Battery Issue for Xperia Z5 Dual E6633 - Xperia Z5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can anyone help me ?
I got Xperia Z5 Dual E6633 a week ago and I have some problems with Battery draining here is the way it`s discharging after I fully charged it.
1-When the device is on Idle mode and im not using it, like over night ( during night to morning ), after ,let`s say 8 hours, the device dropes about 3 percents ( WIFI is OFF, Data network is OFF, Bluetooth is OFF and the Preferred network is set to "GSM Only" )
actually when the battery charge is getting less and less e.g. around 50% the battery draining on Idle mode gets more and more like during 5 hours drops 3 percents or even over night drops 3 to 4 percents.
2-when I play games on Xperia Z5 (e.g. Asphalt 8 Airborne) the device drops 2 percent every 1 minute, Is that normal ???
im running Android 6, Build number 32.1.A.1.185, I had the same problem when i was on 5.1.1
Is there really anything wrong here ?
Thanks.

[Q] Super Fast Crazy Battery Drain on Cyanogenemod 11 Nightly Solution Needed

I just installed CM 11 on my xperia V but then I'm experiencing this terrible super fast battery drain. It's been 3 days. The first night I installed it it drained my whole battery while I was asleep. Usually standby time is great before I installed CM 11. Maybe its because of the sony stamina extended standby mode thingy. Last night, I reckon that it's probably because of the background process and the wifi, so I reboot the phone (so that all apps are killed) and didn't turn on the wifi. It eats 7% of my battery. Dafuq???
So, I checked the battery stats and 82% of my battery is used on android system. Then, I turned off location access. Brightness is at its lowest. It was on aeroplane mode. Bluetooth is off. I underclock the device to clock only at 1 ghz and i clear all recent apps. Only the wifi is turned on. I only left it for half an hour without even touching it but my battery went down from 100% to 93%.!!! Can you imagine?? This sucks. Can anyone please help me with this issue? Imagine after an hour my battery would be at 80%. That means i can only use the phone for 5 hours!! That is without any connectivity at all with slow processor and low brightness. If I were to push it to the max it would take maybe 2 hours of usage. I uploaded the battery stats included with this thread.

Xperia Z3 Rooted- Battery Life Only Lasting 1 Day

Poor battery life on a rooted phone
Hi guys, I just bought a z3 from a friend, and I have some battery problem
On 5.1.1, my battery only last for a day, which is under my expectation for the z3. Note that I only use my phone when necessary, location, mobile data, nfc, bluetooth, wifi are always off when I don't need them. I lend my mother's z3v and its battery life was excellent, I compared the 2 phone by watching a youtube clip for 10 minutes, with only wifi on, the z3v only lost 1% battery while my z3 lost 3-4% each time. But according to cnet (sorry I can't post links yet), the z3's battery have a slight edge over the z3v. Why is this happening?
Anyway, I downgrade my z3 to kitkat, rooted it, install setcpu, greenify, wakelocks detector, I also use disable service. Like before, all the phone functions are off when I don't need them, all unnecessary apps are deleted. However, my phone battery is still nowhere near the non-rooted z3v. I have a feeling that the battery drain faster below 85%, when it reached 15%, it loses 1% every 30 seconds. Moreover, the z3v only loses 1% over night (sometimes not at all) in airplane mode, while my z3 loses about 3-4%.
What do you guys think? Is this a problem with the phone's battery? Can my friend damaged the battery in his six months of using?
Sorry if my English is hard to understand, I tried my best to describe the problem

Xperia terrible z5 battery life

Please help me! The battery life on my xperia z5 is terrible, today for example i unplugged it at Lunch and got barely to 8pm. Screen on time 2h 30 min. Stamina mode on and i'm also using battery doctor... What am I doing wrong, sony claimed that the phone will give you about 2 days of Medium use.. In a normal school day in which I turn my phone on aeroplane mode when I'm in class I'll have about 10% left when I go to sleep. I'm using nova launcher but I've never heard about nova draining battery. Do you have any helpfull tricks to improve battery my life?
Thank you for your replies I'll install gsm battery monitor and look if I can fix sth.
I know I'll never get 2 days as a medium to hard user but I'd like to never have to worry about my battery in a normal day...

Sony Xperia 5 battery life

Hello, I have been using Xperia 5 for couple months and the battery life is dreadful. On standby mode overnight it dropped from 64 to 47 percent. It cannot last even trough the day. I keep gps, nfc switched off, light at around 30 percent mark. I have updated from Android 9 to 10 latest update. But no improvement. Any ideas? How is your Xperia 5 battery holding?

For my part, battery life is very good. You may have a rogue app or something...
If you don't find the cause, consider a factory reset via Sony companion.

Question Xperia 5 III Standby battery drain

Hi, I'm experiencing a standby battery drain on my Xperia 5 III. I've just bought it, it's updated to A12, did a hard reset and software repair with Xperia companion. I lose around 1.5% per hour, around 12% per 8hours of sleep. Whether I have SIM popped in or not, GSam reports Mobile radio constantly working and it stops only if I turn airplane mode on.
I have Stamina mode on, 60Hz only, turned off mobile data always on in developer settings (although it shouldn't matter when SIM is out), smart connectivity is off, everything else I found that could be battery consuming I turned off.
Is there anything else I can do, besides flashing it again with Xperia companion? Or is this normal for this phone?
I suspect you're going to struggle to get a reply from someone that's performed this same test. My phone was charged to 90% 4.5h ago. I've used it for web browsing for about an hour since it was removed from the charger. I've never used Stamina mode. I have 120Hz display on. I use the Always On display with the clock and a graphic. Screen brightness is at 50%.
Battery is at 74%. I have done zero investigating about what has been draining the battery, as it strikes me as normal usage based on my experience with Xperia and Huawei phones.
I think you are right, the user base seems to be much smaller than I thought.
Luckily, my battery drain has improved, last night it drained only 0.90% per 7h of sleep, putting a SIM card in and turning Stamina off helped, it makes no sense but it fixed it. If I'm not wrong, as per GSam, my phone also went only into a deep sleep and never into light sleep, now it enters both.
I find that after a reset or an OS version update, the Xperia phones take a week or so to sort themselves out. I don't know if it's optimizing in the background or what. I have noticed this since my Z5, which I bought 5 years ago.
t an update today on my 5 III and after updating I have significantly better battery life and lower overall temps.

ive been using my xperia without a sim and the battery life is also terrible. i havent switched from my old phone yet.
is the battery life better on the android 12 update?
I can't comment on 11 vs 12 usages as I didn't use my phone on 11,only 12, but others already reported improved battery life on 12.
My battery life significantly improved after 2 weeks. I did recalibrate my battery, two times drained it to 0% and charged until 100%. I did apply all the battery-saving tips and tricks available and suspended whatever system apps I could. Depending on the usage, I could reach 7-9h hours SOT easily, probably even 10 with stamina turned on. Updates really helped this phone in every possible way. IDLE battery drain was the worse thing with it and now it varies from 0.20 to 0.70% per hour. Remember to close all the apps when you don't need them,.
In the developer options you can restrict the background processes. Had 4, now 3 selected.
My apps notify me reliably, I do not notice any difference, but the consumption in standby is only a third as high.
Everything else did not work for me.

Important, you have to set this Option after every reboot.
