Hello guys.
I recently bought a 3 in 1 USB cable from eBay. I has got a type-C connector, lightning port, and micro USB porb. The doubt I have is, can I charge all my 3 devices at the same time? Will it affect my charging adapter?
Thanks in advance!!
Pls do reply!

Hi all,
Has anybody got any of these? I have my old diamond 2 htc car charger and would like to be able to use it on the desire via an adapter. I understand most adapters only support charging?
Please post your experiences with any you have tried.
Thank you
The adapters shouldn't be a problem. They should have a full set of pins. Some cables only have the pins that are used for power.
BTW - someone is likely to ask why you are syncing your handset with your car cigarette lighter

i've bought some mini to micro usb adapters and they are great for charnging and sync as well. they are made in germany, delock is the manufacturer.
Have a look at my post in, "Not a Standard Micro USB power cable"
There is an adapter available from CPC in Preston (Mail order available, but don't know how much they charge) and also a couple of USB -> Micro USB leads available from them.
Also available, from Maplin is a 'micro' cigarette lighter to USB Adaptor to plug into your car which is quite a bit smaller and sleeker-looking than the one I currently use. For £5.99 it seems a reasonable deal.

i sincerely had to laugh at that comment
Hi everyone,
I have bought a usb cable to mini-b and it seems incompatible with desire.
It can charge the mobile, but I can't sync.
In htc page you can read:
Standard micro-USB
(5-pin micro-USB 2.0)
It might be my cable defective.
Sorry for my enlglish. I'm learning,
I read somewhere some cables dont have a data pin on it, so it will charge but not transfer data. You need to make sure on the package it states it is a data cable.
data cable
I've just bought that one , working

Hi all
This is probably a really obvious question, but here goes.
I have a Xoom.
I have a HTC Desire S phone.
I want to USB Cable Tether my HTC Desire S to the Xoom
I already have 1 x USB OTG Mini-USB Male to Female USB cable connected to the Xoom.
So ..... to correctly OTG connect to the HTC Desire S to the Xoom:-
=> does the lead going from my phone to the Xoom Female OTG USB cable also need to be OTG ?
or
=> can the lead going from my phone to the Xoom be a standard NON-OTG cable ?
Thanks,
Ben

Hi llama-power
Wow ...... I had *assumed* that the cable running between the 2 devices had to be fully / completley OTG compatible.
So basically, as long as the cable hanging out of the Xoom is OTG compatible, then I can use a stock standard NON-OTG cable to run from it into the phone ?

If you plug your OTG-cable into your xoom, it (the xoom) will behave like a regular pc. Thus, whatever you plug into that OTG-cable can be as stock as it gets...
Hi llama-power
Huge thanks - first time I've had it explained so easily and simply that I understood it clearly.
Very much appreciated and all the best,
Ben

as a side note it should charge your phone up too! so you only need one charger to carry round (The Xoom)! XD

But not at the current that your dedicated charger would supply, thus you'd have to charge a LOT longer...

Hello Everybody , I have a Tablet Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 N8010 . In fact my Tablet is charging slowly and when i connect with the usb cable my computer does not recognize the Tablet . Somebody can help me
Are you using original cable ?
Long cable tend to be slow charing
I just received my Note 10.1, a used one with 3m length cable, and same as you, not recognized by the pc, I ordered shorter one on ebay
Also not sure Galaxy charging works for this tablet, but it's less than 0.5A when using this cable, sooo....
i had a problem like this.
Use the original cable, or a usb 3.0

Hello guys
First of all I will excuse me for my bad English.
I've a question about the use of the USB OTG system. I'd like to use a general 3xUSB (female) to MicroUSB (male) cable in this way: 1 numpad/key arrows, 1 mouse and 1 port for charging the Android phone itself at a power point. Is this possible with the general cables in the stores? So not, does it exists and where must I pay attention(I don't really mean the OTG Y cables, because I can't find one with 2 USB (female) ports and I don't know where the energy gain from the Micro USB (female) port and charger is good for (Recharging phone or powering the USB port)
The reason I'll ask this is becuz I like to play Oldschool Runescape play easier on my mobile phone with XDSL Wheezy than I do now. I hope the mouse and numpad/key artows work already with it.
Greetings Delelith and thanks in advance!
