Adding Verizon to Network Operators?

I unlocked my MyTouch 4g (Glacier) and I want to use my Verizon sim card in it but it does not detect Verizon in the network operators. How do I get verizon on there? Is it possible? I thought unlocking it would allow me to do this.

Verizon does not use 'SIM' cards
as 'SIM' cards are used for GSM networks and Verizon is a CDMA provider

I did google this extensively. The phone that I have here is on the verizon network and has a sim card. Why would I make that up?

Verizon is a CDMA network. The SIM card is there because the phone you have also has a GSM radio for traveling overseas. However, just because it says "Verizon" on the SIM card doesn't mean your phone connects to Verizon when you roam. It's actually connecting to Vodafone when you're roaming in most countries. That's what the SIM card slot is for. Now if you unlocked that phone, you could use it on T-Mobile or AT&T if you set it to GSM Mode.
That Verizon phone will work in the US and Canada whether or not that SIM card is in there. It's impossible to get a GSM phone (your MyTouch 4G) to work on a CDMA network (Verizon).

You can't flash a SIM number to a CDMA phone.

LG G2 D800 now Unlocked... question regarding CDMA

Im about to unlock my phone for use with Verizon, and I wanted to double check something since I'll have to wait until later to do it.
I was informed that my ATT LG G2 wouldn't be compatible with a Verizon SIM since it's CDMA, but I searched around and it appears as though this phone supports the CDMA network.
Would it work?

I would like to know
SIM and CDMA are not the same thing. Verizon uses SIM cards with 4G LTE part of their service. If have a phone that's only 3G then that's CDMA and don't have a SIM card. Also Verizon only "allows" Verizon branded phones on their network. Which is not to hard to get around for the 3G CDMA no SIM needed service BUT I am not sure "IF" its "POSSIBLE" or "HOW TO" if you want to use it on Verizons 4G LTE like I do!
I'm going to ask here and in a another forum that has a lot of LG G2 activity.
The D800 model will not work on Verizon's network, as the D800 does not support CDMA. It doesn't matter if it is unlocked, it will only work GSM networks.

[Q] Can I unlock LG Optimus F3 LS720 Virgin mobile to use international GSM SIM?

Last year in black friday deal I mistakenly bought LG Optimus F3 LS720 Virgin mobile and did not notice is CDMA version. My plan was to unlock it later and use internation GSM SIM while travelling but it is CDMA. So is there any way can I unlock it and use GSM SIM?
Also how to know that your phone is hybrid / Global (support both CDMA & GSM)? If CDMA cell phone conatin SIM slot does it mean it can be unlocked and can be used on GSM network?

Unlock Lg G5 Verizon

is the Lg G5 Verizon is unlocked and can be used for any GSM carrier in united states?
Yes.
Yeah this phone is unlocked but I am not able to get 4g or 4G LTE on the phone with H2O Wireless
LG G5 Verizon has 3 network mode
1. Global this mode gives H (HPSA) and calling on H2O wireless
2. LTE/CDMA this gives 4G LTE but on calling it says SIM Card error or no SIM Found
3. LTE/GSM/UMTS - This initially offers 4G but as i start calling it change the Data service to HPSA
Any Solution Guys?
I tried everything but seems like Verizon Lg G5 only support the HPSA for GSM network and do not support 4G LTE for CDMA networks..
I dont know how to change the bands etc on Verizon Lg G5
