So, I a getting the Samsung boot logo after trying this http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...xtrestolite-deodexed-mod-edition-1-0-t3094423
I have a 920W8, this happened after flashing the modem and bootloader that it recommended. I have tried http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=66351355&postcount=11733
I cant get into TWRP (I got into it once, automatically right after install), but I can get into Odin, but the stock firmware fails on the system.img install.
Nevermind, managed to flash up to 6.0.1, but now I can't get TWRP to stick without bricking it, so no XtreStoLite.
Try to flash twrp using Flashify app. It'll allow you to flash and then boot right into twrp and flash whatever rom you like. I had the same issue as you before and this did it for me.

No love unfortunately, even with flashify it just stalls at the boot screen. I can use Odin to reflash Chain-fire to fix, but I can't do anything beyond that?

Did you flash the boot.img in fastboot? Or use torxxs boot flash script.

Thanks for the reply, I did flash it in fastboot. I just figured out how to copy a file over to my phone with the terminal so I am going to start over again. I just had to figure out how to do that.

Hello,
I Have the same issue and I flash the boot.img with fastboot mode.
I don't know what to do.
Thank you
i've encountered the same issue when flashing custom kernels. try just flashing the rom .zip and boot it up before going back into recovery and flashing the gapps. or try flashing a different kernel in fastboot and see if it comes up

The problem is I can't reach my SDcard due to an issue with CWM. I saved my former rom. So I tried to restore it but the same problem appeared
Thank you for your help.
which version of CWM are you running? you could try flashing a different version (i had to flash the regular CWM over the touch version because it was giving me issues) or you could try flashing TWRP recovery

I will try.
Thank you very much.
Had this several times with Trickdroid. Sometimes you just have to keep trying different combinations of flashing boot.img, clearing cache and running the Aroma installer...take special note of the Aroma messages...I found mine was just skipping right over the ROM install completely for some reason.
Thank you
Thank you for your responses, it was a boot problem.

I have the same problem he does, and I can confirm, locking and unlocking the bootloader doesnt do anything. I tried flashing several Stock images and the stock recovery and that didnt do the trick either
Did you try using toolboxes to flash the recovery via flashboot, or root and download rom manager to flash a recovery?

The same for me. I just bought Oneplus One, updated OTA to 38R and tried flash TWRP and CWM recovery by ToolBox or directly by fastboot, but the new recovery doesn't work. It is flashed successfully, but when I reboot into recovery, my phone freeze. I will try Philz recovery now.

If you stuck on boot screen then you have to try to go in recovery mode and flash stock rom.if it doesn't work then you have to flash your device with stock rom.

Whenever I flash twrp (via fastboot) on my OP6, it comes out successful, but when I boot to it, it sticks on the TWRP splash screen and doesnt do anything until i hold down the power button to force shut it down and boot to system, i can flash bootable twrp, but then i cannot install magisk, because i was getting an error saying that there isnt enough space in /boot, i have no clue what to do and just want to get twrp and root, this has never happened to me before, if anyone has an idea why its happening or how to fix it then please say . Thanks in advance.

I just updated to ESG5 version of OREO. The nightmare comes... I cannot boot again now !!
Until I flash back the original version of OREO, that is , with ESG5 bootloader one, it can boot.
However, I cannot use TWRP and root anymore !
Anyone has idea? thanks a lot

Don't use no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.0.zip (you probably don't need it) .
Start all over. Flash the stock ROM with Odin, then flash TWRP, and then flash Magisk (via TWRP).
