Verizon s6 red triangle helpppppp??? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6

Verizon s6 when it's pluged in it has a red triangle what's wrong with it

How long have you had the phone? Might be an issue with the battery / charging port.

Can you elaborate?

This honestly makes no sense and is not a long enough question to give us a picture of the problem let alone to let us know how to begin to suggest you could fix it. Can you provide some more information?

Please send a screenshot when this is happening by holding down the home and power button for a few seconds so we can further see what's going on here.

have you tried download mode by...pull battery out / plug usb cable / hold volume buttons only ...while holding buttons...pop battery back in...should see this on your phone...

Read and try what was mention here....final product from what I understand, they stilled odin with screen white...?
not sure if it was flashing, but others stated had to do a replacement for this issue.
see if odin still will see your phone even with flashing...

Let us know, and I will continue to help research, I know qkster has dealt with others in this situation.
How it helps, but will require some reading and understanding on your part, not saying you wont or wont understand, but bottom line your at the end...you have the phone in your hands, all we can do is provide the sources and resources, best of luck, ok
appreciate the help, great support
so I realized that that link you posted with the white screen issue, was that he probably had a white screen like me only difference is that i have a white screen that turns on and off, so odin or any other program only recongnizes it when it temporarly flashes white
Any luck...

[Q] help my AT&T samsung s2 skyrocket wont turn on

My Samsung wont turn on. It had water damage to it so I took it apart and cleaned it with 99% isopropol alcohol. When I put the battery back in it vibrates and shows the Samsung logo briefly then goes away. What should I do?
Can you get it into download mode? If it's water damage it could be a lot of things. But if you can get into download I'd try to odin back to stock and then go from there.

By pressing the up and down volume button and the lock button at the same time it flashes the Samsung logo. How do you get it to download mode?

Plug your usb cable into your PC. Hold vol up and down, then plug the usb into the phone while still holding the vol keys. Hold until you get in download mode.

He was saying that the problem may have been a sticky power button, and to remove it will need a soldering iron. He has done a few this was and never had an issue.
On topic, I have had the same issue with multiple roms, a black screen after the Samsung screen goes away. Did it with the CM 10.2 and the DU rom.

[Q] Truly Bricked?

Hello:
I attempted to load AT&T Stock Rooted DE-ODEX - 1.26.502.12 today, since I was having some issues with the camera/video while using Rage One 1.1.0, which worked great for a few weeks other than that, but now my phone is completely stuck after several hours and full battery on "HTC quietly brilliant (pun intended?) with the red text on the bottom "This build is for development...blah blah blah".
Is this thing seriously bricked with no hope? I've searched all over the web and seems like people use the term too loosely, making it really difficult to figure out if there's any hope for a phone in this state. No red light when charging or recognition by any computers that it's connected and flashboot attempts only respond with "waiting for device".
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It does not sound to me like you have a carrier locked HTC one XL... but as long as you can get to bootloader you are not bricked.
What phone do you have? Your bootloader should have the proper info.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. You are correct, I meant to post it in this forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2222 although I originally posted in the international forum and he sent me to this one, really sorry about that.
It's an AT&T HTC One X and I can't get anywhere, just sits there at the initial splash screen, for hours now.

Press and hold power. The capacitive buttons will blink about 7 times or so and the screen will go black. Once the screen goes black, let go of power and press and hold volume down until the bootloader comes up.
Then tell me everything it says on the top portion of that screen. Don't bother including the stuff at the bottom.

No such luck, the buttons on the bottom blink, but it never turns off, just sits there on the splash screen. I'd be super happy if I could get the bootloader back! The red charging light is also off and I have it plugged into the wall. Also, 3 computers and 8 usb ports do not recognize it as being connected.

Keep holding it until the screen shuts off. Sometimes it blinks way more than 7 times.
If that doesn't work. Let the battery drain then charge for 15 minutes or so and then press and hold volume and power down while the device is off to turn it on in bootloader mode.

Just be careful, from what i understand those things give off a lot of heat. The point, I believe is just so you can tell the difference when the backlight shuts off, not to cook the phone

Thank you so much exad, I really appreciate the help. I held down the power button for close to 3 minutes, but still no luck. I thought about letting the battery drain as well, although it's a full charge and not sure how long it would take to drain, although I think it might be worth a shot. What options would I have if it does come back and I'm not able to get the computer to recognize it's attached?
Thanks again for all your help!

What happens when you mount USB storage in TWRP? (also, best to use TWRP 2.3.3.1 or under if you aren't already, to avoid further complications)

nothing really... i just bought it and used it, i did not mod it..
I was able to turn it on, just one time... and it get to samsung and the sound from the booting screen made a strange noise, after that im not able to turn it on but it still looping on battery like the video
Then its not likely a software brick.
Its extremely possible that the battery is bad or that a wire may be loose inside

Firstly, why are you trying random button combinations? There's only one button combo that you should use and that's power + volume down. Next, when you connect the phone to your PC, does it show up in Device Manager? What does it show up as?

There's plenty of information right here in this device section that tells you exactly which button combo to use. Just trying random things is a very bad idea, that's how you damage your phone. Anyway, are you sure you can't get into the bootloader? Hold the volume down button, then hold the power button (so you're holding both buttons together), after a couple of seconds let go of the power button but continue to hold the volume down button until you reach the white screen with text, this is your bootloader.

It's too hard to say, you might have just gotten really unlucky and have a spontaneous brick. A jtag repair might be able to revive it though so look into that.

It isn't something you can do yourself. I'm not sure where you are in the world but you'll need to find a professional who can do it for you. If you're in the US I hear good things about Mobiletechvideos, I don't think they have a web site but they're on YouTube and Facebook.
