How do I enable pop-up view gesture? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note5

I upgraded to Marshmallow and pop-up view gesture worked fine for a few days, and now it doesn't work. It won't let me turn it back on because it's greyed out and untappable. I thought maybe another phone setting caused it to be disabled, but I can't figure out what it could be. Help?!
In case you don't know, it's in settings -> advanced features -> pop-up view gesture.

[Q] Double tap for "screen on" (SOLVED)

Hi Guys,
Till a recent reboot I had the possibility to double tap on the screen to "turn on" the screen.
All gestures work on the screen at the moment (V - circle - two fingers - next / previous song) except for screen on.
Is there a setting that I accidentally used?
Any thoughts?
Tnx
Check: settings > display &led scroll down to advanced option "double tap to..."
Should manage that problem
Geri.st
Settings -> Display -> Gestures -> Double tap.
If you use a kernel other than stock, ensure that the option is enabled as well (they're enabled by default on kernels)

So many customizations that you get lost ... its great having options to customize your phone the way you want it to be though.
Enjoy.

Accessibility icon

Hello, how can I disable the accessibility icon in the button bar ?
Maybe it's impossible
Same issue here. I had it activated for something to do with FFBE on my other phone and it carried over to my OnePlus. Unfortunately, there is no option to disable or enable it, they've seemingly only added "triple tap to zoom" and hidden the icon zoom.

Sorry to hear that...it's quite annoying for me because this button use the right place of the back button of my old OP3 !
I tried the navigation gestures ans it's no no no...
Cheers
Disable the android Accessibility suite. Search for it in your settings, disable the app and it should go away.

Stop access to pull down in screen lock

On Stock system and if screen is locked I can still access the pull down menu to turn on WiFi etc
How can I get it so this is not possible if phone locked
Thanks
I'm on the latest Android 10 beta so I don't know if it's the same, but go to settings, security and lockscreen, then tap the gear icon that's next to "screen lock", then enable the option "disable quick settings panel on lock screen"

broken 'work profile/show notifications content' after Android 10 update

Hello,
I have a problem on SM-N975F after Android 10 update.
I'm using Work profile, and got "show notifications content" enabled. Problem is that even if it's enabled in 'Settings -> Work profile -> Notifications and data -> Show notifications content' it does not work, and even if I disable this option, go one menu level up and return again it's again enabled.
Any ideas how to fix it? maybe some way to reset work profile settings?
Thank you for your help!

Prevent instant lockscreen activation (Bring back "automatically lock after timeout")

Prevent instant lockscreen activation (Bring back "automatically lock after timeout")
Premise:
I moved from LineageOS to MIUI 11 since a couple of months and I was immediately bothered by having to unlock my phone every time, even if I used it one minute ago. I have face recognition and the fingerprint sensor is fast, but that doesen't help (trusted networks/devices neither in my case). Apparently, there is no option to lock the screen after a period of inactivity and the typical "solution" I've seen around was just disabling the lockscreen or using a third-party one.
So, after a bit of search I found an alternative, quite simple and yet a bit hidden.
It requires CustoMIUIzer (so yes, root, possibly with Magisk, and the EdXposed module) and Tasker.
In CustoMIUIzer you should go in System > Lock screen > Disable screen lock and select "Enable mod". If in the settings below you select "Disable completely" in "Disable screen lock" menu and turn on "Skip lock screen", when you will turn off and on your screen you will see that the lockscreen doesn't appear. You can put it back to "System default" but leave "Skip lock screen" enabled.
Now let's make this easier with Tasker, that has a plugin for CustoMIUIzer. The simplest way is making a button or shortcut in your launcher that you would press to disable and enable lockscreen manually when you want, without going everytime in CustoMIUIzer. The other way is automating the process with a couple of profiles (and tasks): the first one will trigger on display unlock, disable lockscreen and set a time (eg. 10min later) when the second one will trigger and enable lockscreen again. The second task could also be used to lock the screen manually.
For simplicity, I'll attach my files and screenshots. That's not necessarily the best setting, but it works well. I set the timeout to 10 minutes (in "lockOff", %TIMES+60*10). The task that disables lock ("lockOff") creates a toast notification when you turn on the screen, so you can remove the last three actions if everithing is working. Both profiles have to be active. Make sure that Tasker won't be killed by MIUI or battery savers, maybe lock it in recent apps.
