Hello,
I'd recommend you to do a clean install of latest CM nightly of your device along with recommended gapps (Opengapps).
Also you may register for a XDA account to post and reply in the forums.

[Q] Android 5.01 - Verification Failed

Okay so I've just received a refurbished Nexus 5 from Google as my old one had a hardware power button fail. Anyway I've decided this time round I'm not going to root and wanted the phone completely stock so thought I would do all the OTA updates it gives me before I start messing around with it but have a slight problem.
The phone came installed with 4.4.2 and did an over the air update to 4.4.4 it now wants to upgrade to 5.0.1 however whenever I download the update which is 479.5MB it downloads it and tries to 'verify' install and then I get a 'verification failed' every time and it doesn't install, anyone know what's going on? (may I add I have literally not touched the phone it's come straight from Google, the only thing I've done is logged into my Google account and updated whatever stock apps needed updating in the play store)

Looks like you have a bad download of the ota. By formating the cache partition you delete the downloaded ota and they you can try to download again.

[Q] None of GApps working in Custom ROM

Hey there!
Sorry for creating a pull for asking help first, but I've been messing around the forum and Google with no results.
The thing is: I have a Motola Moto G 2013, it works pretty fine. Some time ago I'd like to try CM 12.0, and everything went okay. I didn't need to install the GApps cause, don't know why, it already has Play Store and Google Services, so, no problem.
Some days ago my phone started to work PRETTY bad, and reading in the web found that CM 12.1 were released, so i thought "lets give it a try"
CM 12.1 installed well, but without any GApp, so started to search the GApps packages. Tried with many of them, Pico, Nano, Stock, from april of this year, may of thies year, even from july this year! But none of them worked. When Android starts (after GApps install) appears a windows that says that a factory reset is needed. After that, starts the nightmare. Constantly, really constantly, appears two windows "Play Store has stopped" and "com.google.process.gapps has stopped" and after that, like pressing the "Ok" button10 or 15 times, almost every time, it gets on black and only can power off and restart,
As I could, went to settings > all > and cleaned and stopped every google service. When I made that the device perdormance goes pretty much better, but when try to acces mi gmail o opening play store, again, the same.
I thought that changing the recovery would do some change effect. Tried with CWM (the one i had from before), Philz Touch and now the latest version of TWRP (the one that looks like Material Design), with no effects. And finally, tried with other ROM. I downloaded AOSP http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/rom-android-source-project-t3060704 but again, gapps error. Also tried with blisspop, but couldn't install it, it was like 4 a.m. and my mood wasn't good for keep trying.
Before you ask, yes, I made every goddamn wipe before and after the install (after only dalvik and cache partition)
It's like no matter what ROM, no matter what version of GApps, the doesn't work. I've been like this from two days ago, and really, the different options are starting to vanish.
Sorry again for creating a topic for this, but is this, or throwing the PC and mobile above the window.
And, also, sorry about my english, I'm from Argentina.
If you need more details, like Recovery versions, GApps versions, screens, anything, ask 4 it.
Cheers and thanks!

Various errors with SlimRom gapps on Moto G4

Hi,
I have a new Moto G4 runnning Slim-athene-6.0.1.build.1.11-WEEKLY-20161111-1135.
I am trying to get my apps installed and running without error and experiencing one setback after the next, see attachment. Installing gapps along with the rom and I can't get passed the setup stage. Installing the rom, rebooting then installing the current gapps and the keyboard does not work.
The closest I have got to being up and running is installing prior version of the gapps Slim_minimal_gapps.4.4.3.build.5.8-60.zip. However once this is installed my apps won't run and prompt me to install Google Play Services, and once I do that I get constant errors that Google Play Services has stopped working and the phone is practically useless. I have read clearing the cache for the app fixes this, but not for me.
Anybody managed to beat this?

Help with nexus 7 (2012) rom

Hi. for 2 days I have been googling and looking on this forum on which rom is best for nexus 2012, but I can't find anything at all. most posts are for 2013 version or outdated with dead links.
I was able to get lineage 14.1 on it, but it was missing google play, after following some guide here and installing Gapps, it then stopped booting. it got stuck on the google logo and that's it. lineage 14.1 itself worked fine, installation of gapps succeeded, but simply won't boot. tried several times. always gets stuck on google logo (waited over 15 minutes).
before that i had some kali version on it, but out of the blue it stopped working and wouldn't boot anymore, that's where i deciced to try lineage. i dont want kali on it anymore as it was sluggish to start with.
so I thought I'll just put original rom on it and was looking for original 2012 rom download, but it seems like it comes in pieces like system.img boot.img ..etc and I don't want to overwrite my bootloader or lock the device again or cause other issues. I just want a working rom that can be sideloaded.
can someone please point out which rom is actually working with nexus 7 2012 and can be flashed using sideload or twrp loader.
I already have everything working, such as twrp, fastboot ..etc. I can easily sideload any working zip or img, but I simply can't find a working one.
I find only dead links on this forum and elsewhere, such as this one "xxxxxx" which is suppose to be for some nightly version. and some dead gapps links that point to dead domains or link just doesn't even exist.
please dont start suggesting to buy new tablet. i'm poor and i have no money and i only need this tablet to use with my smart plugs and camera. i'm not going to buy new tablet just for that. i just want to keep it on charger 24/7 so i can monitor my plugs and camera. that's all.
but for that i need working android rom and google play store so i can download and update apps.
I don't have any backups nor important data on it, however i want to keep it unlocked and keep the twrp.
any help would be appreciated. thanks.

it was bit sluggish and got stuck couple times during boot, but it worked.
I think better question to ask is: does any of the ROMs comes with gapps?
It was like 5-6 years ago so i don't remember much, but i installed some version of kali on it and it had everything included (play store and other stuff). however as i mentioned before, for some reason it got really, really sluggish and at some point it just stopped booting completely.
so your question is about gapps. ROMs always should provided without google apps for licence violation.
use older installer. check recovery.log
