He choose to get his post closed due to issues with certain things and out of RESPECT!!!!!! to Cy this post should not have been open and it needs to be closed. Its not that hard to go to his forum and find CM5 Test 5.

It's stupid because people keep complaining. Let the mods do their job, all you wannabe mods are doing is causing these threads to get locked in the first place. I don't really want to post this because this is clearly adding to the spam and I feel no better than the rest of this, but I wish people would get the point that posting 'WTF U DOING' 'CLOSE THIS!11!1!!!' is simply adding to the problem. If you disagree with the thread, DON'T POST. The mods can close it, Cyan can come along and say he wants it closed also. I don't see how this affects ANYONE other than Cyan and the moderators of this forum in terms of violation of rules and/or honour.
On a more relevant topic, thank you for posting this, I for one am glad you brought it to our attention as I like to find out all relevant up to date information on this forum. It's a shame a few selfish people have to ruin it for the rest of us.

Fox, if you want to maintain this thread for cyanogen and help out the noobs that need help for him, then I completely agree with this thread. It's so annoying that I have to check CM forums for news and updates on this awesome rom, so having a link on XDA is more convenient. Cyanogen closed the thread so that he wouldn't have to deal with assholes cursing him out in twitter, and he will reopen it once its at a stable stage. But just begging him to come back won't work lol=p He is a legend and won't give up on us just yet.

Can you please give some more information? I am working on a fix for us to fxz back, and I am getting close. Any information you can give would be very helpful for me to look into for my possible fix as well.
what files did you use, from which version of the fxz, and such would be awesome information if you have it.

I'm not trying to belittle your work, but if you truly think that you have something that will work, pm one of our devs! Who knows maybe it is a valid fix.
But posting it on the forum for the general public is a bad idea because some people don't read and flash anything they find!

I do hope this works and please don't think anyone is trying to argue your work. Some of us are a little gun shy on this subject since some of us can flash back and others brick with the same method. I personally request that you send what you have accomplished to Jim or one of the others just to verify that it's not the same as the methods that have been causing bricks. Thank you for trying to help every one that is stuck.

No it can't. At&t leak is only for the AT&T MB865

Even though this question is more related to 4.4 than the N5, it's still relevant so here goes...
Since the announcement of 4.4 and the N5, I've been reading most of the articles posted. Over the last couple of days I've read that the native screen recording capabilities are somewhat limited as of right now, as the device still needs to be hooked up to a computer and can only record 3 minutes of content.
What's the likelihood of this either being improved via a future update OR a developer improving it to include more realistic usage and what kind of things would need to be done to include such changes?

Since its just an adb command, I would think that you could run it using a terminal emulator on the phone. I haven't actually tried it, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Very smooth and extremely responsive. Takes a very light touch.

First off. Thanks for this ROM. Its awesome. My favourite KK ROM yet.
My only problem is with MMS. Specifically, receiving MMS.
At first I thought it was my phone, but I installed 2 other ROMs and they both can receive MMS straight out of the box.
I have manually added my APN as instructed by my carrier, but still nothing.
I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

It's a known bug and is being addressed

Oh, cool. I didn't see anything in the ROMs thread so thought it must be my side.
I'll watch the ROMs thread for updates, coz I wanna get back to this ROM asap but need MMS capability.
*edit* - I tried using Textra and ChompSMS. So the notes I just re-read don't apply.

What Are good roms for MM? Tmobile Official Update

What Rom are you running in MM

There is no rom for tmobile official update...perhaps wait till there is and remake this thread?

Yeah nothing but stock Deodexed so far. I'm sure jovy and TekHD are cooking up magic- along with a few other folks I'm even working on something special myself

It'll be a while, it's my first foray into rom cooking, but I'm having a blast! I love it! Just setting up my environment is fun! I'm using android studio 2.0 and apktools on a windows 10 machine, but I'm debating if i wanna run a dual boot config so i can have the option up run Ubuntu on it as well, just for the ease of packaging up tars and the simple command line directness of Linux, i like a lot of things about Linux just soooo much better than a windows machine as a dev platform, but android studio 2.0 for Windows DOES look sweeeeeeet, i can't wait to get deeper into my project!

Pretty much take a gander over in the Android Development forum for T-Mobile or the International model and there is your answer.

I for one am a windows man. I tried Linux, but I couldn't get it to work for me. I've tried Ubuntu and kubuntu, but I missed all the programs that windows had to offer. I like burning my movies on dvd's, but couldn't find a good program on Linux. So I went back to windows lol. I would like to give it another go. It's been a while so I'm pretty sure programs have gotten better since them. BTW I can feel something good is about to happen. I can tell by your excitement. Can't wait to see what you cook up. I have INFINITY for all versions including T-Mobile. It looks great on the page when after installing, Viper which is included DOES NOT work at all....and the people in the forum will NOT answer anyone!!!! I have spent 14 hours trying to get Xposed and Viper to work...Those are my deal breakers with Roms...I like those and Potato Clock....that clock Viper and some Xposed and its Game ON!!!!! But, it's just not there yet I guess...I'm going back to Darthstalker for now....on my backup....My Bootloader is now MM so I can't flash anything else in LP, but wouldn't want to anyways at this point. MM has some cool features though and I tried hard to get this to work.....

I don't understand what you've said here. Why would he post a thread asking about a MM ROM if there already is one? Like, if there is a ROM thread posted why would he post asking if there was one?

Perhaps you should look at the date and time of my post and his post, and correlate it with the initial release of the OFFICIAL MM OTA. Than go back, and look at the MM roms in the development forums and the date and times posted in each thread. Also, go back and look at the post right beneath mine.
Hopefully that helps.
Though given both his post and my post were made on the 19th of last month and it is May 6, I am not sure why you are even quoting that post right there. Especially with the knowledge that atleast two tmobile MM ROMS have been developed since that date.

It's all good, looking back my post did came of snarls. My apology. But my initial post was because the post was literally made the day after MM dropped for tmobile lol...I mean, I just didn't see the need for the post ya know? Lol devs got lives
