Try this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.live.photos from the play store. There's a few others to choose from

News & weather app

Here is a great customisable news and weather app that I got off my phone. Its not available for download anywhere. At least not that I could find https://www.box.com/shared/8ts4848odly1ujfcr8tk

Thanks for sharing, but anymore explanation? What isn't called? What phone? Better yet screen shots. Just want to know what I'm getting into

The app is just called news and weather. Its from the optimus v. It has custom news. You can put xbox for example and it gives you all news about xbox. Or you can put porn if you want. Any topic you want

Nexus 5/4.4 Wallpaper

Just saw it out there and thought I'd share
Needs to be higher resolution. The upper left is jagged and blurred. Nice find, though.

I found it on Droid-Life, and it has a blur like yours. If that's official that's dirty. Lol.

Wallpaper Plus has all the stock android wallpapers plus a lot of sense/toucwiz/LG stuff too.

Smartwatches

Hey guys I'm lost on a few things. I know that HTC is coming out with a smart watch by Christmas but I was wondering if anyone knows of any that will work with our phones via bluetooth, wifi, nfc, I don't care. I do want to be able to watch movies on it though (yes my vision is that good) all I can find is a bunch of maybes and they all say 3g hence the bluetooth, pairing. Do I even need a sim card if I'm not planning on using it as a standalone phone? Even the forum here on XDA is a lot of arguing and speculation. I need help, for some reason I want to watch movies on my phone and I also want notifications and blah blah. Anyone know anything about something like this or am I dreaming? Thanks guys.

You're dreaming
Just get a Pebble and be happy with a watch that can actually be usable as one (go swimming and battery last at least five days)

Thanks man, after hours of more research your right, I am dreaming, they have video player phones but the reviews are horrible. I will look into the Pebble as the below poster suggests. Thanks for responding to my midnight crazy post guys.

Not sure I'm understanding your question but the Sony Smartwatch 2 works perfectly with my HTC One and has quite a bit of functionality and apps.

Just wait till the Moto 360 comes out. And once the iwatch comes out all smartwatches will really step up their game.
The Moto ACTV can run a full android OS. look into that, maybe. gotta be comfortable with some non-idiotproof rooting though. there's not a huge following for it so the method is there, but only for the seriously committed.
I love my Sony smart watch 2

If all goes as planned, I'll have mine tomorrow and I plan on toying around with those. I'm used to them on my DSLR so if I get ambitious enough, maybe I'll do some side by sides, but I'm pretty lazy soooo.,......
The left image is on my Canon T3i in manual mode. The right is my Note 5. I in no way expected it to be close to the same quality but the color was just way off. https://i.imgur.com/4z1XkqT.jpg The manual settings on the Note 5, though nice....are still quite basic. I may try a couple other cameras with RAW support.

Did you see they have a 'Food' filter setting you can download from within the camera app? Wonder how much a difference it would make.

Took some pictures of my new place this weekend:
These are just snapped in auto mode, no changes made to anything. Really like the camera, especially how quickly it focuses. Have been told to try the Auto HDR mode, so I will when I get a chance.

Any way to get iOS emojis WITHOUT root?

The one thing I need to make this phone perfect is emojis from iOS. Does anybody know how to go about doing this without root? I have the T-Mobile variant.
I've seen on Huawei phones you simply select a .ttf file that has the iOS emojis built into it.
Beer money goes to the first person to figure this out!!
