odin fail after fail

ok so my s6 had some ram issues.....the version was 5.0.2 and couldnt update ....i found on sam mobile a 5.1.1 version from my country and i could barely update it using odin ( got full of errors ..had my soft bricked and so on) i finally managed to get to 5.1.1 and i can say it works better but i have no service....( http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G920F/COA/ ) my phone was bought sim free and i dont rly understand how the versions work and i got the one from my carrier.......
the first odin error i got was when i tried the 5.1.1 . fail at hidden.img or something like this
now i tried to add the old version 5.0.2 but i get <ID:0/007> NAND Write Start!!
i also tried smart switch but the version is not supported for initializing ...what should i do ?

I'm sorry I can't really help you as I am still on 5.0.2 myself, but once you upgrade to 5.1.1, you cannot downgrade back to 5.0.2, which might the cause of some of your issues.

Don't inbox me for queries. Just quote me for or mention me. That'd be enough.
Which Odin version are you using?
I suggest using older version I.e 3.0.7 or 3.0.9
Quote me back
Odin the tar file for TWRP 2.8.7.1 to get a recovery on the phone first, then try once again to Odin the 5.0.2 stock firmware -- this is what worked for me in a similar situation where I could not Odin the stock firmware as the recovery somwehow was damaged and that was stopping Odon from completing a flash.

Soft bricked SPH-G925P

Sprint s6 edge it was boot looping only staying in Android for maybe 3-5 mins at a time. So i tried to flash it. I may have flashed 5.0.x to it. Now when I try to flash I can flash cm.bin, sboot and it always dies on boot.img. I really need some guidance on what i should try next.
Looking around shows boot.img not flashing is possibly the kernel but I am having trouble finding one that it will let me flash.

Were you originally on 5.1.1?
If so, are you having a hard time Odin-ing the stock rom?

yes, it is a phone of a friend though I was trying to repair it. I downloaded the 5.1.1 from that slow sammoble site.

Since you were on 5.1.1 I don't think you would have any trouble Odining the stock ROM onto the phone. I've done it a few times and it worked OK. After you push the stock ROM you can root it if you want to.

Well the problem is it won't flash past boot.img
As soon as boot.img is started it goes a green bar on Oden about 3/4 of the way and then goes FAILED! and oden disconnects the device.

Yea.... You have to stay within the same android version, ex. Any of the 5.1.1 updates. The firmware version that you're trying to restore with, is it OF7?

It should say it on the tar file. It's worth a try but you're probably dead. Here is the file if you need it but like I said, most likely you're done.

It worked for me. I have a friend who did the same thing and thought the phone was a gonner. I told her I'd give it a try and I was able to Odin (v.3.10.6) to OF7, took the OTA to OH1 and flashed Wicked One SS v.3.0 from @dazednconfused and she says it's running perfect.
Also, @Soooperstar Odin file here.

the latest one. I've seen various other flashing posts saying you should use a slightly older Oden.
Also side rant. I did a chat with samsung support and they said the Smart Switch recovery doesn't work with the S6? I cannot get it to verify the serial number of my phone (s6) and the broken one (s6 e)

Docomo Samsung Galaxy S6 Unbrick SC-05G (SC05G)

In the last two days.....my phone suddenly started rebooting........then eventually freezing up.
Never been dropped.
Never been wet.
Never been rooted.
I tried factory reset.
Safe mode.
Reloading the firmware.
No change. The phone is a complete mess....all of a sudden.
I was thinking what if I re-partition, erase the nand? But I need a PIT file for my phone.
The recovery screen says that this is a SM-G9200. So I downloaded a PIT for that phone, bt it was the chinese variant and did not work.
Does anyone have the PIT file for this phone?
I am also welcome to any suggestions. I bought this phone brand new on Yahoo auctions japan, so I am not sure if Docomo will honor the warranty.
And did I mention I am in the middle of traveling on a business trip with a now bricked phone.
I encountered the same problem, in order to solve it, I tried a lot, even the PIT file but failed eventually. How can I send you the PIT file?

Hi guys, so i got the Pie update notification but at the end of the downloading, so before installing, it says that the file is invalid and i can't do pretty much anything else.. I also tried to install the update manually with odin but it got stucks at the middle of flashing doing nothing.
Also performed a factory reset and i've got the same problems..
I tried to update it like 50 times (?) in a month
I think i have to return it.. Nice Samsung as always ._.

Do NOT tick any extra boxes. The only options to be ticked are F.Reset Time and Auto-Reboot.
Try to use the latest version of Odin (3.13.3) and do NOT put any pit file or re-partition

Do not update to android pie. Many feature in your device will not run well. And you can't downgrade your android because the android pie lock the bootloader so you can't downgrade your version.. Trust me...

Need help to diagnose dead G920F that only boots to download mode

Hey i got a Samsung Galaxy S6 that only boots to download mode. I feel like I have tried all the methods already listed in the many other threads but nothing is working in my case. I saw a comment that mentioned that the motherboard is dead but could that be it? If I unplug it while it's "downloading" it's shows that i have to connect it to Smart Switch blah blah, so the phone knows that something went wrong it the download progress and I just don't think it would be able to if the motherboard was dead...
So what is my problem and is it fixable? Any help would be appreciated
edit: The current binary also changes from official to custom if I flash twrp so the phone knows that i've downloaded it. So I dont think that a dead eMMC is the case either. I can't get the phone to shut off if I leave it then it will get stuck in bootloop. Only way to shut it off is to drain the battery... :/

Yes but am still facing the excat same issue as I did before, where odin passes but I won't boot. The only change is that message.
I am facing similar issue. I just wanted to reboot device and it stuck on samsung logo. Flashed odin passed everything fine for 3 weeks. Another reboot and stucked but now stucked even after odin flash. I flashed twrp and lineage 16 then back to 14.1. Some programs say that everything is OK with device. Memmory and all. I just dont know what happened and why. I would really like to go back to stock but now I am just not sure it will happen AGAIN.
