What exactly do you mean by the white balance?
You mean the colours don't look right?
When I use any MM Rom even stock my screen looks awful yet somehow on Lollipop it seems fine...
Something like this?

This is similar to what I have. My GF has a z3 and since mine got repaired (had stuck pixels) the screen looks awful on Marshmallow ROMs. Hers is all bright and white and on mine all the colours are washed out and red on Marshmallow, yet Lollipop I can't notice a problem.
What android version are your two D6633 on?
And for anyone else: does anyone know what this colour difference is caused by? It bugs me so much so I can't use Marshmallow but I would really like to use the update.

Does the colour difference bother you? Is it a problem or just something you noticed?
I think screens can be slightly different from each other so it might be normal.
Which colour do you think is best? 6.0.1 or 5.1.1
For me 6.0.1 looks darker and not as nice
PS I don't know how to check the manufacturer of the screen but it likely is official, unless you had it replaced at a non-Sony centre. I just find it interesting that someone else saw this difference too

【NEWS】【HTC One S in Japan】【Much more stylish and better】
Hello people,
I am just wondering how you guys think about this HTC One S phone in Japanese Edition.
It is called HTC J.
Appearance
The appearance is totally different from HTC One S.
The shape of HTC J is much more stylish and cuter than HTC One S.

We can have black, white and red color.
Battery Life

HTC one S is 1650mah.

Definitely agree it looks much better. Not much of a fan of the One or the Rezound with their huge "eyeball" camera on the back. I also hate the black bezel/edging on the white One, it looks like butt. Monochrome is a thing of beauty.
Oooh, just saw the battery as well. They'd better get an upgraded battery option out there.

Any idea where we can get a dump from one of these? It might be really neat to try to port this to the One S just for the sake of saying it can be done.

A better design for Japan, I notice most of the phones have different designs in different countries..
Looks like a combo of iPhone, Samsung with HTC Android UI.

just get FKU and use the colour profiles to adjust it, all the screens will be slightly different colour depending on manufacturing run so you have to tweak it to normal manually
from your OTHER thread thats the same.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54123818&postcount=4
every single screen will variate, every one will be slightly different. and the screen color itself will change depending what kind of light you are standing in. his yellow screen might look much better in sunlight or fluorescent light, then in the incandescent light you are in.
What is FKU?
The yellow screen will get whiter with use. Give it a couple weeks

Franco Kernel Updater... it's one of several kernal tweakers. A custom kernal like Franco allows you to change the color profile or if you install ElementalX, you can choose a pre-defined cooler color profile during the installation without the need for a kernel tweaker.

If you ask me, the right one looks a little bluish :silly:
If it does wither away (I doubt it), well and good otherwise you will need a custom kernel which supports gamma calibration by which you can set profiles to change the color.

I don't think it will but this is the perfect opportunity to test it.
OP, report back to us in a couple weeks if there are any changes. I think that most people's eyes just adjust to the slight yellow hue but with another screen to compare against, the difference will remain visible.

I think this is Exynos but I cannot be certain. Any application I use to check the specs comes back as "Processor Unknown"
In regards to the pictures, all I can say is the first few were taken in extremely dark environments and whilst I was pleased with the results when viewing on screen, when enlarged they are not fantastic.
HOWEVER I don't think I have ever used a camera on a smartphone as good as this in low light. In normal lighting conditions, the 6S Plus (my daily driver) seems better but this is without extensive testing, the S7 really shines in low light situations.
It's as great camera and I doubt anybody will have any issues with its performance.
In regards to the S7 itself, there is the occasional lag on the operating system however all in all it builds on last year and it's much smoother.
I've owned every Galaxy S device, and by far this is the best generation but anybody coming from an S6 will struggle to be excited. It's certainly not as fluid as a 6P, which I have owned too.

I would think because that is how most people actually take pictures when it is dark... So it is a real world test, not some theoretical/lab nonsense.

Really for a low light test you really shouldn't be using the flash lol.
Maybe so, but pretty much everyone I know leaves the settings all on auto, which usually uses the flash when it's dark.

If you use the flash which we all know is a light source then how can you test how the camera performs in low light?

Hi,
Just installed rounded corners app from playstore..
It has completely changed the look of the device..

Now it looks more like S8 and Pixel 2 XL..
Please do try...U will surely love it.
Also an additional edge light feature is there where the screen edge will flash if a notification comes[Only when screen is turned on].

I actually just flashed 8.0 AOSP and am liking the non-rounded corners since it's showing the entire screen. Maybe I'll go back to rounded corners eventually, but nothing more rounded than stock.
