Updated Stock Music App to Marshmallow - G900P - Sprint Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So after realizing that the Good Lock APK would run on any samsung phone on MM, I downloaded the APK of the newest Samsung Music app. Initially I just tried installing it as an update for the marshmallow/lollipop stock version of the Music App which caused weird UI bugs. The tracks tab was just a repeat of the playlist tab and there was no side scroll bar. However, after uninstalling the old stock music app with Titanium back up and than installing the new music app APK there are no more bugs and it is running fine.

Nice to know. I don't use the Samsung Music app but it nice to see someone experimenting with the MM apps seeing what "just works" without actually having to mod the apk or the system.

[Q] Music Effects App

About a week ago I installed the MusicFX app that added some cool music settings that I could access in the music player. This was when I was on the Gingerbread leak with Blur. When I went into the settings it gave me options such as "Ambient", "Live Performance", and "Surround" for the 3D audio effect and the only equalizer setting I can remember was called "Bass Punch". It did not have sliders for the bass or the 3D effect.
I then installed the APEX 2.0 beta on the phone. I no longer had access to those presets mentioned above. Only the general equalizer settings and the sliders shown in screenshots for the MusicFX app. Before I remove APEX and going back to rooted Blur on Gingerbread, I'm wondering if I missed something. I've tried installing earlier versions of the MusicFX app as well as other music players to see if that's what I was using before. I've also tried searching for information on that music settings screen with no luck.
Has anyone else seen the menu I'm talking about? Any ideas on what combination of apps, roms, versions I would need to get it back? Any and all input would be great. Thanks ahead of time.
I think the MusicFX plugin only works with music players that have decided to integrate the new features.
I know that the Google Music 3.0 player in the market works with the plugin, but I'm not sure of others.

I know that, and it does work. I have access to the sliders in the menu.
However, the MusicFX screen was different before I put APEX on my DX. I've tried everything I can think of to get the "old" menu back as I don't like messing with sliders.
Maybe this will help:
Before putting APEX beta on, this menu was on the android music app. Then I downloaded the Google Music app beta from the market. The Music Beta had the sliders showing when I accessed the MusicFX screen. As I stated before, I prefer the preset options so I uninstalled the Music beta and went back to the stock player. The "old" style menu was there in the stock player.
I haven't installed the Google Music Beta (I have no reason to yet). As far as I can tell, the switch to APEX either replaced the stock music app, or I really wasn't using the stock one before.

Media Files no longer available using Stock Apps

Not sure if this is related to Pingpong root or not but media files no longer show up using the stock music or gallery apps.
I've installed a different gallery app and I can see them.
Looks like my media scanning isn't working right.
Anyone see this or have any suggestions?

Bug on Samsung Music App

Hello, i'm on Androind Nougat stock, and sometimes my Music app shows like the attached image, any idea or help?
Anyone?
It's beacause Linkin Park ended in 2012 lol.
Returning to subject try to reinstall app or clear its data. You can also try to install Galaxy S8 music app it should update over full stock S7

I want to use an old version of Google Play Music but I can't.

So, I like the old Google Play Music app. It was simple and worked just fine. YouTube Music is clunky, and I don't stream my music anyway, it's all on my phone.
However, even with me disabling automatic updates for it, my phone will still update it after a day or two.
I tried re-signing it but then after uninstalling it and installing the resigned version it just crashes at start.
Is there any way, without root, to keep the app from updating or getting another signature to work with it?
My phone is a LG v60, on At&t.
