Good lock - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After finally being released for Samsung's Galaxy s6, good lock is great, but the main color theme is not. Does anyone know how to change this color into grey? And also if you know how to remove the brightness scale from the drop down menu that would be great too.
Thank you

Lol I found out how change colors, but how do I remove the brightness slider?
Sent from my SM-G920T using XDA-Developers mobile app

you have to create e new routine or modify the default one

No way so far to remove the brightness slider. There also no way to remove items from the quick toggles. You just can rearrange them. Changing color of the background of the drop down would be nice to. Like an integration into the TW theme. But I think since good lock is still in development these features could take a while.

Does anyone know how to prevent the default routine from disabling bluetooth?

Can anybody provide a link to download this app?

[HIDDEN MENU] 5 lockscreen Shortcuts

Hi all,
i know that it gives a thread about the Hidden Torch menu, so i thought i test a little bit for some others.
I tested a lot with the shortcut Maker and found a link to a Setting Menu where u can set 5 App Shortcuts direct to the lockscreen like in other FWs befor.
the string is under Settings:
com.android.settings/com.android.settings.lockscreenshortcut.LockScreen SchortcutSettings
In this Menu u can manage 5 Apps which u want on the bottom of the lockscreen. This functionwas given in other FWs before, so i thought someone will use it when he knows that it is given in the FW now
Isnt this already in the firmware.. it is already enenbled on tmo s4

Ok this part of the Menu is missing in my FW DBT.
So i think the DBT is the problem that this menu point is missing, in the past it was missing to in other FWs for Galaxy S2 DBT versions.
i have it from day one in every firm i tried

Then is the question "why is this menu missing in the DBT XXUBMF8 SuperSlim?" I think not that it is missing cause an app was removed, cause thats are system Settings which are not handeled over an app.
And i heard that im not the only one where this menu is missing, its a little bit strange...
I have DBT too and mine is also missing, kinda annoying...
maybe because i have 9500 ?

U must get a app like QuickShortCutMaker
In this app u must search under Settings for this point:
com.android.settings
/com.android.settings.lockscreenshortcut.LockScreenSchortcutSettings
thats the menu you need.

This worked! I had these same problems with a number of DBM firmwares, this worked perfectly on first official 4.3 release.
Thank you very much.
@OP
I thought the shortcut options for the lockscreen (in the standard lockscreen settings menu) were varied depending on the type of unlock method you used. If you only unlock by swiping, you had more widget/shortcut options available, but if you had a tighter lockscreen security then you don't have so many options.
I use a pattern unlock and the options disappear for me because of my unlock method.
I'll try your guide and see if I can add shortcuts without changing my lockscreen security type.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT: I tried the shortcut you posted, it does bring up that settings screen regardless of what type of lockscreen you're using, but with my pattern lockscreen it still doesn't show the shortcuts on there. When I set my lockscreen type to swipe, the app shortcuts appear on the lockscreen, and so does the menu option in the standard settings menu to select/change the apps, as per your shortcut to this screen.

[APP][4.1+] ReHoloEd Launcher

Hi, i'd like to introduce my launcher, which is also my first app on Google Play.
The Idea behind it is very simple: You have quick access to self defined start page apps and if you want to open an other app you can simply scroll to the right. Personally I don't need any widgets (and it's much work for me to implement them ) so I didn't implement them.
Currently you can choose between some uniform color schemes, which include all Holo colors, and app-icon-dependant colors. Also, you can select one out of 7 simple transitions. Finally there's the clock and the current date on the top left under the page indicators.
It is in very early beta phase so there can be some issues here and there. If so, please report them.
In addition to that, there are no tranlations besides english at the moment, but I hope there's some time to change that.
Download on Play Store: search for "ReHoloEd Launcher" (sorry but I'm not able to give a link right now due to XDA rules [<10 posts])
Have fun
Great idea.
Could you make it more Iphonelike?
Different colorschemes or so.

I failed myself, I wanted to remove this button but I have so many layouts and I removed it only from one
[emoji15] that was a fast update

So, finally I added these app drawer icon styles:
- Default (with card as background)
- No background
- Icon only
and I think I got rid of this button very quick, next version 1.0.4 is up in some... minutes... hours... depending on how fast Google Play works
laggy and buggy but great concept

A "bug" I found is in the swipe menu, is written <<Johnny, your developper.>> developer, not developper...lol

If it shows a FC-message, please send it so I can view whats going on.
I decided to start to try implementing some sort of folders as well as a hiding-apps-function tomorrow... I hope that I can fix these laggyness-problems soon.
Disable vibration with touch .
New build 1100 aka Version 1.1 is going to be uploaded soon.
Changes:
Code:
New: Folders
-> Drag an App onto an other one to create a folder
-> Drag an App onto a folder to include it
-> Drag a folder to delete-field to remove it
-> longclick on App in folder removes it from folder
-> when deleting the last app in a folder: folder removed
-> Click on folder title when opened to change name
New: Drag over pages
-> you can drag an app over multiple pages by dragging it on the left/right border of the screen
New: Icon labels have a background when not showing cards as background
New: Ad in Settings
New: Hide app from app drawer (option found in settings)
Fixed: various performance issues
Removed: Vibrate on single click
Folders are a tiny little bit "buggy" because the whole app drawer will be updated at once when you create or delete a folder or delete/add an app to it. But it's still a beta, so let's proceed

[REQ] Xposed ? Change color of Active Display

I've been trying out different ROMs and AcDis apps, but nothing compares to the stock Active Display. One feature I liked of the AcDis-like apps was the ability to change the foreground color. Is it possible to change the stock app's foreground color with an xposed mod or app? Thanks.

I have been messing around with xblast and managed to change some of the colors. Not the clock color but some of the info you get when you press down on a notification in active display. That's a powerful xposed module.
Yeah I would love to be able to change the colors. I'm sure it could be done with xposed but I have no clue how to code. If anyone took this up it would be appreciated!
Might be able to come up with something...
Is there any way to change the active display pulsing time / duration? It's great, but the time difference between the Active display going off and coming back is six seconds for notifications, which is little too much for me.
Thanks for you help, let me know if you need anything from me. I'm on an unlocked Verizon running stock system, faux kernal, and TWRP.

This is still new my friend it's not even publish yet in playstore so it hasn't been themed yet From MOD Themers!
I know it's new. My mistake in wording. What I meant to ask was-did Google include in the app to have a dark theme. I don't know why app developers dont just include that.

Google does not let you change anything about the Gmail UI, including the stupid gray font for read messages that makes it difficult to read the subject lines. I used the App Settings to increase the font size for Gmail only, because the default font size is intolerable.
Great! Working ok!
Thanx

Modification to allow all notifications to trigger Edge Lighting?

As it stands only Apps that use the "Wake Screen" notifications.
Could a ROM modification or possible Magisk module be made that over rides this and processes all notifications through the "Edge Lighting" feature?
That would be great - root came quickly, but we probably need to be patient to really benefit from it.

It does not - not fully anyway
It wakes the screen but doesn't provide the correct icon or content
