Hey guys. I kinda have a question.
I was wondering if I flashed the stock Virgin Mobile firmware on the Sprint S5, would that convert it to a Virgin Mobile S5 and allow it to use a VM SIM card?

Well, flashing the VM firmware would not do anything, I have a VM S5 and flashing the Sprint firmware doesn't do anything so I think it would be the same for you. I am curious to see if using the SIM card would though.

I flashed my sprint s4 running 4.4.2 to ntelos using cdma flasher and only got call and text to work. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. I also still have the sprint sim card plugged in if that has anything to do with it

Newer vzw phones don't actually have a sim lock. You just need to put the new sim in, and add APN info. Not sure if this is the case with the gs3.
I'm using a vzw phone in Spain right now.. Didn't do anything to it.. Inserted new sim, added APN.

For future reference, VZW gs3 works fine with a tmo sim, just add apn's for your carrier, as stated above.
Hi, I have a m8 verizon, I do not rooted my phone yet, I mean this has the original rom, I'm on South America, and I can't update because I use a different phone operator, my question is If I buy a prepaid verizon sim card, can I put it into the phone and update via wireless?

I don't know the answer to your qestion but if you're willing to root it you can update it no problem.

You should be able to update through HTC Sync manager
I am trying to Flash a Sprint ROM (particularly G900PVPU1ANK4 ) to my Boost Mobile Galaxy S5 G900P in order to enable GSM Radio. I have already tired to do this using Odin, however, I have exactly the same looks and feel as the Boost Mobile ROM. I also don't see the GMS radio in the selection or GSM/UMTS.
As you can see my idea is to use this phone on a GSM network internacionally.
Will flashing to Sprint ROM help?
Is there any other way to do this?
So I've heard that you can flash an S7 from one carrier to another using ODIN. I haven't been able to find out if this is possible to use on Virgin Mobile. I found this article...

That says the only S7 you can use on Virgin is a "special edition" one that you buy at Best Buy. Is it possible to flash my phone to that firmware?
