Display Panel Issue - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone, I noticed something happening with my phone so I decided to ask whether it is just my phone that is doing it. So basically when I press a little bit harder on the right side of the screen near the metal I can see the front panel moving down a bit. If i I press it a couple times more it stops and it can be done after an hour again. Is this something to worry about?

Loose Screen

Hey all,
I sent my phone to my mobile provider some time ago to get a few issues fixed, when it came back the screen was really loose. I mean if u touch it it wobbles... if you press the power on button holding the phone with one hand then the actual screen will tilt, thats how loose it is. If you look at it closely, you can also actually see that the screen is not inline with the back half of the phone, it kinda hangs over a little bit.
What im wondering, is there a guide or something that can help me tighten the screen up abit so its not as loose.. it gets really anoying at times.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thank you!

tf101 shuts down when applying pressure to the lower right

All in the title. Anyone have any idea why this happens? It started doing it fairly recently (I've had this tablet for more than a year now) and its frustrating especially when it happens whenever I pick up the tablet
Would seem like a lose connection or something. I'd suggest you carefully open it, and make sure everything is connected properly. If it is, try re-seating all the connectors, especially the display.
Could be a crack in the board / cable come loose / short or earth
Do you hear a rattle in yours? In that area I hear a rattle and my tablet doesn't rotate so I assume that's the location of the accelerometer.

Mine does something similar... It doesn't turn the system off, it just turns the screen off from what I've noticed. So just two taps on the power button and your are good to go I think.

Touch screen going crazy

The random bottom part of the phones touch screen starts to be randomly pressed,
It’s like the phone has a mind of its own, sometime is a few phantom presses and others it’s a full battle to keep the phone from random opening apps and calling people till I hit the lock button or pull the battery.
I have seen a few post about the phone over heating causing this, at 1st it seemed to be my issue, but now the phone does this while feeling relatively cool and right after removing the battery for a bit.
after some time the issue almost stops, this time i have a bit of a dead zone near the bottom right.
can this be calibrated or do i need to replace the part?

I think your display digitizer is acting up. Try a different ROM and if the problem persists I think you should get it replaced

Hello, you solved the problem of their touch screen? My work normal, but suddenly begins to do the same as yours.
Newbie Searching for help!
I literally just joined, and this is my first time doing something like this. So, I don't know how to request help for specific issues concerning my LG Zone 3. Can you give me some direction? I chose you because you are a senior member and i have similar complications with my keyboard.
Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon.

[Q] Screen makes clicking noise when pressed harder

hello,
I just bought my nexus 5 about 2 weeks ago and now I seem to have a hardware screen issue with it, about 4-5 days ago I noticed that when I pressed a bit harder on the middle right portion of the screen it makes a weird clicking noise like it is not glued properly to the body frame anymore and sticks a little when I press on it but then pops up again.
I have never dropped the phone and I was wondering if anybody else had this issue, and if yes is there a quick way to fix it or should I try going back to the store and get a replacement phone ?
thank you in advance

Notification Bar Activates When Touching Below the Bar

I had my battery replaced last week. Upon receiving it back, I've noticed the notification bar will pull down even when I touch about 1/2 inch below it. For example, touching the Twitter home button in the top left corner will pull down notifications instead of taking me to the top of my feed. I've re-calibrated the G-sensor, factory reset (keeping on a flat, level surface), and rebooted in safe mode. The problem persists. The company that replaced my battery said they ran all of the troubleshooting they could find. This issue seems to be a hardware issue and not software. So my question is twofold. First, has anyone else ever experienced this problem and, second, could the company have damaged something internally causing this issue?
Edit: Not rooted, no custom rom.
Thank you in advance for any help.

This probably doesn't help you but... I've had several m8's now. The first was a loaner from a friend, and on that phone the only way to activate the notification bar was LITERALLY to swipe down from OFF the top of the screen. On that phone, the glass was flush with the bezel at the top, maybe even recessed. At the bottom it was not quite flush.
On the one I have now, the glass is not quite flush with the bezel on the top AND bottom (not so far that it's "coming unglued", just a hair, just enough to feel as you swipe onto the screen) and the notification bar works "correctly" but can be a little overzealous (not as bad as what you describe).
The other one I tried out was roughly the same as the one I have now.
I wonder if the digitizer positioning has anything to do with it? These two newer ones also have a tiny bit of light bleed from the top edge. I've been tempted to heat it up and push down the glass to seat everything a little more firmly, but nothing seems "wrong".
As I said, not sure if this will help you at all, just giving you more data points.
