please help! 3.2 update problem

i updated and now it wont fully boot up. i get to the screen where the honeycomb is going up and down and it just stays there. im having trouble getting it into recovery from adb so if anyone knows what to do please save me.
How long are you waiting because the first time mine booted in 3.2 it took about 10 mins.
Long enough for the xoom to die. I just want to be able to boot into recovery but when I try to from fastboot it doesn't do anything. I hope it's not bricked and there's something that can be done.

Do you have CWM installed? If so, boot the Xoom and at the Moto logo wait about 2-3 secs then press the Vol Down button. This will give you the option for recovery, press Vol Up to get in.
i do have it installed but it wont let me get into it through fastboot or those instructions.
do you think this is bricked?
Hmm. I'd keep resetting it (hold power and Vol Up) and trying to get into CWM. I can't see why this wouldn't work. To reiterate, you want to press vol down after about 2 secs of the Moto dual core image.
awesome, i didnt realize i had to press it down. i kept holding it and getting into fastboot. thanks for the help guys!
Glad to help

soft brick!!

i rooted and bootload unlocked on 2.20 flashed boot.img via fastboot and then flashed cm10. everything work fine. then i decided to flash codename. first thing i did was flash codename boot.img before i did anything and thats where i messed up. cant get into fastboot with power and volume up+down it just goes to htc screen with red warning sign. and when i try to boot up phone it gets to home screen and keeps forclosing not allowing me to do anything....
it sounds like you lost recovery, keep trying to get into bootloader then flash twrp again.

wont let me get into bootloader. the power and volumes just keeps booting the phone up and stuck on infinite forclosing
happend to me a few minutes ago it was nasty try to shut down the phone and then
before it loops quickly power+volume down and after the one xl buttons stop flashing hold the
volume down and keep holding it until bootloader shows up
press and hold power button until capacitive buttons flash 6 times. then hold volume down. phone will boot into bootloader. carry on from there.
The problem is you weren't holding the right keys to get into bootloader.... and everything is fc'ing because your running codenames kernel on cm10.

If you are still facing the problem, press & hold power + vol down button. It will turn your phone off briefly for 2-3 seconds & immediately again press & hold power + vol down button for about 5 seconds. Release it & this should take you to bootloader. And since you flashed twrp you might be familiar with pushing & flashing a rom from recovery.

Nexus 5 D820 Bricked

Hi all,
My Nexus 5was running stock Android M till last week and I wanted Android N. So I rooted my phone installed TWRp and loaded android N by @santhosh. Everything went well but at times some apps kept crashing including TWRP. So I decided to to do a clean wipe. I did a clean wipe from recovery but after that my phone is not booting up. It's stuck on bootloop.
I am not able to boot into recovery mode also is there any way to save my phone?
Pardon my English.
Are you able to access the bootloader (hold power button + vol down until the phone boots)
I suggest using NRT to flash a stock ROM.

No i can't. It will go to bootloader When I press volume down + power but only for a second or so.. After that it'll bootloop.

Sounds like a dead power button?
Not sure, never had this problem.
But that is a common issue
The fact that the phone is not detected by the phone makes it difficult to re-flash a stock ROM.
If it is a power button issue, I recommend removing the motherboard, cleaning around the power button with pure isopropyl alcohol., quickly press and release the power button using a bit more pressure that usual, replace the motherboard, and try again.

LG Stylo 3 Plus recovery mode problem

I have LG Stylo 3 Plus which bootloader is unlocked and installed twrp recovery. All I need to do is to go to recovery mode and flash install SuperSu. As you know, for LG Stylo 3 Plus, you have to press volume down and power button until LG logo pops up and release the power button and press it back until recovery mode comes out. However, for me, I keep getting factory reset screen instead. Help!!!

I don't have this device but, your best bet is to post this question within the following Official TWRP thread for your device.

I'm assuming you found out that the screen for reset is normal for this device. Just select Yes, then yes again to confirm, hold the vol.down and power again, let off only the power key right after the warning screen, press power again and hold down both keys until you see twrp splash screen

I tired this and all it did was factory reset. I didnt get the splash screen :/ the moment I selected yes it went straight to the warning screen before I could press and hold both buttons. IT went from warning screen to the lg screen. then it said erasing... then it just rebooted normally and I had do everything all over again

That should be caused by not pulling the battery after you're in fastboot mode and you flash to the recovery. once the torque is flashed don't turn the phone off and then turn it back on or do ADB reboot or any of that. Make sure you physically open the back and pull the battery out then wait a couple seconds and put it back in and then go through with the steps no better stated above and it should work for you
