What Rom are you running in MM
There is no rom for tmobile official update...perhaps wait till there is and remake this thread?
Yeah nothing but stock Deodexed so far. I'm sure jovy and TekHD are cooking up magic- along with a few other folks I'm even working on something special myself

It'll be a while, it's my first foray into rom cooking, but I'm having a blast! I love it! Just setting up my environment is fun! I'm using android studio 2.0 and apktools on a windows 10 machine, but I'm debating if i wanna run a dual boot config so i can have the option up run Ubuntu on it as well, just for the ease of packaging up tars and the simple command line directness of Linux, i like a lot of things about Linux just soooo much better than a windows machine as a dev platform, but android studio 2.0 for Windows DOES look sweeeeeeet, i can't wait to get deeper into my project!
Pretty much take a gander over in the Android Development forum for T-Mobile or the International model and there is your answer.
Tek's new one Tekxnesis.

I for one am a windows man. I tried Linux, but I couldn't get it to work for me. I've tried Ubuntu and kubuntu, but I missed all the programs that windows had to offer. I like burning my movies on dvd's, but couldn't find a good program on Linux. So I went back to windows lol. I would like to give it another go. It's been a while so I'm pretty sure programs have gotten better since them. BTW I can feel something good is about to happen. I can tell by your excitement. Can't wait to see what you cook up. Good luck bro. I'll be rooting for ya.
I have INFINITY for all versions including T-Mobile. It looks great on the page when after installing, Viper which is included DOES NOT work at all....and the people in the forum will NOT answer anyone!!!! I have spent 14 hours trying to get Xposed and Viper to work...Those are my deal breakers with Roms...I like those and Potato Clock....that clock Viper and some Xposed and its Game ON!!!!! But, it's just not there yet I guess...I'm going back to Darthstalker for now....on my backup....My Bootloader is now MM so I can't flash anything else in LP, but wouldn't want to anyways at this point. MM has some cool features though and I tried hard to get this to work.....

I don't understand what you've said here. Why would he post a thread asking about a MM ROM if there already is one? Like, if there is a ROM thread posted why would he post asking if there was one?

Perhaps you should look at the date and time of my post and his post, and correlate it with the initial release of the OFFICIAL MM OTA. Than go back, and look at the MM roms in the development forums and the date and times posted in each thread. Also, go back and look at the post right beneath mine.
Hopefully that helps.
Though given both his post and my post were made on the 19th of last month and it is May 6, I am not sure why you are even quoting that post right there. Especially with the knowledge that atleast two tmobile MM ROMS have been developed since that date.

You can't compare apples to oranges......this is clearly on 2.3.7 as stated in the OP and in the title of the thread and the one that Team D.I.R.T put out with the help of swiperrat was based on CM9 (ICS 4.0.4)
Also A2SD isn't the devil as some people have put it......I don't see a disadvantage to using A2SD, I really don't

I'm not arguing whether A2SD is good or not. I personally don't prefer it just because it's too much trouble to get my SDcard setup for A2SD. Since I currently don't have any problems with using non-A2SD ROMs, I don't see the need to change that. At the end of the day, it's all about personal preferences, otherwise everyone would do things the same way. So I believe you that you truly believe A2SD is the best option, but unfortunately not everyone will ever agree with you.

If anything I was helping YOU by pointing out why your version is different and therefore necessary.

MIUI is one of the most popular ROMs ever built for android and you can read about it here --> http://en.miui.com/a-39.html
8/25/12: {UPDATE}
I am currently working on porting MIUI over to the SGS3, I am working with another developer right now and we are making A LOT of progress on the port. Currently there is no ETA for a release but hopefully we will be done soon. Anyways, we are still looking for testers so please post in the thread or send me a PM if you are interested in testing the ROM.

Hello Everyone,
I am a big fan of MIUI and I was just reading that they recently released a JellyBean version of MIUI (here). I thought this would be great for our phone and now that our bootloader is pretty much unlocked I don't think it would be too hard to port this over. I was wondering if any of our great developers could look into this.
I am happy to use my phone as a testing device if anyone starts working on this.

You are welcome to start a port yourself check out miui.us or the cooking forums here on xda for instructions on how to start porting roms.
Otherwise, I would say that beans is the most likely to do this. He had a very nice MIUI port for the DX (I know because I tried it!)
Yes, I am looking into porting this rom over to the SGS3, I have been reading up on some guides for porting MIUI and I would love to read one about building roms for the SGS3 in specific. A couple years back I got into building roms for the DROID ERIS but I haven't done a lot of work with them since. I really have just been doing a lot of theming.
Either way, I will get started on a port and please point me to any useful information if you know of any!
Thanks,
Ljbaumer

I just made an alpha 0.0.1 build of miui for the SGS3 (VZW), I am pretty sure it is loaded with bugs and may not even boot but there is a tiny bit of progress being made.
I am thinking that the main problem will be the updater-script. Please PM me if you can help with the updater-script or just know a lot about ROM building, AOKP (I am basing it off AOKP Milestone 6.1), MIUI, or you think you can help.
All I can say is good luck to you in your efforts. The last fully functioning MIUI ROM that I used was on the DInc. A few developers struggled very hard to get MIUI working on the HTC thunderbolt, and we never got a fully functioning ROM. They could never seem to get MMS to work properly. It seems that as our devices have become more and more sophisticated, it is harder and harder to get MIUI to fly. I hope earnestly that you can be successful on this. It is the smoothest, most user friendly, easy on the eye, ROM out there with themes galore. I can't wait!
New Build! Alpha 0.1.0! Testers Needed!
Currently uploading a new build...
Just an FYI, created another build that has a much better chance of booting than the previous one. I am looking for some testers, please contact me if you are available to test some builds for me.
Quick warning: there is a very good chance that the ROM will not boot correctly. In that case you may have a brick or you will have to restore your old ROM via recovery or just completely flash and re-root again via ODIN. I take absolutely no responsibility for what happens to your phone before or after you flash this ROM or anything else that I have made. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

4) Install ROM from SDCARD
5) Reboot and pray that it worked

No problem,
I realize I didn't really state what MIUI is in the OP. I will update it after this.
Anyways, MIUI is an extremely customized and smooth version of android that gives android a completely different look and feel. I really like it so I am working on porting it over to the SGS3. You can read all about MIUI and see some screenshots at their website right here: http://en.miui.com/
Or you can also do this: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=MIUI
MIUI is just like normal android, meaning you can use the play store and do all of the same things that you can do typically except you can also do tons of other cool extra stuff such as full theming support! Also the whole UI is re-done and it looks like a much improved version of HTC Sense mixed with TouchWiz (IMO).
Hopefully that helps a bit!
Thanks,
Ljbaumer

I moved the thread to the Questions and Answer forum. You asked a question, hence it belongs here.
Smart ass? pure fail?
I'd say those fall back on you based on your failed attempt at ridiculing me.

First of all this is supposed to be here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1572
Second, watch this video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FML0Y2ovZ_Q
Third, there isn't a stock jellybean rom for the AT&T Evita HTC One X. If you want a stock feel I suggest Cyanogenmod 10 which can be found here.
Fourth, searching would do you a LOT of good. I'm a newb to all of this too but read before you ask...
EDIT: Also the smug replies aren't really necessary. I get that you guys see tons of people like this but don't act like it's intolerable. Help the guy out by throwing a few links his way, it took me 2 minutes. You don't have 2 minutes to spare? I'm not sure why you're on here then lol

Thank you! Give me a heads up on how things are running. I had to make some changes to get it to build. Its almost the stock 4.3 kernel. and I had updater-script issues but I got that figured out. Gonna be a little bit of a pain for every device. they changed the way fstab works so all the device trees are gonna have to be edited.

How weird - you mention fstab just as i'd finished entering my sudo gedit /etc/fstab to add a couple more automounts on desktop.
I'll give a flash and let you know.

I've just flashed... Radio is not working... Not even showing....
Waiting for the next build.... lol...

Hey folks,
I tried to modify Tab 3 10.1 Wifi Frameworks to natively enable Advanced Reboot Menu
WARNING:
- This hasn't been tested => I don't own a Tab 3 10.1
- This is a very earlier build => It may simply break your tablet or may not work
- This is a ported feature from an ARM CPU to ax86 CPU => It may just freeze your tablet every reboot :silly:
Do you accept all these conditions ?
If yes
Download the file from Mega.co.nz (290Kb)
Reboot to Recovery
Flash It
Reboot,
Long press power button and see if it works.
else,
Do nothing
Tested in my tab, but when I tried to flash the zip with TWRP an error flashing occurred! So for now it's a fail. Sorry.

@ Nonta72
I know I may sound s7up1d but what is "modify Tab 3 10.1 Wifi Frameworks" to natively enable "Advanced Reboot Menu"
What is the relation of "Wifi Frameworks" with "Advanced Reboot Menu"?
I bet you that is why you do not get reply. Another approach is like a Video or Picture of what you are trying to achieve. I have the same situation on my thread. But In my case I do not have anything to show yet. I am just testing various methods and had no real results. Good luck.
Carefully read OP before asking -_-

I am sorry you feel that way. And yes I TOTALY understand, "No one who care". Just because they all are selling this TAB3 10.1 x86. No it is Not because of it. It is a nice and acceptable device. It is just because everyone sooner or latter got tire of not able to do Mods. Source is incomplete and to many proprietary drivers. SAMSUNG, INTEL & GOOGLE please read this fact and learn for the future.
I hope to see you around.

jdeocares hi I guess it is first time we chat. I do not think I was rude with him. First my English as a second language made me read wrong message. I ask my apologies to him. Then he express there is nobody left to test. I totally agree with him.
Regards this project, I do not see what he is trying to accomplish, What is this "Advanced Reboot Menu for Tab 3 10.1". I ask him for and explanation and suggested he post a more graphic method of what he is trying to accomplish.
So the only I could do was to opened the package to get a glips of his work. And found all is store in a "android.policy.jar" that I can not look at. I see his work is base in 4.4.2 KK and I have 4.2.2. So without more explanation or a reason as why I want to pass all the work to backup and install KK, I left.
Nonta72
Like I said I do not see a gain for me. Now without installing I look again inside your zip file. I can only imagine that you are using the wrong "update-binary", my best guess is that that one is for ARM!. Just a guest. I say this because it size is 168kb. The size of that binary usually is around 521kb!!
So try this one.
Here you have a friend. Keep the good work.
Note: Can I see the source of that "android.policy.jar".

You're right, I used an ARM update-binary sorry
You're also right, It's for Android 4.4.2.
About the source of the .jar files; well, I downloaded Tab 3 10.1 KK Firmware from SamMobile.com then deodexed it. Now I'm trying to mod its frameworks without even having the tab on hand!
> Note: I can try to mod JB 4.2.2 frameworks if you're interested in testing.
