in the CM13 theard that IT CAN NOT BE DOWNGRADED, so I did the backup with TWRP, but I don't know why it bricked. Also I though it could be downgraded by flashing.
Thank you. I hope you can help me!
If you need some info about my phone please request it.
PD: Sorry for my bad English, is not my native languaje.
Edit: Now I connected it to my PC in bootloader mode, and force a reboot with fastboot and its shows the screen with a broken Android and the phrase "No command" and immediatly dissapered, cause if I try to "Normal Powerup" in the bootloader mode its shows the white screen of the unlocked bootloader.
Edit 2: Also I tried to install TWRP, and when I reboot with fastboot, the phone goes directly to TWRP, so I think is bugged or something, since I did reboot to recovery in marshmallow.
Have u fixed ur Moto G ?!
good night. my brother has a moto g on the 5.1 version i guess, never rooted or custom recovery. after a 0% battery and no charge, the device stucked in logo of motorola
the first option is save the device, but data is very important to rescue, so it's priority to me.
the BL was locked, to try flash something i unlock it without loose data, i guess...
i can access BL, 41,1A version. tried fastboot and mfastboot to flash 5.0.2 retail rom and 5.1 stock with no success, boot loop of warning!!
can acess recovery, but can wipe data/factory reset, give a error and boot loop.
adb it's only sideload, and give error of footer, no install any of any file.
on adb apply update from sdcard i can view all my folders that i want to bkp, but how i get them? push and pull doesn't work.
I'm doing something wrong, just do not know what it is...
can someone help me? i read a lot of threads!!
i got this error when try wipe factory reset on stock recovery
blkdiscard on partition /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc failed
and that's it. just wait like another brick in another falcon device.
tks 4 those who read and do nothing!!!
Okay, so I have a Boost Mobile Moto G (Falcon) and I unlocked it, flashed TWRP, and installed SlimROM. I forgot to activate the phone before flashing it with Slim, so I tried flashing the stock 4.4.4 ROM. When I did, it had an error 70 I believe. I then flashed the ROM manually using CMD, and when I rebooted it, it only flashed the Android with the text "No Command" under it. It's just flashing it over and over till I power the phone off. I've installed another recovery (CWM), but when I try to boot into it, it says "Boot up failed".
Is there any possible way to fix this? I made a backup using TWRP, but I accidentally erased it. Right now I'm stuck in the bootloader.
Internal storage also doesn't show up.
My Moto g is stuck at bootloader with the message "WARNING BOOTLOADER UNLOCKED" after I installed netcut app by arcai.com. The phone powered off it self and since then I am going through this problem.
I have tried recovery mode swiping data and cache but the phone is still stuck at the bootloader. How can i resolve this problem?
you can try the factory restore option
You could try flashing the stock rom and see if that solves the problem.
