Snap Camera Mod
Snap is the new camera apps included in nightly of cyanogenmod, replacing the camera AOSP used so far.
This camera, based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon room, although doesn't offer all the advanced features of the latter offers a shot much faster compared to the camera AOSP, and even Google camera.
If you want to try it, here you will find an APK installable on many smartphone with Lollipop or marshmallows.
Since the camera uses libraries which are not present on all smartphones (NOW LIBS ARE INTO APK), however, does not mean that it functions: should go smoothly on all ROMS based on cyan, but also on AOSP and other.
If you try it, reported below which device you have been successful (or not).

Does not work in 6p (pure nexus)
Only installing the APK will not work on some devices.
Snap needs special compiled libs to work.

Huawai y6 stock with nova , work perfect
What's the difference between this camera and the one that comes in the nightlies?
Will the enhancements work on all SnapDragon processor variants or only for the 800 and above? What about the lib files, are they needed for devices originally without the snapdragon camera??

Yet again all credits goes to @TheRoyalSeeker as its his zip as base
Keyboard works fine on arm and arm64 devices the zip contains both needed folders for arm and arm64 devices to make it running after flash. There's no need to extract the swiftkey lib file to make it running on arm64 devices as I stated before. So just flash and enjoy the keyboard

Tested on many different roms
Such as note 3 cm and stock 6.x
Tested on s5 neo stock 5.1
Huawei stock 5.0 and 6.0
Everything work
Credits @TheRoyalSeeker it's his zip originally which I just bumped up files with.
For 64 bit devices you'll have to extract the files in lib/arm64-v8a/swiftkeysdk-java.so
Go to system/app/textinput-tng/lib and create a new folder with name lib64
Copy your extracted swiftkeysdk-java.so to the lib64 folder and set permissions and you're done.

Doesn't seem to work on COS ROMs
Am on temasek's unofficial CM13.1 ROM v9.7 (actually based off COS for the last couple of releases, the developer is yet to change the name to reflect the same).
When I open the app, it's a blank window the Audio FX title bar. Long pressing on effects in Poweramp says "Audio FX has stopped".
Anyway to fix this? Or is it an inherent limitation that it won't work on COS ROMs?
Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Does not work with RR on OnePlus X. FC and Blank screen.
Would this work on an Android TV-box running 6.0.1 with these specs: http://www.cnx-software.com/2016/08...review-part-1-unboxing-teardown-and-hands-on/
Does this support DSP? I need to lower the bass (aka. night mode).
Or is it possible to flash DSP Manager? Which I can't find for 6.0?
Anyone tried this with Nougat ROMs?
Latest #blu_spark'd #PureNexus 7.1.1 doesnt seem to show any effect, sadly. Dev maybe some update would be in order?

""Midas" is the codename for the family of boards consisting of the Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300, GT-I9305, SHV-E210K/L/S) and the Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100, GT-N7105)." from https://blog.forkwhiletrue.me/pages/midas-mainline/
when did this project will finish am waiting...... for my devices gt-i9305
Someone can always try to transform the S3 into treble compatible so that everyone can then try to use the GSI Treble roms at least to breath some live back into the S3
Here's an update on the development: https://blog.forkwhiletrue.me/posts/an-almost-fully-libre-galaxy-s3/ It's not for Oreo development specifically but it's about u-boot and the kernel.

It's not ready for anything but booting linux. If you really want to try it out, instructions are at the bottom of the page.
Try it yourself
If you're after something to tinker with, have a spare GT-I9300/GT-I9305/GT-N7100/GT-N7105 lying around, and don't really care about using anything based on the old kernel (be that LineageOS, Replicant, or the stock firmware), you can even try this for yourself. While it should be possible to go back to the proprietary bootloader, I have not tested doing so: doing this would be left largely as an exercise to the reader. It's also worth mentioning that LineageOS/Replicant will boot under u-boot with a kernel compiled without CONFIG_ARM_TRUSTZONE set, but the display will not work (probably because u-boot does not initialise the display).

Hi all,
I guess we can expect Oreo ROM for our s3 by using a method called MicroG which galaxy s2 also uses the same structure for supporting lineage 15. Or we can port los 15 from galaxy s2 because both the offer a similar kernel version.
Cheers if anyone tries to build los 15 for our device using the given info..
( Note: the given info might be correct according to a dev that I've confirmed.)
Mod adds an entry to build.prop enabling Camera2Api.
Code:
"persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1"
The package contains converted libraries.
Code:
libmmcamera_imx258.so
libmmcamera_imx258_sunny.so
Works only on Miui10 Android 7.0, tested on Miui10 8.8.3 by xiaomi.eu.
MOD has no effect on the original Miui Camera.

coral - My unofficial with Google Apps/Pixel goodies included. Passes SafetyNet by default. OTA's roll roughly once a month. Support not guaranteed or implied.

None.

lineage-20.0-20221031-dtb-coral.img this need to flash and how?
also and dtbo need to flash?
thanks
Probably not the right place to ask but does lineageos plan on supporting wireguard in kernel? I use it for remote access and having kernel support is way more efficient.

on actively supported pixels probably not?
What mainline version was fireguard merged in? Because we enable it on those.

Looks like 4.19 and newer has wireguard on stock. I'm on 4.14 on lineageos 19.1 right now and do not have support.
Edit: I'm dumb the kernel version is listed above.

It's still 4.14. can't be changed.
Thank you for the rom. Can you name the pixel goodies included on your unofficial build?

It does, but I have a small glitch in the lock screen if I have the face unlock option turned on
Can you add " adaptive changing" feature to this ROM?
Thanks,
Dtb file what is it? I need to flash it and how?

I think that the Pixel launcher has a problem. I'm using the Nova launcher, and it's working.
