Hello all
i recently brought a new battery from my mini pro, its a 3.6v 930mAh,
heres where i got it from
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270802890547
i read of most post that people are getting around 24 hours to sometimes 48 out battery life,
i have fully charged this battery while the phone was turned off to 100% and then cleared the battery stats
the battery lasted me 8hrs 49min untill it hit 2%
my settings are low no background data, display set to 50% brightness, advanced task killer to kill running apps etc...
i used it to minimal 10min wifi, 5 min call and 6 text and thats all,
my question is that am i getting ripped off? what are other users getting from there mini pro
or am i charging it wrong?
the seller claims its genuine sony erricson battery
i have a same problem with u...
but my battery is 960mAh
ever try xrecovery function> wipe battery cache?
yes i have but theres no difference,
might buy a higher mAH and see if it improves the battery life, it can also be the ROM itself,
i read few issues that some custom roms drain battery life, dont know if thats fully true
Hello, guys!
I have a problem with my phone for the past few months and after clean flashing 7.0 Nougat it's still present.
My problem is that when I'm home, my phone drains not even few percent of battery. Specially when I'm sleeping, I can go to bed with 100% battery and wake up with 98-99%. BUT when I'm out, specially when I'm working since my work involves a lot of walking the battery just drains like hell and I mean like 7-10% per hour considering I don't even use the phone. Sometimes I will have 30min to an hour of screen-on time and after 10 hours of work I will be home with 15% of battery left.
Now I know that this is mostly to some rouge app that keeps my phone awake and drains my battery but I'm not really sure how to pinpoint it.
I will provide my stats from Bettertbatteystats and WakelockDetector if you guys can help me.
Thanks in advance!
Edit: I just want to explain that the straight line on the first picture with the batter drain graph is when I went home and left my phone on the table for about 3 hours. You can clearly see that the difference in battery consumption during my phone being in my pocket and on the table.
Hi everybody, on Thursday I received my new Honor 8 and after using it and after I made every update I notice that my battery drains very fast... Last night I left it on the table and it lost 50% of battery. And now if I use it or not it loses battery percentage the same way. Please help me, it is an amazing phone but as far as I can say from now it has terrible battery life.

That is definitely not right.
Try resetting your phone
Run the battery down then turn it off and charge till 100%
Then use the phone as you normally would for about a week and the phone should learn your usage habbits and adjust.
You can also go into battery settings and make sure that your phone is set to turn off apps when the screen is off.
There is also a battery saver mode that you can put on. Unfortunately you have to turn this in manually every time it changes to 100%
Give these a go and see how you get on.
It will be some setting some where which should be sorted by doing a factory reset.
Let us know how you get on
John
Hope you wise folk can help.
Around last week my phone's battery struggles to last 12 hours on a single charge, up until that point it would happily do 24hrs +
Not downloaded anything new, and not using it any more than before.
I'm baffled.
It's running stock on the ee network.
Any advice would be great.
Currently got Gsam monitoring my battery to see if that sheds any light
What does the battery usage say?
Hello, look for any Apps that was updatet in this timeline.
I think it´s possible that one or more of these will drain the Battery, because they will influence they Deepsleep of the Phone.
Nice Greets from Germany
Well things have taken a turn for the worse.
Battery on 70,% at 11pm turned on airplane mode.
By 06:30 it had dropped to 30%
All battery info shows it was in airplane mode, so how did it eat 50% of the battery?
PS how do you post thumbnails/ pics?
Hi, I'm experiencing a standby battery drain on my Xperia 5 III. I've just bought it, it's updated to A12, did a hard reset and software repair with Xperia companion. I lose around 1.5% per hour, around 12% per 8hours of sleep. Whether I have SIM popped in or not, GSam reports Mobile radio constantly working and it stops only if I turn airplane mode on.
I have Stamina mode on, 60Hz only, turned off mobile data always on in developer settings (although it shouldn't matter when SIM is out), smart connectivity is off, everything else I found that could be battery consuming I turned off.
Is there anything else I can do, besides flashing it again with Xperia companion? Or is this normal for this phone?
I suspect you're going to struggle to get a reply from someone that's performed this same test. My phone was charged to 90% 4.5h ago. I've used it for web browsing for about an hour since it was removed from the charger. I've never used Stamina mode. I have 120Hz display on. I use the Always On display with the clock and a graphic. Screen brightness is at 50%.
Battery is at 74%. I have done zero investigating about what has been draining the battery, as it strikes me as normal usage based on my experience with Xperia and Huawei phones.
I think you are right, the user base seems to be much smaller than I thought.
Luckily, my battery drain has improved, last night it drained only 0.90% per 7h of sleep, putting a SIM card in and turning Stamina off helped, it makes no sense but it fixed it. If I'm not wrong, as per GSam, my phone also went only into a deep sleep and never into light sleep, now it enters both.
I find that after a reset or an OS version update, the Xperia phones take a week or so to sort themselves out. I don't know if it's optimizing in the background or what. I have noticed this since my Z5, which I bought 5 years ago.
t an update today on my 5 III and after updating I have significantly better battery life and lower overall temps.

ive been using my xperia without a sim and the battery life is also terrible. i havent switched from my old phone yet.
is the battery life better on the android 12 update?
I can't comment on 11 vs 12 usages as I didn't use my phone on 11,only 12, but others already reported improved battery life on 12.
My battery life significantly improved after 2 weeks. I did recalibrate my battery, two times drained it to 0% and charged until 100%. I did apply all the battery-saving tips and tricks available and suspended whatever system apps I could. Depending on the usage, I could reach 7-9h hours SOT easily, probably even 10 with stamina turned on. Updates really helped this phone in every possible way. IDLE battery drain was the worse thing with it and now it varies from 0.20 to 0.70% per hour. Remember to close all the apps when you don't need them,.
In the developer options you can restrict the background processes. Had 4, now 3 selected.
My apps notify me reliably, I do not notice any difference, but the consumption in standby is only a third as high.
Everything else did not work for me.

Important, you have to set this Option after every reboot.
