Hi Guys,
Till a recent reboot I had the possibility to double tap on the screen to "turn on" the screen.
All gestures work on the screen at the moment (V - circle - two fingers - next / previous song) except for screen on.
Is there a setting that I accidentally used?
Any thoughts?
Tnx
Check: settings > display &led scroll down to advanced option "double tap to..."
Should manage that problem
Geri.st
Settings -> Display -> Gestures -> Double tap.
If you use a kernel other than stock, ensure that the option is enabled as well (they're enabled by default on kernels)

So many customizations that you get lost ... its great having options to customize your phone the way you want it to be though.
Enjoy.

Smart Touch - Touch it your way
Smart Touch substitute navigation bar ( back button, home, recently app) completely with a movement on screen. You can a finger and move up, move down, move left, move right to perform a corresponding action such as back button, turn off screen, go to home screen, open notification, open recently app, turn on/off flash light, open any application what you want.
Key Features:

- Come back screen before
- Turn on/off flash light
- Open notification
- Open recently app
- Open any application you want
- Open list of app you frequently use
- Automatically turn off screen when you put your phone into pocket, and open when you hold it.

# Add double tap to lock scree (you can change this function completely)
# Add more choice in personal movement
# Improve Smart Touch more smooth and more accurate
# Auto start when restart your phone
# Change display settings a bit
# Fix restart position when rotate screen
All above you can do with a movement
Display settings:
- With Smart Touch you can change color, transparent of list menu what you want and change color, size , position of Smart Touch on screen...
Especially, Smart Touch can work when lock screen, you can open notification, turn on /off flash light without open screen.

Next update will change menu favorite app to edge
Does this disable the stock navbar?
Suggestion. Can you add switch to recent app and kill foreground app?

Installed and very impressive. Thanks Developer.
However, is it possible to make "open center notification" to be done in my Galaxy Note 5? It says that "this function don't support my device".
I'm now running Android 6.0.1. Maybe there are some restrictions on this action in Marshmallow...
The new version update 1.6.2

Did you try it
I upgraded to Marshmallow and pop-up view gesture worked fine for a few days, and now it doesn't work. It won't let me turn it back on because it's greyed out and untappable. I thought maybe another phone setting caused it to be disabled, but I can't figure out what it could be. Help?!
In case you don't know, it's in settings -> advanced features -> pop-up view gesture.
After updating to android 10 reachability cursor stopped working are there any other alternatives?
Would like to know too.
I have started working on a "replacement" for personal use, perhaps someone else will find it useful. It's really barebones right now with no configuration options at all.
To get the app working, first you'll need to allow "Display over other apps" by going to: Settings -> Apps & notifications -> One Hand Cursor -> Advanced.
After that, enable the app's accessibility service by going to: Settings -> Accessibility -> One Hand Cursor service.
Once this is done, it should be possible to swipe from either the left or right lower edge of the screen to bring the tracker and cursor into the screen.
The source code can be found here.
It doesn't work very well with the new navigation gestures in Android 10.
A great app.

It works great!
I use it in addition to the Fluid Navigation Gestures app.
I just installed it on my onePlus 6t and allowed Accessibility and Display over other apps. When I open the app, it is stuck on the Home Screen, I suppose, it says "Hello World", a pink play button in the right bottom corner. Could anyone help, please!

You don't have to do anything else than enable display over apps and then accessibility and it just works.
From the sides you can swipe and point anywhere on the screen.
Opening the app is useless.

Do try and get it up on the Play Store. It's fantastic having a one handed cursor again. Thank you!
Ur a genius, using with ROG 2 (Android10-Gesture Nav)
This app made my life so much easier as I have a big phone, maybe some feedback for upgrades if ur open to hearing;
Make cursor able to do gestures like scroll through I web pages eg. (Swipe)
Also being able to access notifications menu would be good, as cursor disappears for me once it passed top area of screen.
& Maybe a colour change for trackpad thinking maybe white or grey sort of classic look.
My Workaround:
(I know it doesn't work the best with gestures Nav enabled but I think I can get the hang of it+back is to swipe L/R but when I use your app I only need tap bottom L/R of my screen to show trackpad) + (I added to my start-up menu on phone)
Many thanks for sharing :good:
I think you made a really good app man, congrats.

If you tap twice on the notifications bar, it expands notification and quick settings.

Sometimes you have to disable and enable these more than once to make it work.
I just released an alternative to that app, you can find it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.quickcursor
Thanks!
I Got a New Button on Navigation Bar, After Updating to MiUi 11 Manually. That button/Icon Looks Like a Human Standing With Hands Wide Open, in the bottom right corner.. And i am not able to disable or make it go away from there. There is no option anywhere to do so.
My roommate also updated with the same zip file which i gave him but there is no such button in his phone.
Anyone Esle Got this Same Button after Update ? What is this New Navigation Button ? How to Remove it ?
I updated from MiUi 10.3.13.0 to 11.0.5.0, via 2GB Zip File Provided In XDA, Redmi Note 7 Pro(Violet) India..

I tried it before only, The Accesibility Shortcut Button Option is Already Off, I Never Touched it to turn on or anything. It just appeared after MiUi 11 Update.
You Can See It In Screenshot That the Button Shortcut Option is Turned Off :-

Just updated and it happened to me too. Any solution? It's really annoying tbh
I had the same problem on my Redmi note 7, but solved by the following way: going to accessibility menu --> display --> magnification --> magnification with button -- turn it off. (It's not enough, if only accessibility menu or magnification is turned off, you have to turn off also the "m.w.b" button)

Are u sure ? Then it shouldn't gib
Check accessibility menu --> display --> magnification --> magnification with button -- turn it off.
Alternatively, ditch the Nav buttons altogether and use Gestures instead. Once you've got used to Gestures, you'll never miss those buttons ever again!
From a recent convertee...
I just fixed mine.
For some reason if you go through the normal path, settings > additional settings > accessibility > accessibility menu, and disable it, it doesn't work.
If you use the search function in the settings, 'accessibility menu' is duplicated I don't know why.
https://i.imgur.com/3JWfFbY_d.jpg?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium
You have to disable it in both of them to make the icon go away.

hi bro,
jst go to
accessibility
interaction controls
accessibility menu
switch off
control your device using convenient shortcuts
thats all
Finally after a few months i disable the man like in navigation buttons
Just force stop or uninstall updates the Android Accessibility Suite, and the icon will disappear:fingers-crossed:
I just fixed mine. Try to turn on accessibility mode, and then turn it off again. Then the standing man button disappear. Thank God. Mine is mi max 3 miui 11.
Sulution
Please off Accessibility and inside that menu off select to speak also I have fixed this issue recently
This solved it for me. Thank you.
I know this kinda old thread but I also had this issue. Turns out I also activated Nova (launcher) accessibility shortcut - the lower part - while granted accessibility access to Nova. Even if I disabled the accessibility menu the 'T' man was still there. Bottom line, when granting accessibility tick only the first option. I felt like a complete idiot.

How can I get it so this is not possible if phone locked
Thanks
I'm on the latest Android 10 beta so I don't know if it's the same, but go to settings, security and lockscreen, then tap the gear icon that's next to "screen lock", then enable the option "disable quick settings panel on lock screen"
