Hi,
About 5 months ago I bought a pink phone, I would like to have full control over the system. I tried to root in different ways but it does not work for him. Unfortunately, the drivers on the internet you can not even get the usb to work as it should. I downloaded from the manufacturer update the file as I found out it is a complete room system. And here begins my question is where the power to change my root privileges? Can anyone has had with this phone to do, he did something like that, or can I modify the package properly?
I ask for help if you need any information please write.

Need help to unlock bootloader!
Hi guys. So, I just got a Y330 - which is cool. It's rooted, which is even cooler. Can I unlock the bootloader? Can I heck. It would be easier to pull teeth out of a hen's beak!
I have tried everything conceivable, I've googled it to death, and I'm not paying $30 to do with this, what I could do with my (sadly defunct) G510-0100! So, does anyone here know please, a free (relatively easy) way for me to take Emotion UI 2.0 off this handset? I tried the unlocker it gives at the Huawei Club website, but the phone model isn't listed, and I can't get my phone to tell me the Product ID, which makes it useless

Cannot root the damn phone
Hello,i could use some help with rooting the y330.
Ive tried every rooting program there is and nothing.

SRSroot
The only time it succeded was with rootgenius but only for a few minutes, after that it unroots itself again.
If anyone has any more ideas please share!

Hi, I have bought this done two day ago and yesterday, I was searching also how to root this device. So to root your done,
1. Download 4shared app on Google play
2. Open and search for: ROOT MASTER+SUPER SU+ ROOT CHECKER. ZIP
It is a zip file,
Size: 3.27Mb.
Go to your file manager in download and open zip then install.
After install, you open Root master. It is in Chinese but you will see where it is written root.
Caution: do not touch the red bouton.

So I've been working on creating a ROM based on the original one combined with a few of my own modifications as well as some mods from Speedys material mod - and now, I think it is ready for sharing with you guys.
It is rooted and lots of Huawei stuff is gone. Finally, I actually kinda like the phone now.
To install it, first get CWM installed. Then simply copy zip to an SD Card and install it. Please let me know what you think about it - and feel free to push the Thanks! button.

For what submodel is this? There are Huawei Y330-u01 u05 u07 u11, idk if there is u05 but flashing on diffrent device will make it bootloop

My specs:
Model G6-U10 (3G version)
Build # (last few digits) C900B117
As far as rooting goes, yup, I had same SD card problem after rooting with Towel Root. So unrooted it. And then used Root Genius 1.9.6 which works perfectly. No SD card problems and can RW with Root Explorer no problem. I already disabled the hardware volume keys (edited the keypad .kl files) so I know the root is working as it should. And I have no problem navigating all around the storage(s) unlike after rooting with Towel. So I would say it is a complete full root. Have had no problems with rooted apps so far: AdAway, Root Explorer & Titanium Backup.
Only problem I am having with this phone is the auto-brightness feature. I thought my first G6 had a defective hardware light sensor which controls the auto brightness so I exchanged it out for another new one but the second new one also has this same problem. Basically the problem is that the screen will go full bright (over-sensitive light sensor) even with only very dim lamp light in a dark room. Thinking perhaps the problem lies with the firmware I have been trying out various autobrightness apps that use their own algorithms such Lux Auto Brightness and Brightness Manager. Both these apps will display the current lux (lx, brightness level) that the phone is currently experiencing. Normally it will be about 10lx in a dim room. But with the dim lamp on in a dim room and if the phone even catches even a tiny bit of the dim lamp face on, the lx will jump all the way up to 10,240(!) which is the same as being outside in full sunlight. So of course the stupid phone thinks it is outside and so the screen goes FULL BRIGHT even though you are in a dim room with only a little bit of lamp light. Very ****ty if you ask me.
Otherwise the phone is pretty sweet. I was looking at the P6 last year and it was just a tad too big (5" screen), 4.6" is as big as I want to go and as big a phone as I want to carry around. So the G6's 4.5" screen and thin design makes it quite nice. And the price is cheap(er), I got it for 9,000 pesos (around $200 U.S.) in the philippines. So far I can't complain about the 8mp rear or 5mp front cameras of the G6. But to get widescreen pics with the G6 you will have to set your camera app (I use Snap Camera) to 6mp rear and 4mp front. Otherwise you will get squarish pics if you use the highest 8/5mp settings.
Oh one thing I noticed is the stock app "Phone Manager" which runs all the time is quite devilish so I froze it with Titanium Backup. Basically it would stop all currently running apps when the phone was in sleep mode (screen off). Seems it's battery saving attempts are quite high and I couldn't find any settings to make it stop doing that. So I just froze the darn thing and now all my running apps (Gravity Screen etc) keep running even in sleep. The other features of Phone Manager I don't think are needed anyway.
I will update this thread if I run into any new problems or anything noteworthy of the G6. Cheers

I will try rootgenius when my phone is back from repair at Huawei.
I will also test the auto brightness feature, but in normal use I'm not using it because it drains your battery.

Okay, I guess I need to revise these statements. I had came to the Huawei after having a Sony Xperia M which had very smooth autobrightness. So while yes, the Huawei G6 may have a touch oversensitive auto-adjust brightness when compared to the Sony, it sure is heeps better than the other phones I have tried in the meantime since I wrote the above. So I am unsure as to whether to label it as a problem or not since it sure is better than other phones but not as good as the Sony. Perhaps I am just nitpicking.
But since the Huawei autobrightness does bother me I have since started using an app called "Brightness Slider" by a Korean developer. The free version works great with only unobtrusive occasional ads within the app itself. Can easily select the screen brightness, can easily select auto brightness on/off and even goes below 0. Have noticed no probs with it.
Now I am just waiting on a black hard case, shipped from China today through ebay

i have used root Genius to root my G6-10U.
Everithing worked fine for a while. But now i cant install or update Apps.
I always getting the message that there is no more space, but there is enought.
I have 400 MB free on internal and 8 GB on SD.
I have used cache cleaner and the huawei tool for cleaning the phone, but still the same problem.
I have downgraded the play store, with no result.
Can someone give me a hint?

Do all those rooting methods leave the bootloader Locked as it seems to have happened with my G6-U10 after rooting it with Kingo?
I first tried to unroot it with RootGenius with no success than I used Towellroot that blocked my internal memory and after having removed the root with SuperSu I finally rooted it successfully with Kingo.

I thought I`d successfully rooted my G6-L11 with Kingo and installing SuperSu afterwards, but Titanium Backup did not worked propperly, even the pro versión, telling that there was not enough space for Apps backup. (wich was impossible though).
Finally I rooted again with "KingRoot" and everything works fine so far. I did not even remove the previous root. I uninstalled SuperSu manually and kept "KingUser" as super user App.
I hope this could be useful for someone.

I have a Huawei G6-U00. The only software that can root it properly is KingoRoot. However, I don't have access to internal storage after rooting without root access...
I unrooted until the problem is fixed.
To unroot the telephone and have it working again: root it and then unroot it with KingoRoot.
Tested only on models G6-U10 and G6-U00! Requires an unlocked bootloader!
Instructions:
1. Download and unpack the contents of the ADB in the root of drive C [Download]
2. Download the CWM [Download] or TWRP [Download]
3. Copy the downloaded file to the root folder ADB
4. Connect your phone to the computer in Fastboot (Bootloader).
5. When holding the Shift key, right click on the folder ADB and select the "Open Command Window"
6. At the command prompt, enter without the quotes "fastboot flash recovery cwm.img" (Where there is marked in blue, enter the name and extension of your file)
7. Press Enter and you're done. (Phone can be loaded into Recovery mode follows on the machine is off, hold down the VOL + and Inclusion)

At this moment I am working on a diagram so you can see which G6 versions er are, which firmware, and if that version is:
rootable, unlockable, if there is custom recovery, downgradable. etc...

I have a Huawei that i roort with RootGenius_en, the program installed Kinguser and at the time of installation the Kinguser ask for update and I performed . But as I prefer the SuperSu downloaded from google play and I performed the steps that indicate one of the posts , i gave the the privileges to SuperSu but the same could not install the binary at all. As the KingUser is presented as virus in many sites i uninstalled but the system never was equal and had to look for a ROM to tackle .

Anybody rooted this phone? I found no recoveries, no custom roms, no root on xda, google for this phone..
I have Huawei Y6 Pro , TIT-L01 with MT6735.
Kingroot, as i used in my previous s3 mini, not worked.
Out of topic:
Even, i looked into Aida64 and it shows that camera can record up to 3840x2167 videos, wich is 4K. Other camera apps showing option to record 1080, 2160p videos, no errors , no problems while recording, but video will be saved in 480p. Its not important, but its good to know how/why?

Hmm. What about the usual tool of XDA-Developers (Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry)?
If that also doesn't work, you may have to boot your device using CWM recovery, mount the /system partition in RW and push the su binary and SuperSU.apk manually and set the correct permissions and enable the setuid bit on those. But I recommend doing that only if you are a linux pro (or at least an average linux user).
I dont have pc now .
As i said, there is no recovery for Y6 Pro. And i tried install supersu.zip by stock recovery, but doesnt allow. But thanks

Hey there, I think we have the same phone and facing the same problem. I tried every single way to root it without Unlocking bootloader yet no good. The only way is to officially unlock bootloader and then install Kingroot and root it. However, my problem is I couldn't get the Model number using *#*#1357946#*#* as it disappears right after pressing the last star . Any ideas?
When typing *#*#1357946#*#* and type last *, phone close dialer and returns to homescreen. Proably same as NOUROU

You should change the language into chinese (first one) and the try again the code will work.
Changing language to Chinese worked and phone showed successfully Product iD. Now need to find way to root.

Hi guys, Happy 2017 for all, I have this phone for start the new year, but I live in Argentina, of course LTE isn't working, only 3G and variants, and I want to unlock the bands, but when I'm in the DATA MENU, The edit menu ask me for MSL CODE, and I'm tired of searching a solution, nothing works, so, maybe you guys knows something about this, I'm using 6.0.1 now, I don't know what I need to do, I can downgrade also. the only way I know is by using galaxy tools. i sent you the two files you need. those files were meant to work on lollipop. Root phone, install gt 3.1.5, open it and grant it root permission, then install 3.1.8 update, click the big 'update' button, and reboot phone immediately after updating. Then, open the galaxy tools app again from the app drawer, and you will be able to see the msl code.

All you have to do before installing anything is just copy the "su" file that you can find in either /su/bin or /su/xbin and paste it in either /system/bin or /system/xbin, and just follow the same instructions above for installing galaxy tools.
