I need help with my sony xperia z3 not rooted. 2 days ago it start showing storage space running out.
I had about 500MB when it said that. I cleared some stuff. but suddenly it went to 50mb out of no where.
I moved all my apps to the sd card. So it cleared 1gb. it was fine for less than a day. And then here we go again storage space running out.
its on 200mb now. I dont know what is eating my space. And I dont know how to figure it out. everything is on my card nothing on my phone except the actual phone stuff that cant be moved to card.
Note: I refreshed and factory reset the phone like a month or 2 ago. Before that I had the phone for over a year and everything was great no new apps used and nothing new was installed.

Hello I am a new android user, just grabbed my HTC EVO 3D from the store and it is awesome. Still, I've got a simple question. My friend told me that there should be trash, some errors, or just useless apps after previous hands-on testings in the store and I shall reset it erasing everything and resetting the OS. I have checked the SD and internal storage, and yes, it got low free space. Internal storage got 50% left (it's 2GB) and SD got only 3/8GB left and I haven't even downloaded anything by now.. But I don't know how to do it. All I'd want would be to wipe entire phone+SD and reset to plain fresh HTC android OS. Hope you can assist me.

I hve checked many roms starting from GB, through ICS finishing on PACman. I ve tried formatting and even repartitioning my internal storage but it is still filling up itself. When I install new system it is fine for a week, after that time it says low storage space, when I check it it looks like Internal memory is 0.98GB, then apps 342MB and some data 1,21MB, but still ive got only 93,42MB free space (this is for PAC man, it survived longest time without low space warning, 2weeks), can someone help please?

Never seen or had this problem. All I can think of is something is not right regarding driver install when you are flashing. Otherwise, dunno. Perhaps some kind of memory leak, but as for what or why, no idea.
There is everything OK with the drivers, especially that this happens even when I upgrade my LG to official ICS through official LG Updater. What I noticed as well that sometimes my \data is 0,93 GB and sometime 1,35GB, but still filling up.

Well ill try to explain my problem also keep in mind im not really good with android, but i fix pcs so i get some stuff.
Okay ill start, one day my phone was working as ussualy and i went to the gallery as always and i had the external storage not available message,
so then i went to storage and it reflected that my internal storage was 0.0g.
So the thing is, apparently my data is still there, my apps are there, my wallpaper didnt switched, just like my ringtones, also if i go to
clean master and in settings-apps my apps and the storage i had before the incident was exact, as in i had 18g of used memory and it still reflects me that,
but certain apps like file explorer dont show anything , i literally dont have anything in my storage, idk what to think of this.
Also ill post some extra information because if anyone have any info i guess you will need more info from my side.
If i connect the phone to usb storage , it reflects me my internal storage is at 0.0g and nothing is inside.
Ive never rooted and never even tried.
I didnt install anything lately that may cause a hardware change.
The phone didnt fall, didnt got wet.
i think the sd card was in the internal storage, as an emulation, i thik idk much about that. (but i never used one, just the internal storage)
If i try to mount an sd it just doesnt happens the only thing i can do sd wise is erase all data in the sd
So basically now idk what to do, i wish i could keep my stuff, idk its still there, i guess the term for this is my storage unmounted, so using adb to mount it back would work?
idk i also did the putting it in tmp and disconecting it and nothing im literally going insane and have slept like 2 hours per day, so thanks for taking your time to atleast review my problem

I think I've got 2 roms installed on my phone, but one is inaccessible. I had installed a kdz and then I went to a custom ROM.
Thing is I'm thinking thus because I currently have 11gb free on my 32gb phone. The max I have available is 22gb which is about right but here's the thing, I only have 4gb of data actually used. I can't seem to see anything else and I'm a little lost on where the extra 8 has gone because there is nothing stored on my phone that I can account for that much space,
Does anyone have any ideas

I bought to my wife Honor 6 last year, she loved it after many many crappy Samsung phones.
Everything went good, but now when there come newest android 6.0 update some time ago to phone it take a big part of internal memory!
I checked phone and there is really only social media things and some shopping apps. So not big games etc
Phone is non rooted so there is many Huawei own apps, and non used google apps of course taking storage for nothing...
So now there is all the time like 400mb free space, and apps don´t even can take updates because all the time text "Storage is getting full" shows up
There is not sd card, i was thinking to bought 32gb card but do it really helps because can i move stuff to it from internal memory, like apps?
Or is this just the time when universum is telling me "You need to buy new phone to your wife every year!"
Please help me, wife is mad as hell

Yes you can move apps to SD it will help...or you can downgrade to last update which was working good for you.
